This place was amazing! They had a TV to show the World Cup games & the Knicks game 5. All the drinks were creative and delicious. We tried the Pina Colada Sour, Essence of Wonderland, and Golden Bitter (not pictured). The food was also unique, tasty, and reasonably priced for the portion and area. The chicken skewers and pork dumplings were particular favorites, but the fried cheese and hand cut fries were also great. Overall it was a great place, with a wonderful vibe and AMAZING food/drinks.

Refined, globally-inspired dishes at this tasting menu spot with a chef's counter & petite digs.
Tonight’s dinner at Lufen was one of those experiences that reminds you what true hospitality actually feels like. The very first thing that stood out to us was the warmth and care from the moment we walked in. The sommelier immediately greeted us, made us feel welcome, and ensured we were in incredible hands all night long. That first interaction really set the tone for the entire experience. We celebrated a birthday tonight with friends at the chef’s counter, and I genuinely cannot recommend

Went to Kamisama Ramen and honestly everything we ordered was really good. The spicy miso ramen had a rich broth with the perfect amount of heat, while the garlic ramen was super flavorful and comforting without being overpowering. The chicken karaage was crispy, juicy, and seasoned really well. The wings were fresh and packed with flavor, and even the fries were crispy and addicting. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ A Hidden Gem for Coffee Lovers in Lower Manhattan! I had an amazing experience at Kona Coffee Roasters on 2nd Avenue in Lower Manhattan. This is not your average coffee shop—it’s a place where coffee is treated like an art. They have a unique brewing process that lets you truly appreciate the flavor and aroma of every cup. The coffee beans are sourced directly from Hawaii, and you can absolutely taste the difference. The flavor is smooth, rich, naturally sweet, and unlike any coffee I’ve

A group of my friends and I were visiting NYC and stopped by St. Marks. We needed a quick and affordable fix so we decided to try Anytime Street. It was a no frills, fast and casual eatery. We’ve never tried a cupbop and was eager to try. Adding dumplings and one of their refreshing drinks was the perfect trio. Since we had 7 people, we basically ordered everything off the menu and it was delicious!

Fresh handmade dumplings in Manhattan. The zucchini, egg, and shrimp dumplings were my favorite — super light, juicy, and didn’t stick together at all. You can tell they’re freshly wrapped. We also had the beef with fungus and the spicy & sour fish pot. Big portion, lots of veggies, and very comforting. Solid spot if you want real dumplings and warm, satisfying food.

VERY VERY GOOD TACOS. Had to give them three stars cause if the prices. 2 tacos came out to $10.19... They have a very solid flavor profile when it comes seasoning the meat. Although they did leave a lot of fat on the meat, that could have been cooked off or trimmed before cooking. Flavor was solid. I always enjoy a homemade tortilla over one that store bought. I will give them credit for that. There are better taco options in New York and lots for a better price. I do understand that rent must

My first time coming here to BajiBaji. It wasn't so busy, which was good because it was about 8:30pm on a Friday. About 20 min total wait time. The guy that was on the line doing final touches to the meals and closing the food up, was eating and talking while eating over the food. I definitely didn't think that was sanitary and professional. Besides that, The food was great overall! I ordered the BBQ spare rib tips with pork fried rice. And an iced tea. The spare ribs was flavorful, but a little

Cafe 2 by 2 is easily one of my favorite cafés. I love that they offer so many different varieties of tiramisu, and every one I’ve tried has been so good. They were light, creamy, and full of flavor. The food is great too. I had the fried chicken and rice, and it was delicious with a generous portion that was perfect to share. The atmosphere is also a big plus, with a nice design and a really chill vibe that makes you want to stay a while. Definitely a spot I’ll keep going back to.

Easygoing hangout, famed for its eponymous owner, features pool, video games & a laid-back vibe.
We went here to celebrate a friend’s birthday, and approached the bartender politely requesting one song. He told us “we don’t do that here,” and we just said okay, not arguing at all. We only asked because we saw an out of service jukebox, so assumed that there was a chance they were taking requests. We proceeded to order two beers, in which we didn’t tip because it was $16 for Miller Lites that take one second to open. The bartender proceeds to look and check if we left a tip, sees we didn’t,

This was my first time there, I passed by their place to have my lunch somewhere else. Their shop caught my eyes suddenly and I decided to go back there after I had my lunch around the corner. Their shop was simple, mostly decorated in black. Asked the lady, what kind of drink is popular there but went back to my usual Iced latte with oak milk ( no sweetener in it ) . I love their strong coffee scent, perfect blend for me. The place was quiet and simple.

Irish watering hole dispensing pints & classic pub grub in a snug, patio-equipped setting.
This was one of the dirtiest and rudest restaurant experiences I’ve had in New York. Tables were sticky, floors looked neglected, and the overall hygiene felt questionable. Staff attitude was openly rude and dismissive, as if customers were an inconvenience rather than guests. Simple requests were ignored, and basic courtesy was completely absent. The atmosphere felt chaotic and uncomfortable, not “authentic” or charming. For a city with so many excellent dining options, this place stands out fo

The Boiler Room is one of those classic NYC spots that feels unapologetically authentic. No pretentiousness, no gimmicks — just strong drinks, good music, and a laid-back crowd. I don't understand why this place has a 3.7, it's my favorite Spanish restaurant! The rice is so flavorful, not like any other place I've had before. Their empanadas are amazing! Homey, family-owned pizzeria serving pies, pasta, salads & Italian entrees such as chicken Marsala.
Absolutely Disgusting and Unacceptable! I wish I could give zero stars because this place is the most unhygienic pizza store I have ever encountered. I ordered a pizza and picked it up in a box, thinking everything was fine. But when I opened it at home, I was horrified to find cockroaches crawling inside the box. Love the name. My friend read it as 'Now here", either way it's a step down, below ground NYC hide away gay bar and I get the feeling they want to keep it that way. Very low ceilings and a little too dark. Your eyes may need time to adjust. Friendly enough people once you can see who's in there. It's a bit like the old New York speakeasy gay bars.

This is a Japanese restaurant run by Thai staff. The vibe is quite nice, but overall I’d rate it around 2.5/5, maybe due to unclear processes or insufficient kitchen training and the fact that the food simply doesn’t taste good. (After I spoke to the waitress, she kept apologizing and gave us a cheesecake, so I bumped my rating from 2 to 2.5.) First, the server’s explanation of the dining process was unclear… I honestly had no idea what he was trying to say. Second, after helping us grill the m

I celebrated my birthday at WOAF and had such an amazing time! The only upfront cost was a $250 deposit, which was fully refunded after the party, so my friends and I just paid for our food and drinks. We chose to do separate tabs, but they also offered an open bar option that was surprisingly affordable. They let me bring my own cake and decorate our section, which made it feel really special. 12/09/2025 A review of 99¢ Pizza around the corner on Houston, that this is the best of the cheap pizza offerings in the area, so I had to test that out. Specifically, they said the sauce was actually good and there was enough of it on the slice. I can confirm that the sauce is indeed good, if a simple and a bit raw tasting. There was not very much of it, but it was more than at 99¢. Bigger slice too, with pretty solid cheese. I’m starting to see the spectrum of pizza quality in this city, so w

Really enjoyed my meal at Loong Noodles! The food was delicious, affordable, and comforting. The lamb rice noodle soup combo was a great deal for around $20 and even came with a side dish and drink.
