La Pizza Italia 959 2nd ave, NY NY 10022 I just stopped in and what a good decision that was. The pizza is delicious and the service was great! It was very busy at 11pm. The pizza seems a little heavy on the sweet side, but I can do the sweet thing now & again. If you're in the mood for some late night pizza, La Pizza is a good solid choice! The Pepperoni Sicilian was very good.

I stopped at this alright tiny pizza place in the last few days, looking to grab a quick slice. I ordered a plain which was $4 instead of the $3.75 listed, which I'm unsure if it was tourist tax or something, and the slice came out piping hot a few minutes later. The crust was very thin, even for a NYC slice, and was alright, being a bit doughy at the top. I found the sauce too sweet for my liking, which almost reminded me of the rather terrible Little Italy chain. There was plenty of cheese, an

This is THE pizza place in LIC. Sourdough crust is baked to perfection and oh so dippable when you get there on a slice. Cheese quality is stellar (and not just the mozz - you have to try the quattro formaggi slice). Sauce has a distinct sweetness that tops off a well earned stripe in the pantheon of my personal favorite pizza joints in the city (and I review a lot of pizza). Great service above and beyond, from the staff. Mariah and (I’m sorry if aim spelling his name incorrectly,) Dimonte (they both worked Sunday afternoon). Slick, informal haunt with a patio offering classic & Sicilian slices & other Italian bites.
Ordered back in August for a gluten free pie, service was decent enough, and although wait time was not great, what I was most displeased by was the crust of the pizza, it tasted super dry and hard, and this is coming from someone who normally enjoys eating pizza crust, I could not get myself to eat any more after the first slice, so that was a little disappointing. There was also an issue with some high school kids being extremely loud in the back and the tables being so dirty in the front, so

This was my first time ever going to a Blaze Pizza and it was wonderful! Everything was very clean, process to order was straightforward and easy. I love that there are so many different options for building your pizza! The pizza was thin and crispy which is my preferred way to have pizza though if you’re a fan of a thicker crust you do have that option to choose for your base. I would say the price was also very reasonable. I want to give a shoutout to the Monday afternoon staff, their customer

They aren't trying to be "Instagram famous"—they’re just focused on bringing that nostalgic, grandparent-style pizza to the people. We ordered the double dough with Italian sausage and mushrooms, and absolutely loved it. Even after cooling down, the crust didn't get tough at all; it stayed perfectly doughy with a great, chewy texture. Also, do yourself a favor and don't forget to order the fluffy cinnamon sticks!

Super cool place with unbelievably fast service, good food, friendly staff, and a great atmosphere. My wife and I both got pizzas. They're a good size for one person without leaving you stuffed or taking any away. I had the special that night that had capocolla, asparagus, white sauce and truffle oil. It was pretty great. Truffle oil wasn't too over powering and everything balanced nicely. I recommend.

Lovely restaurant the food was delicious the portions are large. We had two pizzas the truffle oil with mushrooms with prosciutto. Also the sausage and Peppers with prosciutto. And the short ribs with Pappardelle paste. The table 87 lager is very smooth. The calamari fried was melt in your mouth good. The small can be tight so for large groups it might be rough. Please, Google Spinach Pizza to see what it looks like cause mine arrived with a just a bunch of what looked like a frozen quality, tasteless spinach stacked up on top of the Pizza! Just sitting on top, no cheese melted on at all! Not like anything I've ever seen in my life! 😲 I called, and the owner, who was sarcastic, condescending, mean and preceded to tell me that his Pizza is made like how HE likes it, NOT made with whole leaf spinach that

Super happy with this place! 10/10 would recommend for some authentic New York style pizza. They have pay by the slice and whole pie options. What I loved most though is after warming up your pizza in the oven, they dress it with fresh olive oil, basil, etc. Friendly staff. I'd come back here in a heartbeat. The staff really kept the line moving during my lunch hour visit. There was a small mixup in my order, which was fine. (Spinach instead of broccoli.) The fountain drinks are self-service, behind the counter. At the same time a customer was filling their soda cup behind the counter, an employee was (repeatedly) calling out their order for pickup on the other side of the counter: A little tangled. The crust on the slices was surprisingly crispy. For a quick slice lunch, this was a good value. The

Dear Pizza Port Management, I am writing to bring to your attention a very disappointing experience I had with your service on April 4, 2026, around 7:45 PM. I really wanted to love Pizza Secret, but unfortunately, the food fell flat across the board. The Margherita Pizza: The crust wasn't my style—it felt like a lower-hydration dough, resulting in a denser texture that lacked character and needed salt. The toppings didn't fare much better. The sauce was applied a bit too stingily, leaving too many dry spots, and the fior di latte was undercooked and chewy. I had thai basil vs italian basil on my pizza which weird. Abitino’s Pizza has officially become one of my favorite spots in New York. Besides their delicious traditional pizzas, this one —a soft, fluffy focaccia topped with perfectly melted cheese, fresh tomatoes, basil, and a touch of grated cheese— completely stole the show. Score: 8.1/10 This was easily my favorite slice of the day. The pepperoni slice was absolutely spot on—perfectly crispy crust, zero flop, and a great bite. I have a lot to say about John’s Pizzeria, some positive and some criticisms. They have a lot of variety on their menu, and they are the only pizzeria on the block. The prices are higher than your typical NYC pizzeria but when you see the restaurant aspect of the place serving hot pastas and cooked dishes, you can see why they are charging the extra premium. I don’t classify it as a a pizzeria, it’s a restaurant. They also justify the price tag by sending out a healthy portion size, honestly one
