In Common NYC was a last-minute find for my husband and me and ended up feeling like a small stroke of luck. I was coming back from a client meeting and he had a break between work calls, so we decided to meet here without much planning. We walked in at just the right time—no line, which I now realize is rare, because every time I’ve passed since there’s been a line out the door. We ordered pretty simply but everything stood out. I had the avocado toast with a side of scrambled eggs and a Lond

Mexican standards & margaritas in a colorful eatery with sidewalk seating.
Found the perfect pre-Broadway spot! Sombreros on 48th St is super accessible and just a short walk to the theaters. The service here is incredibly quick and the staff is very attentive, so the food came out fast enough that we had plenty of time before our show. The food itself was great and the portions are large enough to share. They have an awesome $5 margarita deal, but note that it’s strictly at the bar, which is on the smaller side (around 5–6 seats, first come, first serve). I didn't get

The Galaxy Diner has an extensive menu. We had brunch, eggs Benedict on an English muffin..This came with delicious 'home fries'. I had the crab cakes eggs Benedict. I would forego the crab cakes next time. The plates of pancakes going by me looked huge and delicious, topped with fresh berries. The apple juice is freshly made and good. Their lattés are very good. I got a coffee top off with regular coffee and the regular coffee was really good too! I met a friend and we had a nice lesiaurely bru

Fast-food chain serving chicken sandwiches & nuggets along with salads & sides.
Chick-fil-A delivers an excellent fast-food experience and clearly stands out when compared to alternatives such as Raising Cane's Chicken Fingers. The chicken is the highlight: flavorful, consistently well prepared, and with a quality that sets it apart from many other fast-food options. The seasoning, texture, and overall taste create a much more satisfying experience. Compared directly with Raising Cane’s, Chick-fil-A offers significantly more flavor and a more refined overall product. The

A great experience overall. The food was really good, the server was very friendly and knowledgeable. The food took a bit to come but totally worth the wait. A great place to relax and enjoy your meal. We ordered the tuna ceviche to start. We loved the taste but not for someone that does not like taste of lime. The Covina a lo Macho was amazing. Landmark Irish tavern, originally opened in 1868, with classic decor & a pub-grub menu.
Loved this old fashioned bar, that's been around for ages. When you step inside you feel like you're in another era. The space is big and includes a back room. I love the wood paneling. The Cocktails are good and the prices are reasonable. I'll have to go back and try the food. The service is good.

This place is good. As an ex-californian who is just moving to NYC, I was worried about a lack of mexican food compared to the golden state, but eating at anejo was a great start. This definitely felt like upscale mexican food that was worth the price. The guac was super flavorful, chips were spiced, and the quesadilla (I know) was also tasty. They also had great value at lunch. My only real complaint is that the salsa they provided with our food was a little lackluster.

6.1.26 my 1st time. Dinner was delicious. Staff was friendly and attentive. Back room was a little dark. Overall a fabulous experience. The cod was perfection. The bread and capers hit the spot. The wine selection is wow, wow, wow. And you must try the Nutella cheesecake with a cappuccino. Yum.

All’Antico Vinaio delivers one of the best Italian sandwiches I’ve had in a while. Everything just hits, the freshness of the ingredients, the quality of the bread, the balance of flavors. It’s that perfect bite from start to finish. My favorite was the mortadella with pistachio stracciatella… absolutely bomb. Pro tip: go early or during off-peak hours, lines can get long, and it’s worth enjoying it without the wait.

The handwashing sink was missing, blocked, or without soap, hot water, or towels.

I really liked this pub and whether you’re sitting at the bar or in one of the stylish booths you’ll get great service. There’s loads of decent TV screens throughout and the large windows open fully onto the street which is nice for the summer months. There’s a decent range of food offered with something to suit as a snack, lunch time bite or full meal. Portion sizes are large and fairly good value with fast service time. Longtime French bistro serving classic fare from fixed-price menus in an old-world, rustic setting.
I genuinely enjoyed the food here—the dishes were well-executed and satisfying. However, given that the pricing is on the higher end for a typical French prix fixe restaurant (around $70 per person), the level of service was disappointing and did not match expectations. After a warm greeting at check-in, we were seated at a table that, as many others have noted, felt quite tight. Unfortunately, the service issues began almost immediately. My friend and I made a reservation here before we went to see a show ant the Broadway Comedy Club. For drinks I had a lemonade (that was just ok...but I was so hot so I down it) and my friend ordered "La Tia", which just determined the size, and had a coconut marg. She loved it! Caesar salad was tasty. Bread rolls were hard and crusty but super warm so they were probably reheated before serving. Steak filet tasted too charred on the outside the char really washed out all other flavors of the meat itself. Shrimp and lobster were overcooked and rubbery. Chicken was overcooked and super tough, with lemon seeds all over the plate from the scampi sauce. There was a fruit fly in my water glass but then when they brought a replacement water it had black flecks in it. I didn’t

Coal-fired Neapolitan pizza & Italian entrees feature at this quaint spot with sidewalk tables.
Unfortunately one of the worst dining experiences so far. The starting bread they served was cold and hard… clearly not fresh. When we asked the server if the pasta or gnocchi is freshly made, they proudly said no, it’s all just frozen stuff. We should’ve left right then. Both the main entrees were watery which wouldn’t expect after ordering their “creamy” sauces. Server was right, pasta indeed tasted like frozen off the shelf kind which was recooked hastily. If you’re looking for a fun, high-energy Mexican spot in the heart of the city, this is it. The vibes are lively, the drinks are flowing, and the food hits every time. Convivial watering hole featuring nachos, pizza & American bar fare, plus sports on TV.
This place has been a staple for years, recommended by locals, and it’s not just a gay bar. They have cheap frozen margaritas that actually hit, and it’s only $2 extra to add a flavor. The large size is $10 (and it’s not the one shown in their photos). The spicy watermelon margarita is also really good and has a nice kick. The pop music is fun, but it gets super crowded on weekends. In the summer, it’s really nice to sit outside, though there’s no music out there.

My main issue is that this place is really expensive for what it is, although it’s very good and well presented. The enchiladas were $35. I could see that somewhere very nice, but this place is not. Atmosphere is not great compared to other places in the area. It’s also VERY loud when busy. The margarita was large but didn’t taste great. Service was decent and friendly.
