I ordered pickup for dinner. My son and I walked over from our hotel and picked it up about 3:30pm. I knew that they closed at 4, but when we got walked in we were approached by some guy telling us that they were already closed. I told him I ordered online. He walked over and grabbed my pickup order bag. As we were walking out a gentleman was walking in and didn’t look very happy. I smiled at him and he did smile back. I assume it was because I ordered a pickup order too close to closing.

This place was our last stop on our holiday “staycation” in NYC and it did not disappoint! The food, drinks, atmosphere, service (SUPER SHOUTOUT TO TONG!!!!) were 10/10 on point! A nice spot for a quick lunch. Stopped in after the statue of Liberty tour, it was an easy walk from the dock area. They have a nice selection of proteins and toppings for your burrito, taco or bowl. The staff was super friendly and efficient with the service. We dropped in about 1230 and there was a shirt line but it moved quickly m. They have plenty of seating inside if you don't want to take your meal on the go.

This restaurant was down the street from our hotel. Found it 30 minutes till closing. The food was amazing got the bruschetta as an appetizer the tomatoes and bread were fresh and got the Rigatoni alla Mozzarella di Bufala no it doesn’t taste like buffalo sauce haha. Wow, this was SUCH a great spot. This NYC chain is legendary for a reason. Beware, if you don’t like spicy food, this isn’t for you. Even on the “less spice” option, we were definitely feeling the heat. The noodles in the Cumin Lamb Noodles were the star of the show - so tender and full of flavor. The interior is simple and a little small, so I imagine during a lunch rush it could get crowded, but we were there at an off time so there was plenty of room.

Stopped by Blue Bottle recently, it’s a great spot if you’re in the World Trade Center area since it’s right across the street. The place was pretty busy, but the coffee was solid. Really disappointed with my experience at this location. I asked for light ice on my strawberry açaí but the cup was 50% ice. Also the cup was not filled to the top. It was the serving of a tall in a grande cup. The other drinks I ordered were a cappuccino - it hardly had any foam and it was mostly milk than coffee. And the latte was also filled like a tall in a grande cup.

We came specifically for the steak and it was totally worth it. Cooked to absolute perfection, seasoned just right — honestly one of the best steaks I’ve had in NYC.
