Food was yummy! The pancakes wasn’t show stopping, but the quiche was scrumptious. The breakfast bowl had yummy avocados, but otherwise tasted very healthy. Place was relatively empty, but we came for breakfast so makes sense.

Retro kitschy decor sets the scene for traditional diner fare from egg creams to pork chops.
In line with what I'd expect from a diner! Relatively bright interiors, quick service, and noise levels on the quieter side. What we ordered: Mexican Frittata ($17.95), Tex Mex Scrambled ($17.95), and Strawberry Pancakes ($16.95). Unlimited coffee pours from $3.75! Javier our server was quick to take our order and was attentive. Great spot in the UWS area if you are looking for a quick bite.

I was quite surprised by the quality of this place. I enjoyed my meal so much. The short rib is great. I loved the service - very attentive and caring. I love the decor of the place - very nostalgic, yet modern. They have a lovely unsweetened iced tea that has a great taste - ugh I love tea!

Wow, what an incredible experience. First the chicken was unbelievable, hard to go back to your own cooking after that. It was flavorfull, juicy and cooked to perfection. Second the service was great, a true New York classic. The staff made us feel right at home. Will be coming back. You can’t beat the price either.

I ate at Bad Roman last night after seeing it go viral on TikTok, and I fully expected it not to live up to the hype but I was completely wrong. It was absolutely fabulous from start to finish. The atmosphere is intimate and upscale, and I really appreciated the overall design of the restaurant. Every detail feels intentional, even the ladies’ bathroom was beautiful and thoughtfully designed. The food was incredible, and the drinks were creative and unique. Fantastic service does not make up for the stale , chewy, and dry tortillas, the recooked churros, and the dirty tables. Ordered the Tacos al pastor (super dry on top of an already dry tortilla), Tacos Frescas (definitely fresher, with good seasoning, which helps offset the dry tortilla), Tacos Al Barilla (Hearty meat with a lot of oil, nicely balances the chewiness of the tortilla), and the Shrimp Quesadillas (seems like the tortilla is more freshly made here). Churros may have been the worst e

El Mitote was such a great find! The food was flavorful, fresh, and absolutely delicious. What made the experience even better was the exceptional customer service. They made sure we felt welcomed, checked on us often, and kept everything flowing smoothly. It’s a must-visit whether you’re going for Taco Tuesday or just craving amazing Spanish cuisine.

I was disappointed with how long food took to come out and restaurant was not as busy. Service could had been more on point instead of us asking for status on food, being seated next to the cold entrance when back of the restaurant was open. Food wasn't that great. It felt very much like take out. Grilled chicken was more rubbery and hard. Enchiladas were not even spicy as it was suggested by waitress and menu. Steak request was not acknowledged. Minimalist eatery for kosher Israeli vegetarian fare, specializing in many varieties of hummus.
My partner and I love going to Hummus Place. The food is absolutely delicious, and the last time we went, we were practically silent through the meal. We normally chat and joke a lot when we eat together, but we were both so captivated by the food that we were too busy enjoying it to talk. The hummus is outstanding, and our favorite is the mushroom hummus. My partner loves the grape leaves, and I love the falafel, which is probably the best falafel I’ve ever had. It is amazingly light, flavorfu

A cozy venue with clean sight lines & good sound featuring jazz, blues & Latin acts, plus eats.
The music is good here. However, the entrée minimum makes little sense when guests may already be spending an equivalent amount on appetizers, desserts, and drinks. My husband ordered the New York strip steak ($68) with a side of fries, and we both ordered drinks. I wanted to order an appetizer and dessert, but I was told that I was required to purchase an entrée. To make matters worse, the entrée I ordered—the “roasted” vegetable terrine—arrived cold. I used to live around the corner from here. I actually came on their opening day, back in ‘21 & was a regular for the entire year. What happened to my review? 🧐 ⏫Their fish game is solid. Anything you order that ends up on a bagel never disappoints. Is it better than BG? Let’s not get crazy, but it’s a great option. Speaking of options… ☝🏽The pastrami is very good. It’s no PQ (are they reopening?) but it’s better than BG’s version. Which makes it #2 on the UWS, imo. Carnegie deli pastrami li

Watering hole that's filled with locals who come for drinks, sports on TV & a big pub grub menu.
Great atmosphere and vibe in this long-time upper west side neighborhood hangout. The premier spot for socializing in the area. Lots of regulars. Evenings are always busy and buzzing. Great selection of beers, wines, ciders and cocktails. Also lots of sports up on the wall. They have game nights. Surprisingly good pub food. Super fun place for parties.

I ate here twice on our visit since it was closest to the hotel. Both nights were really crowded, but the food came out quickly. Everyone was in their own little world, so I never struck up a conversation with anyone other than the bartender. He was cool. Maybe that's a NYC thing? We tried the steak sandwich, burger, and wings. All were good. My favorite was the wings. Definitely worth a stop if you're in the neighborhood.

I was visiting NYC and staying at a nearby hostel, and I stopped into this McDonald’s several times for breakfast. Although there are four self‑serve kiosks, only one was working during each of my visits. Seating inside is very limited, and the restaurant was quite messy — the floors were sticky and the dining area didn’t seem well maintained. Overall, I wouldn’t recommend this location.

Overall, a good experience. Some of the dishes were spicy, but that's expected for Thai, so remember to request spice level. The service is very cordial and friendly. I love the interior atmosphere, very modern and spacious. One thought is that I felt they served the main dishes, even though we were not done with the appetizers. But for a very modern spacious Thai restaurant in this neighborhood, this is a very welcome addition.

