We hosted our baby shower at Panzon in March, and David and the whole team at Panzon were so wonderful to work with! We hosted about 25 people in the back half of the restaurant for a Sunday afternoon event. We were able to do large plate ordering that could have been served buffet style or family style - we went with buffet and drinks a la carte with margarita pitchers out on the tables. Every bite was delicious - guacamole, tuna tostadas, tacos (beef, chicken, fish) and churros for dessert. Da

The calamari was absolutely delicious, especially with the spicy sauce! The atmosphere was amazing, and everyone made us feel so welcome from the moment we arrived. The staff was incredibly sweet, friendly, and attentive, giving us great recommendations that turned out to be perfect choices. Overall, it was such a fun experience, and I loved interacting with everyone. The excellent service, great vibes, and fantastic food made this a place I’ll definitely be coming back to! I recently visited Caffe Panna located in 16 Norman Ave. Brooklyn, NY 11222. Greenpoint BK with my family of three during a casual stroll, and unfortunately, the experience was very disappointing. To start, the pricing felt completely unreasonable for what we received. I was charged $7 for a super sweet hot chocolate that was shockingly small—honestly closer in size to my middle finger than a standard cup. It was even smaller than half the length of a typical straw, which felt absurd for that p

Soft Bar is a fantastic spot to hang out for a bit, especially for non-drinkers. The interior design is excellent it’s a smaller space, but the layout is utilized great. The front features a coffee bar with creative drink options, while the back offers a mix of bar seating, booths, and a lounge area with couches. The staff is great, and the menu is impressively robust. I would recommend the Mr. Feelgood and the Foam Party, but there are plenty of great options to choose from.

This was my first time to a donut shop that wasn’t a chain and it was so cool! They had a huge variety of flavors, I got the chocolate cake and really enjoyed it! Other flavors we got were s’mores and chocolate glazed with sprinkles (go Knicks!). One of my family members wanted cinnamon and they didn’t have that on display but the servers were kind enough to dip a donut in cinnamon sugar and give him what he asked for! They also had bar stool seats which were awesome. It also has to be the most

Top notch food! I saw this place in a Julian Mu video as a must try in Greenpoint, and the white borscht was fantastic. Sour, creamy, hearty and satisfying with really good kielbasa and boiled egg chunks inside. Also the bread bowl was a nice touch but I didn’t end up eating much of the bread ball because of how many carbs were in the rest of the meal. Pierogies were fine. I’ve had better, and the grilled kielbasa was also really tasty. In the meal we had mashed potatoes for some reason, the bre

I had lunch at Five Leaves and it was a really lovely experience. The place has a relaxed and pleasant atmosphere, perfect for enjoying a laid-back meal. We chose to sit at the outdoor tables and, thanks to a beautiful sunny day, it made everything even more enjoyable. The vibe is lively yet cozy—very much a classic New York spot. This Mexican eatery is located in Greenpoint, Brooklyn. Lock in your reservations since apparently it’s extremely difficult to secure one. Restaurant was beautiful aesthetically from the countertops, to the decorative plants hanging from the ceiling. Our server was extremely friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. Have been going here regularly for a long time. Usually pick up a large coke on the overnight shift even if not hungry. The price of a large coke has gone up over a dollar recently. From just over two dollars to 3.26 with tax. This is absurd and greedy. Will probably stop coming here. Sure I am not alone. The next nearest location 5 minutes away on Maurice Ave is still over a dollar cheaper.

I celebrated my 30th birthday at Bouquet this year, and if you’ve turned 30, you know it can feel like a pretty daunting milestone. The Bouquet team made the entire experience feel effortless. They were communicative and game for anything, helping me coordinate everything from setup and decorations to pre-ordering a menu for 30 people. They even indulged one of my more niche requests, playing Twilight on the projector as an ode to my 13 year old self, and pulled together a last minute surprise

Tried Taqueria Ramirez and it absolutely lived up to the hype. The tacos were packed with flavor, with fresh tortillas, perfectly seasoned meats, and simple toppings that let the quality shine. This is a dope walk-in spot where you can truly taste the quality of deliciously fresh, handmade pasta. Every dish is cooked perfectly al dente and paired with sauces that are absolutely delectable. Creative Japanese comfort fare by a lauded restaurant group in a cozy setting with tall ceilings.
We’ve enjoyed two experiences at Rule of Thirds but this review is for our most recent, brunch, visit. Let me start by saying that the space is hip and cool and the service has always been tremendous. The food is, for the most part, very good and near great in some cases. The chicken katsu was absolutely terrific. The bread was soft, the chicken crispy, and just enough sauce. The salad was okay, it was fresh but we tasted very little hot honey. I came here on Saturday for an early dinner at 530pm on a gorgeous dry, seasonably warm day in mid May. I was dining with one other person. My understanding is that restaurant does not accept reservations. When we arrived, there were several tables available for indoor or outdoor dining so we didn’t wait at all and had our pick of seating. By the team we left at 640pm, most of the tables were occupied but there didn’T appear to be anyone waiting to dine. The interior dining area is very cute an

Though I’ve been in this neighborhood 40+ years and this place has been here for 16yrs or so - this week I finally set a date to visit and came with my significant other to enjoy a birthday. The space is super tight. From the tight squeeze entrance into the dining room. We were sat at a deuce right next to the bar. Literally. I think there was perhaps 4’ between a row of tables and the bar, where all the restaurant traffic passed and we were in the loop with every drink the servers ordered from

Radio Bakery is a well-known spot, even for tourists (they don't optimize for their in-store display instructions just so you know), that I’d categorize as a "sometimes" visit if you can arrive early. They rotate menu offerings based on seasonal ingredients, so your experience may vary. While I previously had a lousy, overly salty ham focaccia, this time the French onion soup croissant was amazing — crispy and perfectly savory (to a point that I may consider returning for this). This little diner is exactly the kind of spot you hope to stumble across. The chicken fried steak was absolutely out of this world—crispy, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. They take orders through the pick up window outside and while there was a line, it moves quickly. Walking inside, it can feel small with the limited amount of seating but the drinks make up for it. Not having enough option for true Spanish tapas in the city, we were stoked to give El Born a try... we ordered quite a few selections and sadly, most fell bit short on the flavor scale. Most dishes were lacking just abit of salt, the bread with tomato was on the soggy side and was missing garlic. The Jamon Iberico was on the light side and didnt have that deep rich flavor youd expect from true Iberico. The stars of the meal were the Seafood Paella, the Croquetas, the oxtail and the pork rib.
