Service and atmosphere was amazing! Would’ve totally got 5 stars if the steak was thicker and cooked medium rare. Oysters were pretty small but fresh and easy to eat. Calamari was great and they have good drinks if you like different varieties of aperol spritz.

The mango shaved ice was disappointing. The ice was coarse and crunchy rather than light and smooth. It appeared that canned mango was used, and the juice from the can made the dessert turn soupy very quickly. Once we tried to mix in the condensed milk, the dessert started overflowing from the bowl because there was so much liquid. I would not recommend this place for dessert.

They have a great lunch special, $19.95 for the vegetarian option, which comes with an appetizer, an entree, nann, daal, and rice. My lentil soup and chana masala were more spiced than I usually get at an Indian restaurant in the city - it tasted homemade. The service was great as well. They were attentive and accommodating to what I needed. Regarding the bathroom, you are able to wash your hands in the back past the kitchen. I would come again for sure.

Small, pink shop for ice cream scoops also doubling as a dimly lit speakeasy with cocktails.
I would rate 5 Stars for the Speakeasy setup and the look and feel of the place. But once you take away the Speakeasy concept and the Decor, it's an average Cocktail Lounge at best. Music they were playing was too techno and trendy which didn't match the ambience. Drinks were watered down but they did look cute. Overall this place and the drinks they serve are great for Instagram Reels but if that's not what you are looking for then prepared to be disappointed.

Traditional Hungarian dishes, crêpes, strudels & wines offered in quaint environs.
Visited this small, charming spot , that has seating for maybe 8 to 12 people ( best suited for an intimate meal). The focus here appears to be primarily on the bakery, with Hungarian cuisine as a secondary offering. On our visit, the advertised Hungarian wine wasn't available, though a house red and house white (both French) were on offer. The korozott appetizer was a highlight a blend of feta and cream cheese with onions and paprika, served in a bell pepper and accompanied by fresh red onion

This place was awesome! We had the lunch specials. Very generous portions and well presented. Beef shawarma platter was huge! Baba gannoush was best I’ve had. Beef was tender and perfectly seasoned- delicious. The lentil soup was perfect - the taste and color. These guys are masters of middle eastern seasoning - this is the magic to this restaurant. Everything tasted so good. The pita made in house and comes out steaming. We were there at 2pm - no wait. Highly recommend this resta

Oyishi Sushi on 80th is the best hole in the wall you’ll find on the Upper East Side. It’s well known for takeout omakase, but the real magic is eating there fresh. The space is tiny, maybe six or seven seats inside, plus a couple of outdoor tables, which makes it feel even more special. The staff is incredibly warm, but the star is the fish. The otoro is mind blowing, the seabass is perfection, and everything tastes unbelievably fresh. It’s simple, no frills, and just so good. If you know, yo

American comfort food & a casual environment are the lures of this veteran neighborhood eatery.
I was really pleasantly surprised by this place. I wanted good breakfast and this place delivered absolutely. I got the American French toast with bacon instead of sausage, it comes with a berry syrup and cut berries that made this dish magical. The potato pancake was really good! The bacon was lackluster and cold but everything else was so great I didn’t remove points for it. My boyfriend got the chicken schnitzel sandwich with a sunny side egg on it that he really enjoyed and recommended peopl

We arrive at 6:40 and they sit us in a small room in t was ok. The service was ok , pastas were delicious , drinks meh and the coffee horrible . I won’t come back , I had high expectations from this particular speakeasy but Chicago has better food than this . Tiramisu mediocre at best . I won’t come back

Low-lit, contemporary eatery offering Chinese & Thai mains, plus sake & beer.
I found this amazing restaurant via Google Maps & I’m glad I did! Ordered through Grubhub & everything arrived warm, freshly made & with plentiful amounts! Yum! BBQ Spare Ribs were amazing in taste & fully cooked, not too soft, just right! Scallion pancakes arrived very crispy & not soggy like others I’ve had! Pork fried rice was seasoned perfectly! They also accommodated my no egg request in the rice for an added bonus! Dumplings were delicious with an adequate amount of juicy pork filling! Bon

