A friend was visiting NY and we decided to try something more authentic and go out of Manhattan. After researching a little bit for a Colombian restaurant, Pollos Mario was one of the places with good reviews and interesting menu. The service was great and the staff was very attentive (thanks John, and Chris). The DJ was playing fantastic music, and I also enjoyed the rooftop decor. They had fresh flowers at each table and lots of instagramable areas. I had a taco platter and a couple of cocktails that were delicious. Absolutely amazing experience - The food was excellent, the meats were perfectly cooked and full of flavor, and the service was outstanding from start to finish. Peruvian combo is fairly simple compared with larger Peruvian platters that include rice, beans, or other traditional sides. The Rotisserie Chicken delivers rich, savory flavor and is the highlight of the meal.
