Rainbow Bakery is a Chinese bakery in Flushing that operates as a straightforward, affordable stop for baked buns and light breakfast and lunch items. The prices are among the lowest you will find for fresh baked goods in the area, with most items running under two dollars. The black sesame and red bean buns are the items most worth seeking out and they have earned repeat visits from people who plan their trips to Flushing around stopping here. The black sesame in particular has a depth of flav

I ordered a philly cheese steak and a whole fried chicken, while I was waiting the delivery man came and dropped off a box of frozen phillycheese and a bunch of other frozen stuff they dont keep here just heat things up. I asked her to cancel the sandwich and she refused to do so they advertise a fresh homemade sandwich the picture in store looks great . she said everyone sells frozen cheesesteaks not just them

If you’re anywhere near this bakery, it’s absolutely worth the stop. Their cookies are on another level-freshly made daily, and you can really taste the difference. My personal favorites are the cheddar, earl grey lemon, and coconut ube. Each one has the perfect texture: crisp enough on the outside and soft, almost melt-in-your-mouth on the inside. Their cakes are just as impressive-beautifully made, not overly sweet, and perfect for any occasion. You can tell a lot of care goes into both the f

It’s been a while since I’ve had a “first bite” as eye opening as these dishes had me. Every dish order was so EXCEPTIONAL I wanted to go back the next day. The fried intestine is INCREDIBLE! CLEAN, FLAVORFUL, CRISPY, OMG MOUTHWATERING. Typically restaurants would try to keep inventory and costs lower and use the same “accompanying vegetables” but they went to so far to charge the types of peppers should be paired with our next dish… The fried squid tentacles! It’s almost the same dish it wa

I visited on Wednesday, April 8th around 5:28 PM and had an experience I hadn’t had before at this location. I was helped by a girl I hadn’t seen before, and unfortunately the quality of the drinks was not the same as usual. The person in front of me asked to have their drink remade because it was too milky. At the time, I thought it might just be personal preference, but when I received my drink — made by the same person — it also tasted off and poorly prepared. Additionally, the boba was ver

Love this bakery! The chocolate bun (croissant?) and the ones filled with coconut are DELICIOUS. Good coffee too! They have great ham and cheese rolls. A large selection of everything. Made fresh every day.

I went here a while ago so I don't remember the exact name of the items that I ordered. It was a fish soup-like dish that had veggies and it came with rice, and the drink was coconut-based. The entire meal was under $20 💸 My Chinese origin classmate from college took me there as this was her go-to spot. The paintings were sure damn pretty and the vibes inside were cozy. I loved that the restaurant was also clean with good seating space. Then the lady who served us our food was super kind 🕊️

*Zebra Bistro Bar – Flushing* The space itself is small, cozy, and nicely presented. Unfortunately, that’s where the positives end. The staff runs the bar like a private club rather than a business. Professionalism is lacking, and the service is rude. Regulars are clearly prioritized over everyday customers, creating an unwelcoming atmosphere for anyone outside their circle. The website advertises food, yet none was available during my visit. Pricing is steep — $9 for a beer and $20+ for a co

I’m not big on spending over $7 for a BUBBLE TEA, not unless it involves wine or bourbon. I bought my lunch from the supermarket next door for $7.62 and walked in here. Asked the staff “Is it okay to eat my meal here if I purchased a drink?” A polite nod implied YES 🙏🏻 Went with a recommendation from the cashier to try the TOP 10 on list. Stop scrolling—this hidden gem on 45th Ave near Flushing Hospital is TOO good 👀 It’s a tiny walk-in bakery packed with the cutest (and yummiest) treats… but listen—GO EARLY because they sell out FAST. They’ve got everything from savory to sweet pastries, hot & cold milk teas, bubble tea, and even cake slices. The food was hot and fresh. Their dumplings taste handmade and are not super heavy- it was perfect! The food is so flavorful- not too greasy or salty. Just right! I love that you have to wait a bit for the food- they make it fresh and you can taste the difference. Lovely staff and the space is extremely clean. I like that they cook the skewers outside so we don’t end up smelling like smoke indoors! Pretty solid skewers place, and you can order from a QR code at your table, so convenient. Also liked their snow beer! The only thing is the beef skewers are on the small side, but pretty tasty though. They also have a lot of different types of meats and innards and organs. Would come back.

I only came from the limited Genshin event and that was it. While I am aware of this place's mixed reviews, my experience there wasn't too shabby: the cashier who took my order was friendly and the tea, while isn't the best, is solid overall. That said, there are better milk/boba tea places in Flushing like Gong Cha, Coco Tea and Machi Machi in Tangram. It's not the best but certainly not the worst in my opinion.

Such an underground gem — Fat Cat Flatbread (the store name gets me) serves the crispiest, Chinese sesame flatbreads! They come in various filling options, my favorite being the preserved veg with pork or red bean. Also, the staff are surprisingly welcoming and even offered me a buy 3, get 1 free deal haha. Will so be back if ever in Flushing for a crispy snack!

I'Milky is a Taiwanese bubble tea and onigiri stall on the second floor of the Tangram food court in Flushing, and it functions as a quick bite stop rather than a destination in its own right. The combination of drinks and rice balls makes it a practical option when you are already in the mall and want something light without committing to a full sit-down meal. The onigiri are the stronger part of what the stall offers. The spicy pork belly rice ball in particular is good, and the two onigiri w

I always buy something in the mornings and have never had any problems before. I just bought a drink—05.18.26 / 6:08 PM—made of strawberry, pineapple, and coconut, and they gave me a cup full of shaved ice! I paid $7.40 USD and feel completely ripped off; I don't know what the cashier misunderstood, but I was annoyed to receive a product with absolutely no flavor or color. I know this drink perfectly well because I always order the exact same thing!

The delivery packaging was unacceptable. The main bag was wide open as seen here during the delivery, and the individual food items were open in their individual packaging as expected. To make matters worse, all the pineapple had fallen out of the pineapple pastry. I am really shocked that my food was left completely exposed during the delivery process.

The plum cream latte is 10/10 The best thing I’ve ever tried! I’m actually addicted. The sweet cold foam on top is amazing! Just make sure you mix it so it can be evenly sweetened. Northern Dumpling King really hit the spot. I got the spicy wontons and the braised beef noodle soup. Both were excellent. The wontons were silky, packed with flavor, and the chili oil had just the right kick without overpowering the dish. Perfect combo of heat and savoriness. The braised beef noodle soup was super comforting. The broth was rich and full of depth, and the beef was tender with a nice amount of fat. The noodles had a great texture too, not too soft, not too chewy. You can tell th

Really well structured restaurant, ordered over the phone and it was really cheaper than any other restaurant, The chicken with broccoli was delicious and has the right amount of flavor, less salt and it's healthier. All meat is halal. We had the beef tripe and chicken gizzard which were just a little spicy not too much not too little just right, that is great because some places go crazy with the spice. We also had the century egg chicken roll dish, which tasted good the meat around the egg was a little smokey so it added flavor complexity. Definitely full of delicacies you can't get elsewhere, especially halal restaurants. Excited to go back to try different dishes, including some vegetarian items.
