Venhue is absolutely the best fine dining experience. Dinner was delicious, staff was excellent, chef is the man, and the owners are the best. Overall experience was unbelievable. Bar up front was great for a few cocktails before and after. Dinner around a single table was very comfortable, with unparalleled and unique entertainment throughout. Authentic, delicious Mexican food. We came for lunch and both had tacos which were incredible. Felt like I was in Mexico City. Very good in house chips and salsa verde. I purchased two sponge cakes, and both of them had black mold inside. I only noticed after taking a few bites. This is extremely concerning, as food safety should be a basic standard. After eating it, I started experiencing stomach pain. I am very disappointed and will not be purchasing from here again. Please take food quality control more seriously.

Came here last night for a birthday and had a really good time. Excellent service, the staff were so cool, they even apologized for making us wait for drinks because it was busy but there was nothing to apologize for. Small little place with a big personality and great food! They have a great fryer! The rice balls, fried ravioli and truffle fries were on point, soft in the center and crispy on the outside. No idea how this spot keeps their café(coffee) super scolding hot even when they give you a cup to go. Delicious taste to your pallet. 5 EB&C sells small cakes and large cakes. The slices of cakes are a generous portion. So many sweet treats to choose from. This is the morning spot to get a delectable Dominican dish, drink, or dessert.

This restaurant is owned and operated by a family of professionals that put service first and set a standard for dining on the UES. The cashier lady recommended the Taiwanese style beef noodle soup as the house special, and it was really good. The beef, radishes, and carrots were well cooked - super tender and absorbed the soup flavor. If you like beef brisket with tendon, you should try it. The only thing is the soup was a little too sweet for me, but that could the Taiwanese style. My friends ordered pork chive dumplings. They looked amazing - well seasoned with chili and sauces.

One of the best deals! $1.49 Taco Tuesday, their beef chili on crispy or their “HOMEMADE” tortilla, comes with yellow cheese a pinch of lettuce tomato. Seriously probably one of the best deals I’ve seen in NYC. The portion of beef chili you get is ridiculous. Run by a couple, no frills, great overall experience. And you get a a little of their red salsa, homemade acidicty and bright. 1000% better than Taco Bell across the street.

Ordered a whole rotisserie chicken for pickup and it was completely raw inside. Unsafe to eat. I filed a complaint and never received a response. Save your money and go somewhere else. The photos speak for themselves. Update: After 5 days they issued a refund for the raw chicken. At least they responded, but receiving a completely raw and unsafe rotisserie chicken should never happen. Be careful when ordering here and always check your food before eating.

This place is definitely a bang for your buck! A lot of food for the normal entree price in NYC. The place is small and kind of tucked away in the East Village. I am a long-time consumer of Oren’s coffee beans, from the specialty orange label super fragrant, fruity Colombia beans to Jamaica Blue Mountain to Swiss water decaf. I almost tried everything. I’d say their quality is quite nice, probably only Sey coffee and red bricks from UK can top it. As a roaster, I love them. But the in store coffee quality is quite inconsistent. I had sour, bitter, plain coffee, but never had a good cup.

Ordered the lunch special through GH for pick up. Food was ready when I got there. Very efficient. Nice decor inside. Some tables and chairs but not a big dining area. Shrimp pad see ew is flavorful. Dreadful day at the DMV turned into a better one... stopped in at the bagel store next door and Wow!!! This place is so much better under new management. The bagels are fresh, perfectly toasted on the outside and soft inside, and you can really taste the difference. Staff was  friendly and actually seemed happy to be there, which made the whole experience better. Service was quick even when it was busy. Definitely glad I gave it another try—this is my new go-to bagel spot.

Came here for some rice noodle roll. For reference I got the Stone Mill Rice Roll. I ordered the roast pork rice noodle roll and added egg. Very yummy. Bounce rice noodle and savoury pork. The soy sauce that they got is like a seasoned soy sauce so an extra layer of tasty flavour. The lady at the counter is very nice too and double checks to make sure she has your order right. This place is awesome!! One of the best poke bowls I’ve ever had. Every time I’ve come here, my bowl has been filled to the top. I’m genuinely impressed to find a spot in NYC that serves this much food at a great price and still tastes incredible. The first time I went there lunch wasn't ready only breakfast (got there early). The food and atmosphere (smell) was awesome!! I went this evening for dinner and as expected the food was amazing!!! Oh and did I forget the prices are just as good as the food!!! I live in northern Westchester County and it's definitely worth the drive to the Bronx!!