Was visiting for the weekend and a friend brought me to the Amsterdam location - we had been trying to figure out what to eat for dinner since about 10am and I’m so glad we came here! The pastrami bombs were so so so good, and the schnitzel wrap was 10/10. Schnitzel is one of my favorite things ever to eat at kosher restaurants and it did not disappoint. Upscale, intimate jazz club in Lincoln Center serving Southern-accented fare & themed cocktails.
Visited for the first time to watch Bill O’Connell Quintet featuring Randy Brecker perform live, and it was an incredible experience. The combination of world-class jazz and the stunning nighttime views of the Manhattan skyline made for the perfect end to a birthday celebration. The entire set was phenomenal, and every solo was a highlight. I ordered an Iced coffee here, and it was handed to me by a woman who smiled. After a few sips, I sucked up a larger-than-normal piece of paper through my straw that looked like it was from a napkin or receipt. I threw the coffee unfinished in the trash, and it looked almost full. I will not go to that location ever again. The paper could have been from the workspace or maybe contaminated from the floor, who knows. It was gross, and I hope it does not happen to anyone else.

Neighborhood standby offering classic Italian meals & weekend brunch in a cozy, casual atmosphere.
A local, cozy Italian restaurant that’s been around for some time. It’s a hit-or-miss kind of place though. I’ve had very different experiences over the years. The last time I visited was for the lunch prix fixe and sat at the bar. The portions are good size and the food was pretty bland. The bartender was pretty friendly and laid back. Worth checking out if you are in the neighborhood.

It is a late night pizza run after Shakespeare in the park Romeo and Juliet. We went with what they had left. Meat slice, veggie slice and buffalo slice. The trifecta. Very delicious and super filling. Had to take a box home. We like how there is fountain soda. Service is very friendly and welcoming. Ok they are sweeping up. It’s almost 11 we should get up and go.

Had such a great time here! The vibe is sophisticated and still super warm and welcoming. The staff is amazing, and Joe, the owner, is always smiling and genuinely attentive, which makes a big difference. Food and drinks were absolutely delicious. Special shoutout to Michael, our waiter — impeccable service! He was friendly, fun, and really on top of everything. Honestly, this place is a must in NYC. I have long been a loyal patron of Bread’s Bakery. They offer a variety of delicious breads, pastries, salads, dips, vegetables, beverages and more made with high quality ingredients. They are a really valuable contribution to the lincoln square neighborhood with a healthy option for breakfast, lunch, or dinner for residents and employees working nearby. Their menu offers a variety of options for individuals with different dietary needs and preferences. They have always had an A safety rating.

Rustic Italian eatery serving small plates & pizza in a main-floor wine bar or a cozy upstairs room.
Tried a Delivery tonight but despite being relatively close to my house (only a few blocks away) and having ordered the meat cooked “Rare” and an appetizer of 3 cold cuts (that’s why I know the order didn’t take long in the making) the food arrived at my house after almost 1 hour! So I don’t recommend delivery. I’ve had a steak that wasn’t bad but definitely not “rare” and lacking salt and it came with a side of what I first believed was arugula but it was something green right out of the bag

Stopped by here to work and have lunch. The bar area was open but so was majority of the restaurant. It was oddly humid inside. Hotter than it was outside. They only had the front doors open which you’d feel some breeze coming in but it was still so stuffy and stale. Food was excellent, staff wasn’t too happy. Not sure if we just caught everyone before the afternoon rush, or some weird period where they shut before early dinner? It wasn’t the friendliest atmosphere.

Went for their winter restaurant week (muni only available on Friday for lunch). It is definitely great value , portion to price wise. A large square-footage diner with a bar counter, an old timey feel, and some good pancakes. A friend and I got two Egg dishes (an Omelette and Eggs), and an order of Chocolate Chip Pancakes, and the cakes were by far the standout. Also didn’t love the house coffee.

Local mini-chain providing hand-rolled bagels, spreads & smoked fish in modest digs.
At Zucker's, they like to do it the old fashioned way, hand rolled and kettle boiled. This is a true New York bagel and often a winner of awards. I think anyone can find something they like here with a big menu for breakfast and lunch, including sandwiches on bagels, wraps, or artisan breads, soups, salads, and smoked fish. Personal a big fan of any literary bars, even if they don't have any books. This place is definitely a charming Irish pub, with both bar and table service. Will say that if you are ready for your drink and at a table its easier to order if at the bar and they'll bring it over. Love all the clever names they have for drinks / cocktails and fairly priced for NYC. I found the 500 Guinness wall cute. I had never tried Georgian cuisine before, and I was pleasantly surprised by the incredible flavors in every dish. Everything we ordered was very good and tasty. The red spice level numbers in the food descriptions were much tamer than we'd have expected, so anyone into spicy food should divide those numbers in half. The lo mein was nice and medium firm. Supper club with Jazz Age-themed decor, a long cocktail list & nightly live music performances.
Had this on my to go list and I really enjoyed it. It gets a lot of hype and rightfully so for their great cocktails, small bites and the best part: the live music. There's plenty of room and comfortable seating throughout. Prices are reasonable especially during their happy hour. Only was note for me was their happy hour wine. It was clearly bargain grocery and was tough to stomach. There's definitely better house and happy hour is wines on the city I'd choose over this spot.
