I’ve been coming to this bar for quite some time, and with the new woman's touch in leadership Kitty Sullivan's has only gotten better. The bartenders are consistently friendly, fun, and attentive, creating a welcoming atmosphere that keeps people coming back. The owner is incredibly hospitable and clearly takes pride in making guests feel at home, which really shows in the overall experience. NFL Sundays are a standout — there are plenty of TVs, and the staff is always happy to switch games so

Walked in and made a joke about only drinking Guinness no water..I was obviously joking. The bartender said I shouldn't serve you then I said bro it's a joke it's 3pm I haven't drank today. I said it's weird a brittish pub doesn't want to serve Guinness to a paying customer. The bartender said I do what I want I don't have to serve you I said it's just a joke dude and he kicked us out..it felt very racist and I have a good heart and like to be friendly but he was just a vibe killer. Bukowski’s Pub in Maspeth is one of those rare neighborhood spots that manages to feel both timeless and refreshingly alive at the same time. From the moment you walk in, there’s an unmistakable sense that this place has character—real character, not something manufactured. The atmosphere strikes the perfect balance between laid-back and lively, making it equally suited for a casual night out, catching a game, or just unwinding after a long day. The first thing that stands out is the welcoming

This was the best little slice of relief after being trapped at JFK airport 24 +hr. Mia was not only super nice and friendly but she made good amaretto sour. I could have stayed all night chatting and drink them. She was truly the best. Thank you for take care of the girl in sandals trapped in NYC in the middle of the snowstorm.

Bar is now a senior center. Bar doesnt serve food. Older female Bartender appeared drunk. There was an older male with white hair who sat near the window covered in urine and smelled horrendous who was completely wasted. I finished my one drink and left due to the smell of that gentleman. I definitely won't be back sadly.

This is a nice bar. The service is good. I didn't have any food so I can't rate it. The Cocktails are good. I had the Jalisco Surprise. It was very good. I definitely liked it better than Thief, which used to be at this location. I'll have to come back and try some food.

The food at this Yemeni restaurant is absolutely delicious, and I’ll definitely be back. However, I had a frustrating experience at checkout. I ordered takeout, and the total was $120. I paid $100 in cash and $20 on card. The lady assisting me (who was Egyptian, not Yemeni) mentioned it would be a bit more for the card payment, which I was fine with, expecting just a $2 or $3 difference. Instead, she added a surprise tip of $8.31, which is about 41.55% of the $20. No receipt was given, and it fe

Wow what a really nice place a little hidden gem. I found this on Top Good To Go. I was worried about the other reviews but this is really great spot. The food is German and Turkish. They have platters and kebabs and make sandwiches as well. The food is all fresh . The server mentioned that TGTG usually gets the orders made incorrectly but that day no orders were made incorrectly so I got a fresh hot chicken with rice. The rice was so soft and fluffy. Excellent value for a great hotel. 10 minute or less walk to most major broadway shows. Somehow is right next to times square and still relatively quiet at night. Food and service was excellent, they also give a one time per day use, generous discount on food and drink if you’re staying the night. The deli and Irish bar next door are great as well. Isla & Co is a pleasant restaurant with a nice atmosphere and friendly staff. My first attempt at having lunch here didn’t leave a great impression because it was very crowded and I didn’t feel particularly attended to. I decided to give it a second chance, and I’m glad I did. The service was good, and it was nice to see how helpful and attentive the staff were the second time around. 👌 The dish I ordered felt slightly undercooked, but when I mentioned it politely to the waiter, they handled

I’ve been wanting to try this spot for a while, but haven’t been able to snag a brunch reservation. We came in on a Thursday, and it wasn’t too busy, so my wife and I were able to grab a table with our toddler. This place did not disappoint! First, the coffee. We had two iced oat milk lattes, and they were phenomenal. Sometimes restaurants have lackluster coffee even when the food is great, but the coffee here tasted like it came straight out of a specialty coffee shop. So, so good. For food,

This circa-1936 Yorkville eatery boasts rib-sticking German grub & plenty of beer to wash it down.
A very fun themed German restaurant with delicious food and great service. Highly recommend the wiener schnitzel and sausage platters. Best bratwurst we’ve ever had and the red cabbage goes so well with the sausage and the schnitzel. The spatzel is a great side as well. Skip the potato pancakes, they are fried well and aren’t bad, but everything else was so much better and portions are huge. Also shout out to Rae, a fantastic and friendly server who gave the best recommendations.

Came in on a Wednesday afternoon after touring the Statue of Liberty. The place is clean, open, and inviting. The service is a bit slow, but the food makes up for it . I ordered the tomato soup with a side of grilled chicken (customized order). It was well grilled and the soup was creamy, tangy, and flavorful. I also ordered the blueberry pancakes which were a bit sweet but filling! The blueberries made a nice touch of sweetness! My grilled chicken salad came out Crunchy and heathy! I orde

Brought my two service dogs in and they loved it! They have a dog menu that had different toppings served over rice. I’d say the ratio is 1:2, with the topping being the 1 and the rice being 2. Amazing prices! Each of their bowls were $8! Friendly staff and very accommodating. They offered water with little plastic bowls for them too. Regardless of that they were very nice and attentive, and there was even live music which i had been looking for during my short stay. Definitely pop

This review is for the wings, not the beer. Best thing about them was that there was so much food! The fries were great and the wings were perfectly cooked. Might have to go for the wet sauce next time! The garlic Parmesan and dry rub were alright. Not too oily but not super flavorful. The beer wall is really cool!

First of all, the pancake is great. And it’s randomly gluten free!!! Such a win. It had lots of syrup, delicious berries on top. A little chewy and very soft. It’s great. I absolutely used to love this bar until the bar owner (I think - Blonde woman) treated myself and my group like pure filth on her shoe during what should have been a very fun spirited evening. Very unexpected, out of the blue, comes up to our table pointing her finger and yelling calling us liars and saying one of our group cursed at her (just didn’t happen?). We recently had my graduation party at Joyce’s Tavern on the newly renovated outdoor deck, and everything was fantastic! This was one of the dirtiest and rudest restaurant experiences I’ve had in New York. Tables were sticky, floors looked neglected, and the overall hygiene felt questionable.
