I recently visited Xhale Hookah Lounge and had an incredible experience! The ambiance was cozy and inviting, perfect for a relaxing evening with friends. The real star of the show, however, was the Leeche Pan flavor hookah. It was absolutely divine! The flavor was rich and smooth, with just the right amount of sweetness. Low key coffee shop in a highly transited area. There always seems to be seating which is nice. The staff are nice, the music is good and low enough to chat, and the selection of goods is plenty. I was very disappointed with the food quality here. The bagels were far from fresh, and the overall experience was well below expectations. Given the poor quality of the meal, I won't be returning. I'd recommend looking elsewhere if you're looking for a fresh, tasty bagel.

This used to be my go-to sandwich shop. The prices ran a little high, but the quality justified it: generous portions, fresh toppings, and ingredients that actually felt worth paying for. That is no longer the case. The meats now come off slimy, the bread tastes dry and stale, and I genuinely suspect a sandwich I ordered the other day made me sick. I gave the place more than enough grace, first assuming it was a fluke, then wondering whether ownership had changed or supply standards had slipped.

Service was quick and polite, food was inexpensive (though serving sizes weren’t too big, it was still cheap to buy two items) and delicious. A nice hole in the wall for sure. The lady at the cashier even gave me a can of Canada Dry for $1, which really made my day.

They have super filling and delicious poke bowls here!! One poke bowl only costs $12 and there are a ton of toppings and sauces you can add. I recommend getting the mango (which I've never seen in any other poke place before) alongside one sweet and one spicy sauce. Customer service is also great as the clerks are very welcoming. They'll hand you your own paper to fill out what you want to order and all you need to do is hand it in and pay to get your food.

I really like this Forest Hills Metropolitan Ave location. I met the owner Imran once and stayed in touch; he seems friendly and down to earth. It’s what one would expect with D & D espresso but it’s consistent & convenient. I just left very disappointed. A young man put the sign by the door to block us from going in. We stood by door and they finally said to come in. Stood at register for 2 mins and finally someone came out. I asked for Matcha and they said no, I ask for a banana chocolate latte the lady said no again and said only hor coffee nothing else. I got half a dozen donuts and they were NASTY, HARD AND STAIL. No bag or napkins. You can tell they just didnt want anyone there. WONT BE GOING THERE AGAIN!!! On

12/3/25 update: I got a pickup custom bowl today and was extremely pleased. It seems like the portions got bigger? Not sure if it’s my imagination but the bowl was FULL of all the ingredients I asked for, and so delicious. It was $22 incl tax and while normally I’d say that’s so much money for lunch - in this case I’d say this was well worth it for the portions and quality of the ingredients. I come here all the time. And one day I have noticed that they have a mouse trap underneath the counter where they make coffees and bagels. This has shocked me because I thought their service had no rodent problems, but when I have noticed this mouse trap underneath the counter as you can see in the photo where they make coffees and food! This was very surprising. This shows to me that these workers and business are unsanitary. I am very grossed out and I’m never coming here again.

Katsuno is Forest Hills' best kept secret. They only open a few days a week for a couple hours, and reservations must be made in advance. If you walk by too fast, you just might miss the store front. The food is fresh and authentically made by an old Japanese couple. This meal will cost you, but every bite is worth it. I loved the hamachi kama. Katsuno is my favorite special occasion restaurant when I feel like splurging on my birthday.

Best tasting kosher sushi. Ordered a large platter of different rolls, classic and special, for my sons birthday. Everything was fresh and delicious. Presentation was great as well. All my guest couldn't stop raving how delicious the sushi was. The whole platter was gone in minutes. Will definitely keep ordering from them for my events.

Usually, when you go places the fried chicken isn’t tender, but not with this place, I even ordered popcorn chicken for my son and it came out very tender as well as the fries were very crispy. This place is definitely a 10 out of 10 whether you are just coming for you or your children I definitely recommend. In my son‘s words, this place is a 100 out of 100. And the lady at the front she is very, very sweet.

Nan Xiang Express is… fine, but definitely not on the same level as the original Nan Xiang in Flushing. I would like to file a complaint about the service I received today at around 9:00 p.m. The employee who assisted me was very rude and provided poor customer service. On top of that, the sandwich I received was very disappointing. It had very little filling and did not meet Subway’s usual quality standards. A wonderful bubble tea spot. The staff was beyond helpful on what and how to order. The prices are reasonable. The shop is located downstairs in the shopping complex, where you could easily miss it if you didn't know. I got the lemon-green tea with 50% sugar and it was the perfect balance of sour and sweet tea needed for an afternoon pick-me-up. Highly recommend and I can't wait to try it again. 03/2024

Nice little no frills sushi spot in my neighborhood. Glad i gave it a try, it's small but clean. The sushi was good and i got a side of edamame. Would order again. Definitely more of a take out than dine in spot.

This is my favorite sushi place, I ordered both take-out and dine-in multiple times at A Sushi. Their lunch special is cheaper than many other places and includes either a free salad or miso soup. Super tasty, my favorites include spicy salmon, eel avocado, salmon avocado, and more! I often buy two rolls after school as snack and occasionally during my free time I got three rolls for real lunch. Fish is of good quality, no fishy taste, and I never get upset stomach.

I had an upcoming milestone, and the bakery absolutely nailed my cake vision. I brought in a photo of my idea, and Laura and her staff truly made my dreams come true. The cake was delicious, vanilla cake with mocha filling (so yummy), especially paired with a hot cup of coffee. Thank you so much for bringing my vision to life. My family and I have called in a large lunch order for pick up four weeks in a row...and have ordered in the past several times. The order is always ready quickly. To date, never any issues. They separated the hot food from the cold food when bagging. Everything is as it should be with plenty of sauces and most importantly, DELICIOUS! The 3 roll combo is a great deal and we like the Yellowstone pizza...crispy base, avocado, seaweed salad (i think) and your choice of tuna or salmon on top.

Food was good, servings were extremely small, definitely not worth the price paid for the food received. This is the least amount of food I've ever received from a Chinese take-out restaurant. If your hungry go somewhere else. $30+ for 1 person meal.

I ordered a frozen yogurt from SoBol through Door Dash, and the yogurt came with black hair inside it (I inserted a photo). I was so disgusted, I threw it right into the garbage. I called them up to tell them about it, and the girl was giving me a weird attitude over the phone. I 100% DO NOT recommend this place, unless you want hair inside of your frozen yogurt.
