So I’ve been coming around every other weekend bc I have a job site I service. Ngl, Gabriel’s nonchalant & cool energy is what I need when I come in. I definitely value their vibe because the tired eyes behind my glasses wants to see peace not hyper energy. Also! -Thanks for prepping my two croissants & americano, man. I appreciate the way you starting my day 😎😌🔥

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ If there is one restaurant in New York City that completely changed my perception of vegan cuisine, it is Shosh. Without a doubt, this is the best vegan restaurant I have ever experienced. Every dish that arrived at the table was beautifully crafted and bursting with flavor. The eggplant carpaccio was simply divine—delicate, perfectly balanced, and so delicious that I wished it would never end. The fried lettuce was a delightful surprise, offering an incredible combination of textures an

The most recent one star really didn’t reflect the bar’s atmosphere. To the guy who got a “skunked” PBR… I watched him get said beer and him and his friends broke a glass from slamming glasses on the table. Also proceeded to remain in the bar for an hour after writing the review. The staff at the Tavern are superb, this is a beautiful bar to celebrate community and the Knicks. Their guiness pour is something to be proud of, I get guiness around the city and this is one of the better ones. Shout

Everything is fantastic: the food, the service and the sake. Some of the freshest and most delicious sushi I had this year. Really appreciated the warm service as well. I would gladly return if it just wasn't so darn expensive. There are other omakase restaurants in New York City that now offer a similar experience at a much lower price point (easily half of what Kosaka charges). Plus, you must pay up front when you make the reservation. Additionally, it's worth mentioning that this is a very sm

The meatloaf and tartare were both amazing. The interior design is beautiful and exactly my taste very stylish and cozy at the same time Only thing I’d improve is the wine glasses, since I really appreciate good glassware with wine. Also didn’t fully understand why happy hour is only for the outdoor area But overall, the food was excellent and I’ll definitely be back

Rating: 7/10 Date Visited: 1/16/2026 I ordered the Classic Smashed Double ($12). The burger flavor itself was great as the patty went well with the onions, pickles, and smashed sauce. The bun was great too. My only complaints are that it is a bit pricer compared to other places and the bun was too small for the patty, so not every bight was even. I like that their menu includes different variations of their smashburger. Overall, I would recommend this place if you’re in the area and want a good

This was our second time visiting Daily Provisions, but first time in this branch specifically. We came here on a Sunday morning, and tried to arrive quite early and before they run out of their famous maple crullers, since on our first visit on a different branch we weren't really in the mood for a sweet pastry, but this was our last morning in New York and it was a must eat on our bucket list. When we arrived, luckily they still had the maple cruller so we had one of these, and another crull

Ended up here last night with a group of friends, and we were initially enjoying ourselves until the bouncer came in and started micromanaging how many people were at tables and where people could stand (in an entirely full bar). When he wasn't doing that, he was openly hitting on patrons or shoving tables around. Never seen a bouncer like that in my life, but our group of about ten felt like he was being weirdly aggressive so we took our money elsewhere for the next few hours. Coulda been a gre

In a chaotic, fast-paced, and noisy city like New York, this place is honestly a calm and quiet coffee shop with a really nice vibe. I got a caramel latte, but I wouldn’t hype up their coffee too much it was average, maybe even slightly below average for me. However, it’s definitely a great spot for anyone who wants to bring their laptop and get some work done

My onion bagel with lox and light scallion cream cheese was delicious and very filling. The girl at the register was awesome and the honey-vanilla-hazelnut latte she suggested was 10/10. We walked in on a blustery afternoon pre-theatre just by chance. This tiny village café has the most flavorful gelato we've ever had, and delicious coffee too! 36 flavors, about half of them vegan, and the owners encourage you to mix and match! We had the Banana Bread combined with the Dark Night, a vegan dark chocolate that was sumptuously thick and rich. If you find yourself in the area of Beeckman and Christopher in the Village, we highly recommend stopping in here!

Easily one of my favorite beer stops in the city. The draft list was stacked—thoughtfully curated with a ton of range across styles and a really strong mix of producers. Everything I saw on tap felt intentional, with quality and freshness clearly prioritized. I didn’t take any cans or bottles home this time, but the to-go selection still caught my eye: a deep bench of well-chosen options, including some especially intriguing picks from local breweries and standout East Coast producers. Rosecrans is one of those rare places that makes New York slow down for a moment. Tucked away from the city’s constant energy, this charming coffee shop feels like a small escape in time. The atmosphere is calm, warm, and inviting—the perfect place to relax, read, work, or simply enjoy a quiet morning. This is a cute place, but the experience was ruined by lack of service. As soon as we walked in the host/waitress seemed annoyed to greet or seat us even though the restaurant was 80% empty. She was rude throughout the entire service, she clearly didn’t want to be there. On top of that their payment systems starts the tip setting at 20%. A Georgian cafe that serves coffee during the day and becomes a wine bar/cocktail spot at night. They serve some special Georgian dishes as well as having a few other more basic dishes like bruschetta, nuts, and spinach dip. The cocktails were decent - we did enjoy the espresso martini, and the vibe is quite fun as it’s a small triangle shop in a busy neighborhood. My fiancé and I were in town for a long weekend and came across Sullaluna when looking for somewhere that made cornetti. This restaurant is fantastic - very cute concept with the bookstore element, works well as a cafe and as a proper restaurant. Their coffees and matcha were good quality and well made - they make a true short espresso - and their food is delicious. We had both cornetti (the one with marmalade and the one with hazelnut chocolate cream) and then came back on Sunday for brunch and

I work in the area so I frequent this location often. But I think the chasu pork is some of the most consistent quality I’ve received. I have tried a few different bowls off ramen, but I will say, the simple shiro-miso ramen always hits the spot every time. Highly recommend!

This place is beautiful. Presentation great. This café has been going viral on social media for the blackberry pie matcha. I love matcha. Especially the earthy taste... how when done well, can be delicious with fruit flavors. So I bought the viral drink with an extra shot of matcha because I know myself. And sadly the matcha was mostly milk. The syrup was delicious, and the matcha had a beautiful bright green color. Yet you can barely taste the matcha. Therefore I give this a three star rating

Service was bad, however some of the dishes were outstanding and incredibly memorable. The must haves are the pulpo tostada (incredible flavor with a blend of sauces on the crispy tostada which was to die for) and the razor clam ceviche was the highlight of the night. In a spicy aguachile it was refreshing and incredibly delightful. The dish not to get is the fried sofrshell crab which was horribly cooked, flavorless, and incredibly delightful a flavorless sauce. Stopped into Joe & the Juice again in the West Village (on Hudson), and had a wonderful experience. Had a lovely morning tea at Paquita! The space is quaint and fields a little bit like a Victorian time capsule. The tea is priced extremely fairly and it seems like so much pair has been put into every utensil and cup. I had a pot of the mint chai, with a side of milk and honey, and it was delicious!
