Visited Magnolia Bakery in the West Village while in Manhattan, and this spot absolutely lived up to the hype. Came to home of the Rasta pasta and was glad I got to check them out. Aalyeah, our waitress was amazing. Very friendly, attentive and good vibes. The rasta pasta with oxtail pretty good. I had a fantastic time at Gramercy Tavern. We booked a reservation relatively last minute so we had outdoor seating. I'm not a fan of sitting outside. However, the inside was beautiful. Bread service was warm focaccia. Smoked oysters were delicious. We ordered ribs (super tender) and meatballs. I'll skip the meatballs next time - it had the same texture as meatloaf (not a fan). Ended dinner service with peach cake and beignets.

On a recent trip to NYC we got some takeout from here . We got 2 orders of the Loaded Times Square Breakfast. Soft Bar is a fantastic spot to hang out for a bit, especially for non-drinkers. The interior design is excellent it’s a smaller space, but the layout is utilized great. The front features a coffee bar with creative drink options, while the back offers a mix of bar seating, booths, and a lounge area with couches. The staff is great, and the menu is impressively robust. I would recommend the Mr. Feelgood and the Foam Party, but there are plenty of great options to choose from.

I usually get their small fruit tarts which is one of my favorites, so I had my boyfriend preorder a 10in for my mother for Mother’s Day… we were so disappointed. The cake had a thicker than normal layer at the bottom, which tasted raw. Not enough custard to balance out the fruits or the base. BCD Tofu Soup was super hearty and satisfying! You can choose your preferred level of spiciness, which is great. The tofu soup was packed with lots of soft tofu, making it really comforting. There were also plenty of side dishes, and the staff were incredibly friendly, constantly coming around to offer refills. Great service and a delicious meal overall – definitely worth a visit!

A friend was visiting NY and we decided to try something more authentic and go out of Manhattan. After researching a little bit for a Colombian restaurant, Pollos Mario was one of the places with good reviews and interesting menu. It’s unassuming restaurant with good food, very generous portions and cool people. Prices were very decent as well.

I got the seafood boil in their special hook and reel sauce in spicy. Personally thought it was salty so I’d recommend going for extra spicy if you like hot. I got it today. I was very excited because it was going to be a "pasalubong" for my trip to the Philippines, and it really disappointed me.
