I said I had to visit, as myself and my mom are Croatians there is nothing like food from back home. Service was excellent. Food cant even describe but basically like my nan used to cook for my young self proper original Croatian cuisine, perfectly seasoned and even more perfectly cooked. This place is awesome!! One of the best poke bowls I’ve ever had. Every time I’ve come here, my bowl has been filled to the top. I’m genuinely impressed to find a spot in NYC that serves this much food at a great price and still tastes incredible. I’ve been here three days in a row now, and if I had more time in the city, I’d definitely keep coming back for more.

We found this place near our hotel and literally came here for breakfast every day. The food was consistently good, we loved all the greens, and the tea and coffee was great.

I wanted to try a bubble tea in LIC since it’s a good area I assume I’ll fine nice people in any store. I couldn’t be more wrong. The girls at the cashier weren’t paying attention to my questions I had to repot myself one of the (blonde hair) didn’t even make eye contact with me but I see her later being nice to other costumers. Someone drop a big bucket of ice in the middle of the floor… just a very bad costumer service.

this was my first time ordering from pizza hut and the service was quick, which I appreciated, but overall I wasn’t particularly impressed. I got a medium hand-tossed pizza with grilled chicken and mushrooms - the crust was too dry for my taste and there weren’t many toppings. I might try the original pan crust next time. The mozzarella sticks were okay but not especially memorable.

I was staying at the hotel down the street so I came over here to get some slices. The pizza's excellent. The Buffalo Pizza was the best, followed by and the vodka slice. The marinade on the buffalo chicken is great. It's a very affordable place too. The what your pay for what you eat is on point. The staff seemed very friendly. After I got the pizza, I rented a city bike across the street. Then ate the pizza near the water on Roosevelt Island. So much fun.

Omg this is the best Taco Bell In New York. I went here with my friends and we had such a good time that we didn’t wanna leave. The service here is the best part since everyone is so kind and friendly with customers. One employee stood out from the rest which is Thomas. Han Dynasty in LIC is a bit of a mixed bag. Its price is rather affordable, and its environment is spacious and gigantic. While the interior design is actually alright, the table and chair choice is not that high-end or well-maintained; the whole place feels a bit bachelor with college vibes. What a sandwich! Probably *the* most flavorfully complex sandwich I’ve ever had in my life. Got the Cuban torta with “everything on it”. The owner did not disappoint. I was visiting my daughter in Astoria and this place was my favorite place while I was in Astoria! I’m pescatarian, so I’d order tofu with vegetable(no oil, you can ask for that to make it healthier!) and shrimp lo mein and my daughter would order general tso’s chicken. The portion is pretty big, price is pretty cheap and everything we had tasted so good! The lady at front is very nice and I really miss this place!!! I’ll definitely go back there when I go back to Astoria!

I think some of workers need a better training in making sandwiches. Me and my bf’s sandwhich get very little meat - which is hard to be spotted in the sandwhich, you can’t even find it - it’s def not the right portion for subway as we have it all the time. The toast is horrible, the cheese is not melted at all. If you plan to put such terrible worker to work and serve food, you can’t expect ppl to come by and can only expect negative reviews. My go to birria spot!! Found it here at 36th ave near my school. A family run restaurant with a variety of authentic Mexican foods that are fairly cheap compared to other spots. The atmosphere is subtle and comforting; cleanliness is not bad— but also not perfect. The service is very nice and the food is always made fresh. A nice hidden-in-the-wall type of spot.

Not sure why this happened but I went in and the interaction with one of the staff (puja I believe her name was) was really bitter. She had a lot of attitude and was not helpful. Really miss the old management here. I was a regular but probably won’t be going back to this location anymore.

The shop is owned by elderly couple. They are nice and polite. The space is clean and ordering was hassle free. Freshly pressed juices and smoothies are available. The price is reasonable enough. You can get or ask for the stamp card and for collecting 10 stamps for the same size, the 11th one will be free.