Longtime Upper East Side Irish bar & restaurant with a low-key feel & a grown-up following.
I absolutely used to love this bar until the bar owner (I think - Blonde woman) treated myself and my group like pure filth on her shoe during what should have been a very fun spirited evening. Very unexpected, out of the blue, comes up to our table pointing her finger and yelling calling us liars and saying one of our group cursed at her (just didn’t happen?). Saying we haven’t ordered enough drinks and food (we spent $200+ in 10 mins of the game starting) and spent easily more PP than our adj

I went to Rodney’s Comedy Club this week and had a fun night overall. The area is great, the show was enjoyable, the lineup was good, and it felt like decent value for money. It was also nice seeing some of the comedians hanging around after the show. It’s a shame because I would have given this place 5 stars, but the service during the show really took away from the experience. I understand the waitstaff have a job to do, and this is probably more of a management/system issue than just the sta

Great vibes. Excellent treatment from the wait staff. After we were seated outside, we chose to move indoors, sat by the bar. Came for brunch. Everyone loved what they ordered. This establishment has plenty of indoor and outdoor seating as well as bar counter seating.

The toffee miso pancake is one of the best I’ve ever had, and I also loved the egg and bacon jam sandwich! Also had the California Benedict which was tasty. Definitely a gem on the UES and my new go-to brunch spot. It’s clean and comfortable inside, and the service was excellent!

Cozy & elegant dining space serving traditional & innovative Shanghainese dishes, including dim sum.
New review: We decided to give this another try and not, they did not disappoint. In fact, we had a great time there. Arrived before the dinner crowd so felt like the whole place to ourselves. We just ordered the safe but comforting meals: Shanghai noodle with chicken and Shanghai fried rice with pork. They tasted authentic and service was somehow better this time. Maybe because it wasn’t that busy. Or maybe because it’s a very nice day outside. Last time we were there it was dreary and cold. An

Presentation: beautifully presented in high quality box and bag. Sushi was neatly placed inside packaging. Sushi and nigiri’s were nicely decorated and looked fresh. Value: price is very reasonable for the size of the nigiri and sushi rolls. The rolls were surprisingly large (I thought they would be very small but look at the comparison between the roll and my hand) 🙌🏻 They were also very generous with their soy sauce/ginger/wasabi. The chopsticks were VERY high quality. You can even wash and

This wine & beer bar with an intimate ambiance offers a seasonal, locally sourced American menu.
Made a reservation for 2 on the morning/day (a Friday) of via their website, and got an email confirmation around noon. The place is small but they have overflow seating at their sister restaurant next door which has almost the same interior. They accept walk-ins too. Note: they only have wine, beer, and non-alcoholic drinks. Ordered the mac n cheese, paella, and hamburger/fries for two people, and we ate almost all of it! One of the best Korean Fried Chicken spots I know! Boong's is actually so bomb. 10/10 would recommend. The spicy snow dry rub is actually spicy for once, and the soy garlic and spicy soy dipping sauces they offer are both so delicious. I enjoyed this meal way more than I thought I would. I would say the biggest gripe about this spot is it was so expensive for only 4 boned wings and fries. Over $18 for 4 wings and that's because it was the lunch special. Their wings don't normally come with fries

Longtime counter-serve joint doling out large slices from many varieties of pies, plus hearty subs.
Slice was a bit doughy and too heavy on the cheese. But that does make it very filling. Quick service and plenty of open tables. Overall it's not a bad slice but not something I would go out of my way for. Two slices in the picture, I had the plain.

The best cozy and delicious coffee shop on the UES! I stumbled on this gem walking around the neighbourhood. The coffee is so smooth, and they were super friendly. There’s a good amount of seating indoors and outside. Fridge is stocked with goodies for kids, like good quality juices - great spot for families. Best of all, they have soy milk. It’s rare to find cafes that offer soy, and their quality made me value this place over other coffee spots in the area. Will be back and will let family and

I had such a wonderful experience, The food was absolutely delicious every dish was full of flavor and beautifully presented. You can really taste the quality of the ingredients. The desserts were just as impressive — perfectly balanced, not too sweet, and a perfect way to end the meal. The atmosphere is warm and elegant, and the service was friendly and attentive without being overbearing. It’s definitely one of my new favorite spots in New York. Highly recommend! 🍷✨
