We came here to eat on a thursday night for dinner. We did make reservations but was not needed due to it not being busy. Service was okay. We got our dinner before getting our waffle shake. The shake took like 30min to an hour to get. I think they forgot about making it which was disappointing. The food was very delicious and fresh. They take food allergies seriously. Alot of variety if you have a picky eater with you! Definitely recommend eating here!

I just want to say they have an amazing server named Marcella. The ambiance at the restaurant was peaceful and nice. We came in wanting to try the labneh and the server also recommended the moussaka. The moussaka was the BEST thing we had there and is a must try. The chicken shawarma was solid and came with a garlic dip. If you like cheese, I’d recommend the grilled halloumi with fig jam and the knafeh which is basically a sweet mozzarella cake. We ordered a mint lemonade that was really refresh

This location is amazing. The food here is delicious and always fresh. Customer service is on point. Lily, Aaron, and Aubrie took care of my wife and I today. They were all so friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend this location. I work at Panda Express in Morningside heights and from one restaurant to another, you guys sure doing great!!

I have tried some other times this place also when they were in NYC. Taste was a lot better those days. Today I stopped by for a quick lunch and ordered calamari. But it came out very oily and the calamar itself was not tender. İ explained the situation and changed my order to grilled octopus. It was soft and tender. The prices gone up a lot. The location is very center of Astoria. Service was fast and nice. Thanks.

Yeah just a heads up I’m gonna be glazing on this one. Barbounia is of my top five restaurants in the city. Every dish on the menu ranges from very good to outstanding, and the service is consistently polished and professional. Despite its popularity, the restaurant strikes the perfect balance - energetic and bustling without ever feeling overcrowded. I’ve been here for date nights, large group dinners, and solo meals at the bar, and it excels in every setting. The soaring ceilings, warm lighti

Seriously one of the best meals I’ve had in New York. From start to finish, everything was fabulous. I was seated quickly outside and was treated to a fun thunderstorm as I enjoyed the tasty dishes. All were brought within perfect timing of one another. The waiter was attentive and chill. His suggestions were perfect. You’ll have just enough without feeling overly stuffed. Portions were generous. An array of Mediterranean goodness awaits you. Their lamb/beef is so tender and favorable.

We came to Fandi Mata for brunch and had a great experience overall. The food was delicious, and we especially loved the pitcher of the passion fruit cocktail, it was super tasty and refreshing. The space itself is very cool and has a great vibe. The only downside was the DJ/music was way too loud for 1pm brunch, making it really hard to hear each other at the table. Still a fun spot and definitely worth checking out!

Had this place on my list for a while and it definitely lived up to the hype. The hummus was so smooth and flavorful, and the mouhamara had the perfect smoky flavor that paired really well with the pita. The brussel sprouts were surprisingly good. I’ve never had them served with grapes and walnuts before, but the combination worked so well. The fattoush salad was the star of the meal. Such a fresh, perfect summer salad, and adding the chankleesh gave it even more flavor. The mixed grill is a

Finally made it to Bel Aire Diner and I can honestly say it lives up to the hype especially with their halal menu option. Being able to swap any protein on their regular menu for halal is a game changer, and they don’t cut corners at all. The Harissa Chicken Sandwich was a standout with its juicy chicken thigh glazed in sweet-spicy harissa honey, perfectly balanced and tucked into soft brioche with a nice crunch from the cabbage. The Halal Chicken Parm was pure comfort crispy, tender, and paired

This restaurant came highly recommended and I I can see why. Great location. We walked over after seeing a Broadway show. Food and service were excellent. Cocktail was perfect. Large wine list. Elevated Mediterranean dishes are matched by wine and craft cocktails at this restaurant.
Some places gain popularity through a truly compelling and well-executed culinary presentation—others, less clearly so. This feels like the latter. The food is adequate, but unremarkable, and the service comes across as somewhat awkward. The space itself is quite noisy and tightly packed, seemingly maximizing table count at the expense of comfort. There’s a palpable sense of rush throughout the service, which detracts from the overall dining experience and makes it feel less relaxed than it shou

They don’t take reservations for small groups though so there’s often a wait, but we went at an odd time on Valentine’s Day and were able to be seated quickly. The restaurant has a good vibe and fun dining atmosphere. The waitress was very attentive, friendly and helpful. We had side of grilled rice and broccoli, salmon and chicken schnitzel. The salmon had good taste and delicious pistachio crusts. However the portion was disguised in baking paper. Tiny portion of Salmon and vegetables. The rice could be more flavor. The schnitzel was delicious especially the beet sauce. But I looked over the next table, their portion of chicken was double of mine. I

This is going to get personal and a bit emotional, but I have to say it! Your staff was beyond phenomenal on Thursday, April 23rd. 2026, I've been a frequent pastor byer with my dog, Bruno, for a few years now. Now. We've established a friendly relationship in the last 2 years with your staff, particularly the manager/host, Sonny; who Bruno has grown very fond of. With that being said, we have indulged in a meal semi-frequently. I must say that I absolutely love your duck bacon, egg and cheese!

This place is always busy, but I have to give credit where it’s due—the staff does an excellent job keeping things moving and making sure orders are taken quickly. It really makes a difference when employees are friendly and actually smile. Recently, I noticed a new employee or manager, Levis, who really stood out. The octopus is PERFECTLY cooked. The flavors are incredible. I only wish it came with some potato or salad underneath. We also got the lamb fricassee, that sauce is so lovely and lemony. I think the lamb was just a touch over cooked but that is my only note on that dish. We got a half portion of rice on the side and I would recommend so you can savor every last bit of the sauce! I’ve been to all the Avra locations in NYC and they are all wonderful. This was our first time at the Avra Hudson Yards. Wow. The space is incredibly spacious with plenty of tables and no one is on top of each other. Beautiful decor, service is great. Everyone tending to your table, constantly. I tried a new menu item for takeout, and it felt noticeably lighter than usual. When I opened the bowl, it was only filled about halfway. Honestly, it looked like one serving had been split between two people. Consistency is really important, especially for a place I’ve trusted before. This portion was far below what I’ve received in the past, and it didn’t feel worth the price at all. I hope this was just a one-off issue, but it definitely left a bad impression.
