Got the ricotta, pesto and marinera slice… INSANE! I don’t even like pesto much. The garlic knows and garlic bread looks amazing as well. The food comes out quickly and they have soft drinks. It’s definitely a take out place, a counter - I’m not even sure if they have seats. I took it to go, and ate it at Donnybrook at the corner. The slice is $5 but for me it’s basically a meal.

Cute lil' coffee spot for a quick pick me up. Bar stool option to drink and sip and 2tables with chairs outside. Fast service, clean spot. It delivers with a hint of cuteness ❤️

We found this place by chance while visiting New York and it is such a gem. There were so many good flavors but I got salted caramel and chocolate. You can also add toppings to it. All the flavors were good! I could literally come here everyday if I lived here.

We went here for an early dinner after going to some art galleries in the Lower east side area. We ended up sitting inside and it was very pleasant and the food was delicious. They also have an outdoor seating area and people were watching FIFA on a large screen TV. We chatted with the owner Nicholas who is absolutely adorable.

This was a good pizza spot... however, what I loved about it was the mozzarella sticks! They were so warm, crunchy, and absolutely delicious. The pizza was pretty good as well, but the mozzarella sticks really stole the show!

I went yesterday because I was curious about the place and wow! I absolutely love the texture of the gnocchi at this place because it's so soft and pillowy! I also appreciate how incredibly friendly and kind the employee, Mark Anthony, was while preparing my food! Definitely will come back next time I'm around the area!

Always wanted to visit this Mexican cafe. My bf and I both ordered their Roma latte special with oat milk, him iced and mine hot. The barista described it as hazelnut, but it’s thicker than a normal syrup. They were really good and highly recommend. We also shared a concha which was good.

I have seen this restaurant for some time but I never seem to be shopping at Essex Market after it opens. Luckily I mad it there yesterday and it was wonderful. There is only counter seating which at first seem surprisingly high till you get used to it. While you don’t get to watch the chef prepare your food when it’s presented there is a sense of wonder as several dishes are quite beautiful. I love coming here for cocktails. They make really good drinks. Today we had the water lily, which is a gin based drink. The bartender is nice and knowledgeable, the atmosphere is perfect for a date, not too loud. Great for getting to know someone. They do not sell food, but there are multiple spots in the area you can grab a bite before or after a drink. I highly recommend this bar.

I always pop in to this place for a very specific item which is guisao de berenjena Stewed Eggplant. which is my all time favorite I ever had in this place next to the chicken noodle soup which I would get even on a hot summer day.. I like to eat light vegetable based meals that are healthy and they have them, I would just like to see more consistency with the menu and the food quality sometimes on some days the food is fresher than others. Coffee was good On a previous visit we were greeted by the owner and he was very engaging. Gave candy to the kids. Without him the service was pleasant but not a true "experience" . Nice place with a clothing shop attached but not much seating. I don't remember any food or snack options but a full coffee bar. Gives a European vibe, which is nice

The Presa Ibérica is one of my favorite dishes - still dream about that verde sauce. The Casa Mussels are incredibly flavorful, and the cocktails are always spot on. Their take on a Piña Colada is next level and totally unlike anything I’ve had before - definitely give it a try! I also love how versatile this place is. I’ve gone for a light bite and a couple of drinks before going out, but it’s just as great for a full sit down dinner. Consistently fantastic!

The simplicity of the menu was definitely the highlight of our experience. The steak frites were lovely, perhaps the steak was a little too salty but that's okay. The wine list is impressive, I recommend sharing a bottle. Oh, how can I forget, I loved doodling on the table. Some other patrons weren't making full use of the concept in my opinion. My friends and I visited yesterday new years eve for a quite bite. Kim was so nice and attentive to explaining their food menu on variety of things. Shes very kind and sweet person. Mi amigos! This place is awesome. Went to La Contenta first but they were packed but luckily Vallarta had some spots at the bar and everything was incredible. Tacos pescado and Tacos carne asada! Dear Sugar Sweet Sunshine, I’ve been a customer for many years at your original location. I went to Essex Market today to get my fav items: one Bob and chocolate chip pudding. Even though I live on the UWS now, I make sure to drop by yours to pickup my favs. However today at Essex, the Bob I got was day-old, stale and dry. Then I noticed there was green glitter. The best karaoke spot in NYC. We rented a private room and had the best time. The staff was incredibly kind and helpful. At one point we thought we lost a phone, and they immediately helped us search for it until we found it. That level of care really stood out. The drinks were great too. Such a fun and well-managed place. Highly recommend for a night out with friends.

Chomps is literally the most adorable soup shop you can possibly imagine. It’s filled with whimsy, a selection of 4 soups daily, focaccia and corn bread. I tasted 3 soups and decided on mixing the coconut chickpea and the sweet potato soup. It was the perfect combo to dip the focaccia in. I’ll definitely be back to try more soup creations.

Food was pretty good. The experience is really similar to experiences in China. However, it is not cheap in my opinion as everything in the picture costed around $100 including tip. The area is a bit small with like only 4-5 tables and the tables are really only suitable for 4 people to eat at. Service was pretty good as the staff asked us about spice levels and stuff after seeing we brought kids along.

Very cute spot, I've been here for their amazing coffees during the day but didn't realize they turn into a wine/cocktail space at night! I dropped by during their “pu tao jiu” pop up and tried some incredible wine from modern chinese producers and will definitely be back.

The Essex Market is fun! Lots of little kiosks with items and flavors from all over the world! Just had the BBQ Chicken Salad at Sweetgreen - Lower East Side and wow, it was so delicious. I am usually a Cobb salad kind of girl and I love a good vinaigrette, so my standards are high. From our first tasting at Chef's LES kitchen (which was so much fun to meet other couples) to every visit throughout the year, she welcomed us into her kitchen.
