This restaurant is warm and inviting with beautiful decor. I think this was the old famous Mei Lai Wah location and maybe owned by Mei Lai Wah too. We had soup dumplings, har gaw, shrimp crepe, pan fried buns, roast pork and choy sum and they were all delicious fresh, and authentic! The servers were nice and fast. We will definitely come back again 🤗

I think the menu needs improvement or a complete redesign. Way too salty for Chinese food lovers, but there needs to be more balanced flavors overall. I can see where they are going but there are easier ways. Okra was a highlight and I think they can build on this Chinese/Japanese fusion flavor profile. Staff were friendly and attentive but the decor and ambience was a bit all over the place. Overall good concept but a bit too heavy handed on seasoning and simple improvements can be made to make

It’s a small place for quick snacks. We ordered Shumai, the food was delicious and fresh. However, we waited more than 17 minutes for a single order, even though we were the only customers at the time. I hope the speed of service improves in the future.

For me this place is such a hidden gem! I was visiting NYC and had to drop by my fav store bode and they staff told me the designer who did bode stores also did the bar, so I visited as part of my interior design inspo list, have to say the atmosphere is awesome! The bartender is very accommodating since I don’t drink alcohol, absolutely amazing would def come back!

It’s a overall nice tapas. The safira is quite a strong cocktail. Overall the blueberry basque is the best and carlota shrimp rank second. The surrounding is noisy and could hardly listen clearly

Straightforward counter-serve place offering bubble tea drinks, plus cake & ice cream.
Tried the unsweetened prunella herbal tea. The employee was nice and the tea was good. I sat in the common area of the eatery and found an outlet to charge my phone. Very chill atmosphere, pretty simple Chinese vibe. Overall a nice experience and a good spot to charge your and your phones batteries.

Compact deli offering a typical range of hot & cold breakfast & lunch eats in relaxed surrounds.
The airy and elegant French ambiance makes this place perfect for people-watching. I tried the ham and brie omelette, which was generous and delicious, and I also grabbed a couple of pastries from the bakery case to go. The croissants are genuinely some of the best in the city. The service was friendly and quick at first; it did get busy quickly, but it remained manageable. Expect to spend about $15 per person. Overall, it's a solid spot, though the prices reflect NYC standards.

Colbo has the best selection of unique clothing for anyone. They have the best curation of clothing that is both quality, and cool. Super wearable too. I love getting their sunglasses and pants. Also a great way to spend time as they just opened up a pop up bar next door.

As a Chinese heritage New Yorker since 2000: Hands down the best pork bun I’ve had in Chinatown. FRESH! Great BBQ flavor and yummy onions. Soft chewy bread. So good I bought all that was left! All their items individually wrapped. Nice staff, clean space too. PS- saved one for next day and … still amazing toasted!

Enjoyed the Signature handcrafted lemon tea Osmanthus Lemon tea. Both were extremely refreshing. I like that you can control the amount of sugar and ice. They even put a piece of wax paper under the plastic cap of the cup to keep anything from spilling out.

Happened to walk past right after remembering I wanted to buy some food to bring for lunch. Got the roast pork bun and hot dog with scallion bun. The the roast pork bun had too many fatty pieces for my preference though it's less than some other places. Like the hotdog and scallion one though. Bread is moist, soft, and chewy even 2 days later. They only take cash and it was $3.50 for both. Small cramped store, but will def go back to try some of the other breads

Amazing sandwiches!! Really good. I love how they had half sandwiches so I could try two different ones. I got two of their specials and they were both SO good. The prosciutto, burrata, and fig jam had the perfect balance and it was served on really amazing, fresh bread. The meatball sub was perfect for a winter’s day and delicious. The staff were also super kind and helpful. I went during the Thursday lunch hour and had no wait which was nice. Even if I did, they made the sandwiches incredibly

Absolutely love this spot! The signature tahini latte is amazing, they have an awesome selection of delicious baked goods and the people here are so kind, welcoming, hospitable, and warm! Says a lot about the ownership ;) Such a well designed cozy comfy little pocket for great coffee in the city… love the decor and just overall vibe here. Will be back!

Yamada is the number 2 restaurant in the New York Times 100 best restaurants of 2026! Totally worth the experience! Yamada is a Michelin-starred Japanese kaiseki restaurant in New York City, known for its intimate chef's counter experience led by Chef Isao Yamada, who blends traditional techniques with modern, bold flavors. The restaurant offers a seasonal, multi-course tasting menu featuring high-quality, often rare ingredients like king crab, wagyu, and Shizuoka melon, served in a minimalist

Down-to-earth venue showcasing an extensive menu of familiar Chinese eats in a basement dining area.
My fuzhounese friend took me here. She had been eating here for over a decade. The staff here are very friendly, I’m not from Fuzhou so as an outsider their food tastes a bit bland and loaded with carb, but it’s some comforting food to have after you had a long day and really cheap. The back story of this restaurant makes you like it even more.

Staff is super quick and very nice especially given the amount of people they sometimes have to serve. It quickly became a favorite of many of my friends and peers. The lighting is dim and the vibe is cool which is what we all want for a Lower East Side/ Chinatown bar. Also they have a great happy hour deal!