This place used to be excellent when it opened. However for the past few weeks I had to wait 20-30 min for food when ordering online. This has got to be a joke where there is 10 people standing in line and 10 people waiting for carry out order plus delivery guys. The employee behind the register ignored me the whole time yes you know who you are. If the place is short handed then organize yourself better and do not accept orders online very simple. Pastries and drinks were delicious. Service was great. We were there and they forgot to prepare a drink. Instead of a quick careless apology, the barrista apologized and gave me a bag filled with their small pastries. She did not have to do that, yet she went the extra mile. They had an incredible amount of beautiful pastries so can’t wait to go back and try more goodies.

My family and I keep coming back every time stop by for groceries at H Mart. Nice cashier lady, always helps us when we have questions.

Terrible experience. The cappuccino was poorly made and almost undrinkable. When I asked them to remake it, they took the same drink back, pretended to redo it, and gave it back to me. When questioned, they denied it. Extremely unprofessional and dishonest behavior. Three employees were more focused on talking among themselves than serving customers. This location seriously needs better training and management.

I hate this place, they forgot to toast my salmon bagel, it tasted disgusting! I didnt say anything because I wanted to be nice and just got another one, its not toasted again!!! A hidden gem. The rice noodles are fantastic. The broth is rich, maybe a little overly oily but I love that. Comes in a heated pot that keeps the soup hot. I'd recommend the original soup base and the beef rice noodles.

I'm Malaysian and let me tell you that this is home to the BEST nasi lemak in the city. The sambal is 12/10 sedap (delicious). Everything on the menu we tried was a banger. Can't wait to come back. Note that the space is a little tight, so plan accordingly. The family that runs this place are lovely.

I ordered the spicy pork over rice—this is actually my third time getting it! The flavor is authentic and delicious, but I did notice the portion of pork has gotten smaller compared to when I first visited, back when the store had just started out. Still, if you’re looking for authentic Korean food, this spot definitely delivers!

Cute little coffee shop. Inside the space next to the target, there may not be a lot of seating inside the actual coffee shop, but large area for seating next door. The coffee was pretty good and the workers were friendly. They also have gluten free treat options, such as Brownies and stroopwafels .

★★★★★ My usual weekend cafecito spot. The team is always attentive, kind, and genuinely some of the sweetest folks in the neighborhood. I usually get the espresso or the chai, both consistently excellent. They also offer oat milk, which is great for those of us who are lactose intolerant. Great desserts, fresh croissants, and a wide range of drinks. One of my go-to neighborhood gems.

Staff here are friendly and keep the place well maintained. The noodle dishes are my usual go-to means items to order. The dumplings are good if you want a quick dumpling fix. I like that the in-house made beverages are not too sweet and relatively healthy.

Two hairs came out of the shrimp wonton dumpling. The broth for the beef noodle feels different (it's clear and white) vs. The Greenpoint location (where they use the real beef broth). Shanghai pork dumpling is dry and feels overcooked. Overall very terrible and below average vanessas. Don't recommend for sanitary reasons

Located right off the subway entrance. Spacious and tastefully-decorated interior. Drinks are reasonable especially during happy hours. I really like how eclectic the furniture is, allowing people to select from various seating options: counter, booth, high table, low table, bench. There’s a nice atmosphere. I’ll definitely make this one of my regular spots in the area.

This is hands down the best Starbucks in the neighborhood! They have the most professional staff who knows how to make a decent matcha (not a coffee drinker). I’ve seen how they arrange an efficient production line to process through the incredibly many customers with speed and grace. I ordered a wake up wrap and they served it to me cold and was also straight up missing some of the food. Also the manager was arguing with a customer while i was waiting for my food. They were being extremely disrespectful to the customer and the manager kept telling the customer that she doesn’t care.

Good sandwiches, good pasta dishes, there service is just never consistent. Some times they do delivery sometimes they don't. Sometimes they close early. This is a huge problem for them. Today is Saturday they should have delivery, nope delivery ends at 3 or sometimes not around. From a business stand point they must be losing out on money. Empanadas! At a reasonable price—in Astoria/LIC! A miracle! Chicken empanadas are best. The beef and egg are a little on the salty side for me. Humble place, very popular with the Latino community in the area. I hope they continue to do well.
