My boyfriend spoke up about her not serving him and serving everyone else that came after him. All he did was let her know he’s there so she could serve him and she got aggressive. Came to have lunch here with my dog and enjoyed every second of it. Food was amazing and the service was equally as great. The staff is super friendly and accommodating. We had a party of 3 and they arranged outdoor seating for us and even adjusted their outside TV for us to watch the World Cup game on. They even offered a bowl of water for my dog. I had their chilaquiles and they were tasty! A family owned business that puts everything into their business!

Ordered on a Saturday around 9. Delivery was quick. The Pollo Guisado was great the Pernil was a bit dry. As well as the arroz con gandules, still both good flavor (this could be due to me ordering late as it looks like their food sits out all day; it’s probably better during lunch but no excuse nonetheless) they were out of oxtails by this time else I would’ve ordered that as well. The plantains were good. Overall a reliable spot for Dominican food.

Score: 5/10 I ordered the BBQ chicken slice, but it fell short. It was pretty greasy and slightly undercooked—it definitely needed more time in the oven to get that essential crispiness. The atmosphere inside wasn't great either, as it was super hot, forcing me to take my slice and eat it outside. I wouldn't recommend this spot in its current state, but with a few adjustments to the bake and the indoor climate, Luigi’s could definitely step up their game.

Walking in, the atmosphere was very welcoming, the music was soft and the staff was very nice. It was a new experience. We had to build our oder before we sat down. It did not take long to get our orders and the meal was very good. I especially loved the roasted seaweed. Will definitely return.

Best pupusas in New York! I used to live in Central America and I love pupusas, but I hadn’t found any in NY that tasted exactly the same until I came to El Continental. Girasol is a great place if you are looking for bread, food and drinks. When I say drinks is your topical aguas frescas, can sodas, coffee etc. I have it 4 stars for the food because sometimes is a hit or miss depending on who is cooking it. The Hawaiian was #2 on a list of 40+ torta options at Don Pepe Tortas Y Jugos so I assumed it didn’t earn silver medal for nothing. Went on a Saturday afternoon and is was crowded, but I wanted a more relaxed spot to sit and eat and found this place. Food was really good. Service and atmosphere were good also.