Went to Rong Hang in Manhattan chinatown for dinner. tbh didn't expect much but the food is actually really good! You gotta get the sizzling short ribs and crawfish. The ribs came out sizzling on the plate, meat is super tender. And the crawfish is a HIDDEN MENU item! (gotta ask the boss for it). they cook it with cucumber and cilantro, tastes exactly like authentic street food in Asia. Boiled fish was also smooth and good. My only complain is the portion size is kinda small?? or maybe we just

Stopped by SELECT Kung Fu Tea for the first time and was honestly impressed. The place is clean, bright, and has a nice atmosphere. I got the classic milk tea with boba, and it was delicious. The tea had great flavor, the sweetness was well balanced, and the boba was fresh and chewy. The staff were friendly, efficient, and made the whole experience easy. It’s always nice to find a bubble tea shop that pays attention to both quality and service. I’ll definitely be coming back and would recommend

Solid spot for a traditional Chinese dinner! The space is clean and bright. The food isn't overly oily either. I came for a wedding banquet here, where we were seated upstairs. Our 14-course menu included tons of Chinese dinner classics, like Salt and Pepper Pork chops, a Pea Shoot veggie dish, and Lobster! Everything tasted great and the service was prompt. My FAVES were the chicken soup, which was a delicious, clear broth, and the Steamed Fish, which was very fresh!! The Steamed Crab was very

I miss this place so much. I used to go there everyday in the morning or afternoon. The coffee is outstanding, better than Starbucks, and maybe even better than Bustelo. I asked my ex gf if she thought maybe put artificial stuff to make it taste so good, but she spotted them brewing it and it said Colombian Coffee, my birth country. They have fresh Chinese pastries too, Charlie Siu Bao was my favorite back then. Miss living downtown.

I ended up here totally by chance while waiting for a table to open up at Golden Diner. I was very impressed by the selection of books available and ended up taking home a graphic novel. The coffee was good, reasonably priced, and I was able to sit downstairs and read while I waited. The creators of Tubby Nugget were signing books while I was there in preparation for a meet and greet, so there seem to be events that happen here as well. Good sticker and postcard options, too! I love the postcard

What a great, hidden gem in SoHo. First, the whole staff is exceptionally friendly and helpful and quick to resolve any issues. Jotej was at the front desk each morning and greeted us with a warm smile and friendly welcome. Also, Lara (so kind and friendly also) keeps the breakfast area downstairs in fantastic/clean order and the coffee was brewed hot and delicious each morning. I had such a special experience at Nom Wah Tea Parlor. This historic restaurant, dating back to 1920, truly preserves its tradition and authentic flavors, which makes it incredibly unique. I felt so happy to be there, it’s not just a meal, but a memorable experience. Everything was delicious, but I absolutely loved the egg roll. It’s incredibly soft, made with a real egg wrapper, and simply exquisite. Everything was divine. A truly one-of-a-kind and delicious experience that I would highly rec

No-frills, cozy Chinese restaurant & bakery serving traditional buns, congee & rice noodle rolls.
4 stars for 4 reasons 1. Pineapple pork bun so good and delicious! Savory, sweet and rich! Must try! Crunchy outside and inside soft so good! Non pineapple pork bun tasty as well. Chicken bun was also really good as well! Flavorful and the texture was perfect! Shrimp dumpling was good as well! Flavorful and perfect cooked! Shrimp rice roll was good and similar flavor profile as shrimp dumplings 2. Good portion size for the price point 3. Price is great! 4. Food came out relatively quick

Massive, bustling Cantonese mainstay ferrying a wide variety of dim sum via fast-moving carts.
Go-to place for a classic Chinese dim sum experience. Consistent flavor and service. Got dim sum trolleys on weekends, you barely see that in China anymore. Can get crowded so come early, but tables turn around fast enough. My favorite, pork short ribs, shrimp dumplings, chicken feet and piggy buns. Never gets tired! Great for big family gatherings and wedding corporate events because of the round table, big space and media equipments.

Straightforward Greek cuisine such as seafood & lamb served in warm digs with exposed-wood beams.
Finally made it to Kiki’s and I’m happy to say it was worth all the hype. They don’t take reservations for small groups though so there’s often a wait, but we went at an odd time on Valentine’s Day and were able to be seated quickly. Service was great and the restaurant had a really cozy feel that definitely matched the vibe of enjoying coastal Greek food. The calamari was some of the best I’ve ever had, super fresh with a perfect crumb and the right amount of crisp. The other appetizer we got

Bustling, cash-only joint doling out congee, BBQ pork & other Cantonese food in a basic setting.
My girlfriend and I were visiting NYC Chinatown for a bit of a food tour, and we decided to stop by Big Wong’s to try some of their classic dishes. It’s a spot that many of our friends and family make a point to visit whenever they’re in the city. Like many Chinatown restaurants, you can expect older decor, cleanliness that may feel questionable by some standards, and service that isn’t always polished. That said, people come here for the food, and as long as it delivers, they keep coming back.
