Japanese go-to for sushi, teriyaki & tempura in a small, modern space with patio tables.
This is my new favorite sushi restaurant! I ordered the seaweed salad, clam soup, clear soup, vegetable Gyoza and 2 avocado rolls and 2 avocado cucumber rolls and they were all super fresh & delicious. The seaweed salads were nice crunchy and full of flavor, the clam soup was so soothing with lots of clams I might add, the clear soup had such tasty mushrooms inside, the veggie gyozas were in this pesto like wrapping that just went perfect with the vegetables that were packed inside. The rolls we

Funky destination with outdoor seating offering health-conscious fusion tacos and Japanese bowls.
Chill vibes and good food. Prices are great and everything is organic/healthy. I had the warude curry which comes with a little bit of everything and it was delicious. The plate combo is also a great deal as well. There is not a lot of seating though, only a couple of tables inside and outside on the sidewalk. It felt more like an Asian restaurant than a Latin American one though as it only had like one page of Latin American food while everything else seemed Asian.

We got the sushi and sashimi for three for $100. It was phenomenal. The service was top notch, the food came out fast. We also got the shrimp gyoza and tatsuta age appetizers. All delicious. We enjoyed that we got reservations and it wasn’t too crowded on a Friday night. Great location. Will return when in NYC.

Another excellent showing for $Delvin. This guy needs a raise. This was me and my partners second time eating here and I didn’t think it could better. But $Delvin did it again. His cheeky wit and great interpersonal skills have improved my already great view of this establishment.

Amazing experience! The fish quality was amazing for the price. It’s a very unassuming place but once you walk up the stairs and into the restaurant, it’s really chill and quiet, away from the busyness of Herald Square. I got the Hokkaido set for $48, which comes with 10 nigiri, 2 handrolls, and 1 rice bowl. Extremely cheap for the price and paced out nicely. Highly recommend and I will try to be back here in the future

I come for dinner quite often, but I tried the lunch special for the first time and was so impressed!! A decently sized bowl of udon, 5 big pieces of sushi, a whole california roll, and a small salad for only $19??? I ate like a king and couldn’t even finish all the sushi. The staff was super attentive as always and accommodated my dietary needs. Incredible!

“Sushi Damo” in NYC, I highly recommend! Went here yesterday with my friend for lunch, we walked in. The waitress was attentive and friendly. Thank you for the recommendations. Super helpful when we mentioned one of us is gluten free. Delicious cocktails (Butterfly) and mocktails (Japanese soda). For starters, we had Edamame with salt, and shared between the two of us: salmon avocado roll, yellowtail scallion roll, crazy horse roll and Godzilla. Great place to come if you love fish! Was always intrigued with revolving eateries and am glad I had a chance to try this one out while in the Flushing area. Located on the first floor of the Tangram Mall. Seated by host, but seemingly there is a kiosk available for busier days. You can also make a reservation in advance...I can see how a place like this can get busy during peak lunch or dinner hours. Once seated, you can simply choose food items off the revolving line. Each are $4.10. There are also items you can order from the

Yummy chill omakase experience! They run their operation super fluidly and the individual nigiri pieces were super delicious. I really liked the scallop and salmon pieces in particular. We were seated alongside a lot of other people and service was super efficient. In the end it was quite filling and they gave a super cute postcard to go with it. J's Kitchen doesn't just serve food; they serve comfort in a bowl. Between the authentic taste of their masterfully prepared dishes, the gorgeous ambience, and the stellar service, it is a flawless dining experience. Whether you are craving a crispy, comforting katsudon or a steaming bowl of curry udon, J’s Kitchen is a definitive five-star establishment. Disappointing sushi place. Went here for Valentine's Day, and got seated promptly. Ordered a sushi sashimi platter for 2; one of their pricier options. Waiter forgot my beer until after we finished our appetizer, which was a solid 20 minutes after order. The main platter took quite a while to come out; at least 30 minutes between when we finished the appetizer and the actual food, which was pretty ridiculous. The platter included a "chef chosen sushi roll". Very disappointingly, it was a Calif

Izakaya Fuku in New York was such a great experience from start to finish. The restaurant itself is stunning, with a beautiful Japanese-inspired interior that feels warm, cozy, and thoughtfully designed. The lighting, wood accents, and overall atmosphere make it feel both stylish and inviting. The food was just as impressive. The salmon onigiri was simple but really satisfying, with soft, well-seasoned rice and flavorful salmon. The seared salmon salad was fresh and delicious, and the salmon ha

Ramen DANBO in West Village is a small ramen shop that focuses on customizable bowls and a more traditional ramen experience. The space is compact with a cozy setup that fits the neighborhood, though seating can feel a little tight during busy times. The smaller dining area gives it a lively atmosphere, and it feels like the kind of place where you come in for a warm bowl of ramen rather than spend a long time lingering. The biggest highlight here is how much control you have over your ramen. Y

From the moment you step into Bayridge Sushi, it feels like the kind of neighborhood restaurant that knows exactly what it wants to be. Overall I would recommend this place because the sushi is very fresh and good quality. I ordered the sushi lovers combo platter (yellowtail) and it was very filling. I also recommend the gyoza especially during happy hour because the deals are really good for drinks and appetizers. Fast Food done right Is it fast? Yes Is ls good? Yes The service is always great as well. In my opinion one of the best egg rolls around. And the only pork-free one around. Yup they have chicken egg rolls and they're absolutely delicious. Nicely filled and fried to a perfect crisp. The teriyaki is great as well, with a great smokiness you don't get at other places. The amount of food you get for under $10 makes this a great deal as well. Definitely recommend Menu posted for accurate pricing

A good place for small bites the larger entrees a little disappointing, good for happy hour and early cheap drink. We like the hand roll for $6! Spicy tuna and spicy yellowtail, the purple yam fried we good too. Not sure about the Ramen the soup broth had little or no flavor. Fried rice a little bland and gyoza need a little help. It was our first time trying Umiya AYCE after reading all the reviews about it. We came here for lunch on a weekend. We went for their premium AYCE where you can order from their premium and classic menu so you get lots of options to select. We personally loved their cheese baked lobster, Albacore Tuna and sashimi selections and A5 wagyu nigiri. I HATE to do this but I have to stay true to my honest ways of food review... The food was bad...very bad. I'll say the best came in the beginning and the end. Miso soup was 100% amazing. Not salty nor bland. The matcha cheese cake was very good too...however, I didn't go there for the soup and dessert. Rice on our rolls were not cooked well, the salmon was brown in color. They had a special roll costing over $20 but didn't state the ingredients so my monkey self was curious and order it. Cons

Well definitely be a go to for sushi during workdays. Everything was lovely and tasty. Great service. Miso soup side was on point! I only would have liked a but more for lunch appetizer options. Otherwise, fantastic place.

Don’t sleep on Sushi Seki’s $60 mini Omakase. Available from 5-6:30pm. It’s called “mini” but 8 pieces of sushi is the perfect amount to get you a little more than full. The chopped unagi is one of my favorite eel sushi I’ve ever had. They also had a salmon sushi layered with a roasted tomato and the flavor combo is just insane. I love how creative some of the sushi is without taking away from the fish at all. Quality is incredible I loved this place so much
