There's a sea of better options in the area. My $40 entree came with mushy microwaved frozen vegetables and the rest tasted accordingly. Prices charged were even higher than printed on the menu, and those were already way higher than they should be for the quality.

Dining at Rana Fifteen for Rana’s Table felt like being invited into someone’s home for a big, generous feast. The spread just kept coming.. meze, seafood, mains, and dessert—all meant to share, which made the whole experience feel really fun and communal. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and thoughtfully prepared, with a few standout dishes that I kept going back for. It’s the kind of meal where you leave completely full but already thinking about when you’d come back.

Yes, the place isn't exactly sparkling clean, it's dated inside. But the food is absolutely delicious and they ask what you want on your gyro, they don't just dump stuff on it. Worker was very helpful and the food didn't take long. Very filling big portions as well! There are three chairs if you want to eat inside.

You’ve seen table side guac preparation, but have you ever seen a hummus cart? This was definitely a highlight for me. Not just for the spectacle, but also for the flavor —with hummus so creamy and topped with sumac, olive oil, and warm chickpeas. Other standout dishes were the lamb neck and lemon chicken. There are plenty of protein options to please anyone in your party, along with a variety of dips and other sides, and delicious warm bread. Thank you Chris, who took the time to walk us throug

My experience at Red Sea Restaurant was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment I stepped through the door, I was impressed by the restaurant’s warm and welcoming atmosphere. The entire place is impeccably clean, well-organized, and clearly managed with a high level of professionalism. The food was the true highlight of my visit. Every dish was freshly prepared, full of bold and authentic flavors, and presented with great attention to detail. You can immediately tell that the ingredients

So disappointing! The manager swindled us to come in with the price of purchasing a bottle and hookah. He came off very personable but was the only staff in at the time. The first red flag was the cups were filthy so I had to ask him to rewash them. As we got the bottle and chaser, (cranberry juice). As I poured my first drink, I soon realized there was a ROACH In my drink! I let him know and he said he didn’t even want to see it and then proceeded to tell me it was a fruit fly from the limes. I

Hit or Miss. But you need to know… This is not your local hookah spot. This is for Yemeni men. The back seating area which is very nice Yemeni style is for men only. They will not tell you that they will just say “oh we have reservations at 6 o’clock” and so we sat in the front and no one came in at 6 o’clock and there was plenty of empty rooms but anyway I get it because it’s for the men. Now at least the hookah should be good. It was not this time. I came before a few time, sat in the front, a

Good 👍🏻 For three years I have been eating lamb ribs with rice and white sauce at this restaurant. It’s very tasty. The service here is very convenient. If you work late or are a taxi driver, you can eat delicious food here even at 1:00 am so you don’t have to wait 20 minutes for your dish. Call the phone number and make an order and you will arrive in 20 minutes, your dish will be ready, the service is very good guys, very friendly, everything is always fresh, I recommend this place because m

My family and I genuinely love Yemeni food, so when we found this place nearby, we were excited to try it. That excitement didn’t last long. From the moment I walked in, something felt off, the entrance door literally screeches like a warning sign telling you to turn around. I should have trusted that instinct. I ordered two lamb chop platters at over $45 each, along with a few additional items. Despite placing a pickup order, I still waited about 30 minutes after arriving. When I finally got h

I came for the hookah but the food was the star of the show! The lamb chips, chicken kebab and rice, wings, and cheese fries are all worth ordering. The salad that the entrees come with is absolutely delicious!! The hookah was well made, very smooth and long lasting. The service was good and the ambience was very chill.

Absolutely phenomenal food! I could not believe such delicious food came out of a teeny tiny kitchen but they surely made the magic happen. Each dish was brilliantly plated and presented as if it were being served at a dine in restaurant. The chicken shawarma dish was moist, flavorful, delectably seasoned and well complemented with the fresh Jerusalem salad rice. My partner opted for one of the lamb dishes which was fragrant, aromatic and overall a savory delight. If this place were a bigger sit

The food here is good quality and great portions as you can see from the double cheeseburger combo picture. It’s one of the better halal food spots that are in NYC. The only downside would be that it doesn’t have any good seating but to be honest, halal food is usually takeout anyway so its not a big deal at all. I have been here multiple times and the quality and service have been consistently good.

A nice and quiet place to hangout with your friends and family. I think the ownership has been changed to this place and that's why the restaurant is not fully packed with all food items. But that didn't stop them to deliver good service and quality food. They have a decent place to sit and enjoy your meal.

Notes: Rating for the style of food, and the only other good Halal cart/halal spot in the area outside of Turkish places is the similarly priced King of Shawarma & Falafel, which has worse quality meat. Also, they make the chapli kabobs to order, as they should, so order early or order something else if you're in a hurry. This restaurant brings back the importance of having a chef interact with his customers, someone who really cares about who he’s about to serve. For the quality of food you get, the prices are worth it and the flavors are immaculate. My jaw literally dropped after the first taste of each plate he handed me and you can feel the essence of genuine love in every dish he curates for you. Go in and ask him to make you whatever he suggests, and you’ll understand what food is supposed to taste like.

First time at a NAYA! Very similar to a Cava / Mezze with bowl + wraps. Stopped by on an early Sat afternoon and there was ample seating. I decided to get a Chicken Shawarma bowl bc it seemed basic enough. However, I did ask the server what protein they preferred and they said the Lamb, so they generously added a piece of Lamb at no extra cost! l also trusted the server choose the toppings and sauces to add + it didn't disappoint! I got the side of pita to round out my first time. Overall, the

Nice atmosphere and vibe, with welcoming service. While the staff was transparent on the serving sizes (one skewer!), the price to quantity is steep. The quality of some items were excellent (lamb skewers, fries), while others were bland, cold, or sparing for what are traditionally cheap and easy to make items (chicken plate, maitake skewer, caesar salad). This really feels like a place focused more on the drinks and the dip tasting than the other items as stand-alones or sharing. Overall, for

I am so glad Zara opened another branch on Austin Street in Forest Hills. The decors are a treat for the eye and the foods are a treat for your tummy. To go with the free unique bread, I ordered with mixed appetizers, ribeye steak, lamb chops and salmon shish kebabs, everything was cooked to perfection. If you’re looking for a place that serves incredible food without emptying your wallet, Flame Kabob and Grill is it. The prices are more than fair, but what really makes it stand out is the value — for what you’re paying, you’re getting generous portions of fresh, flavorful food that will actually fill you up. Came here for a friend’s birthday with a party of 16 guests. The ambiance is cozy and cute but I personally thought it was way too dark for a restaurant. I could barely see what I was eating. Worst halal platter I have ever had. First, the flavor/spices was non-existent, there were no aromas or unique spices to make this plate flavorful like the popular cart food in nyc. Second, I got a combo and I can count like 2-3 pieces of lamb, the entire thing was basically chicken. Also, huge chucks of the chicken thighs which was rubbery (tales of over cooking and probably being out). Lastly, for the $14 price point this was overpriced for the quality! German Doner Kebab is decent overall, but more in a “solid and reliable” way rather than anything super memorable when it comes to the main doner itself. The meat is cooked well and tastes fine, but it doesn’t really stand out compared to other kebab spots. What really makes the experience is everything around it. The fries are genuinely a highlight—fresh, crisp, and consistently good, not soggy or overly oily. And the sauces are honestly the best part of the whole meal. They’re flavorful, well
