One of my go-to winter comfort meals in New York. The reason is simple: the chicken is consistently tender and fresh, and the portions are generous for the price. On this visit, I noticed they’ve expanded their soup base options beyond the classic herbal and pork stomach broths, now offering flavors like curry and pomegranate as well. We ordered the coconut chicken set for two, which includes half a free-range chicken, a main carb, and a vegetable platter. The pot is served with two fresh coco

Some classic Canes that we love. Rose chicken fingers are delicious dipped in the cane sauce. And the fries. So good. It might be counter to popular opinion but we always skip the toast and coleslaw and ask for more fries. They also have Coke Zero which is a great choice. The staff were helpful and friendly. The location has plenty of seating, even up stairs Avoid the right after school rush, although the kids were very respectful. Just lots of bodies all at once.

Had a great Sunday afternoon luncheon here with family! All the food was home-cooked and super-fresh. Pupusas have delicious melted cheese. Beef Tacos were the best I've ever had! Flavorful seasoned beef with fresh salad & avocado toppings, and tasty crisp tortilla shells were so good! Also, the ambiance of the restaurant is very colorful and cheerful. Highly recommend!

Legit Korean style Flushing noraebang. (We don't call it karaoke!) Beautifully renovated, situated in the best k-town Murray Hill. All the good eats and then another round singing our hearts out. We were so impressed with the guys who greeted us. Friendly and professional, great package options which include singing time, drinks and food. Rooms are new and spacious and clean. The music system is excellent. All the variety of beers, soju, liquor and non-alcoholic drinks. But what makes this place

I recently stopped by this bakery near Murray Hill, and it ended up being such a sweet little find. First things first—parking can definitely be a bit of a challenge in this area. It looks like street parking is your main option, so just be prepared to circle around a bit or walk. That said, once you get there, it’s absolutely worth it. The bakery is conveniently located right next to a Korean BBQ spot, which honestly makes it the perfect place to swing by for dessert after a savory meal. The v

This is a nice spot tucked away on the outskirts of Flushing (though should flag that it is cash only). The place felt very authentic, almost to the point where you need to know what you’re looking for when ordering. Some of the menu translations weren’t entirely clear, which honestly added to the feeling that this was catering more to locals than to a broader audience. We ordered the luffa melon vegetables (si gua), three cup chicken, chef-special styled intestines, fish fillet, and an oyster

So much food for such a reasonable price. The cheesesteak was warm and gooey and the wings were some of the best I've had. Only thing I'd say is I'd install some condiment dispensers. I got 2 or 3 ketchup packets and it wasn't enough for the amount of crinkle fries they give.

We have been eating the spicy stir-fried squid rice from Chung Moo for many years, and we came back again today. This place has been around for a long time, and there’s always a very homey, old-school feeling inside. I believe there is also an older Korean lady working there, which makes it feel even more like a small family-run spot. Their food is made fresh after you order, so you may need to wait a little bit, but it’s worth it. Their spicy squid rice is honestly my favorite one. Personally,

If you’re looking for Korean comfort food in Flushing that opens early, Geo Si Gi is a great option — they open at 10:30 AM, which is rare around here. We came right when they opened and were the first table. This place is best known for their Gamjatang (pork bone soup), so we had to try it. Very disappointed with our experience. We ordered four drinks (mediums and larges) and received all small sizes instead. On top of that, one of the pastries we ordered was completely incorrect. Mahsil is a fantastic location to hang out with friends, especially with their great alcohol menu and super friendly staff. We tried a few things and the food completely blew us away. The Mahsil Pizza was very good, and the Rose Pasta with shrimp was perfectly creamy and packed full of flavor. Their seafood menu and dishes have a list. We chose three of what we like, the flavor and no spice or mild or spicy. Our seafood selections were fresh with two boiled eggs, two potatoes and a third of a corn cob. My garlic sauce without spice was delicious. My friend liked her lemon and pepper with mild spice too. I tried their mayonnaise crispy sauce, and it was the perfect match for the chicken. We also decided to try the roast Orleans leg, and it was huge! I wasn’t expecting it to be that big. I’ve been coming here on and off for many years — this place has probably been around at least 20 years. It’s one of those old neighborhood sushi spots a lot of locals know about. This is Korean-style sushi, which is a little different from traditional Japanese sushi. One thing that makes it unique is they give you Korean spicy sauce to dip the sushi in, which actually adds a nice kick and a different flavor. This is my go to restaurant if I ever feel sick and need some warming, soothing congee to feel better. After binging on too much Korean BBQ, I am a big fan of eating the right food the few days to help with illness. Bonjuk has saved me many times. Mmh! My cousin used to get the spicy tuna rice bowl for us and we’d share it while sitting on a park bench. The taste has not changed one bit. The tuna is so flavorful and rich. The bulgogi rice bowl was also quite yummy. The spicy tuna kimbab was good too but I think I just prefer rice balls lol. Everything is still reasonably priced and was enough to fill us all up. The staff was super friendly, though the shop is a bit small with limited tables. We ordered the matcha shaved ice, which was really good, and the Mochi Red Bean Taiyaki, which was incredibly good and the highlight of our visit! Stumbled on this small Korean mom and pop spot on Northern Blvd. The menu is surprisingly extensive, which made it hard to narrow things down. Extra spicy squid kimbap: honestly not that spicy. Pretty average, I’ve had better. Fried seaweed roll: filled with glass noodles but came off bland. It really needed a dipping sauce to bring it together. Skip! Beef dumpling soup: the highlight.
