Just when I think that I have already had the best bagel in NYC, I try a new one and it makes me question all of them. Brooklyn Bagel is definitely one of the best bagels I have had not only in NYC but ever. Soft and chewy on the inside and crispy on the outside. The staff was quick and efficient so we didn’t wait a long time like some other bagel spots in the city.

My husband was worried about being able to find gluten free options in the states as not many places marked as coeliac friendly/safe. This amazing place had everything fully gluten free and had some fantastic options for fillings. Had ordered a cake for my 18th birthday party with funfetti filling and a nicely decorated outside for 2 day anticipation. The workers were great and worked super efficiently to get my cake done today in time for the party! Super great costumer service and AMAZING cake super soft and perfectly moist! Came here on a Friday morning and loved it. Such a classic NYC bakery, it’s been around since 1916 and you can tell. The baked goods were fresh, quality was great, and the whole place just has a really lovely feel to it. Perfect spot before a Central Park walk too, which is basically right on your doorstep. These are the bagels everyone misses from NYC. Fresh, crispy and soft with any ingredient you could wish for. They also have gluten free bagels that are tasty and that's not an easy find for gluten free anything to taste like normal. The service is always friendly and fast. All you need is a ziplock bag if taking these on the plane. Truly delicious and reheats well.
