We had been coming here for over 25 years. We loved their food, especially their cold sesame (peanut butter) noodles, pork dumplings, and their empress chicken. I felt like it was the only place in the USA I could find empress chicken and cold sesame noodles. I would have loved to have given 5 stars. Unfortunately after Covid and their restaurant remodel, the quality has deteriorated significantly. The restaurant space lost its warm, spacious feel and now has a modern, smaller, depressing feel.

Halal Munchies is a winner. The food is much better than their competitor Shah’s. Came here for an anniversary lunch :) the place was beautifully decorated as Mother’s Day was right around the corner. We ordered jugo de guayaba y jugo de maracuya, which were both very good. One of the cachapa came with chicharron on the side and the other one had pulled chicken. They were both delicious, though very filling so I suggest sharing if you’re not someone with a big appetite. My only critique is that this place is a bit pricey and the space is a bit tight in between tables.

Gong Cha is not our top option when we are craving for bubble tea. However, it’s the only choice when we shop in Rego Center so we gave it a try. The decor is humble and the staff was cool & reluctant. We had their Jasmine Milk Tea with free topping, a promotion from checking in on Yelp. We also requested our drink to be customized to 30% sugar & less ice. The drink was still super sweet and the bubble was cooked too soft in our opinions.

I will never come back here. I’ve been stopping in all week because it’s on my morning route, but I’m done. The coffee is completely watered down—there’s no coffee taste at all, it honestly tastes like chocolate milk. Excellent Service! My family and I just visited for lunch had a wonderful experience. Food came quick upon ordering, our server was very attentive and on point. Only thing we would've loved seating far from the entrance but others than that my Buffalo chicken wrap and my Guava spritz were very good. I highly recommend even for the holiday we were accommodated.

Best spot in the entire area imo. The place is clean and has a very appeaking atmosphere. The food is always fresh tasing not expensive for how much you get. The fish and shrimp are real good because they will fry them fresh. Not a lot of seasoning but simplicity is a strength.

CC’s Jamaican Restaurant gets five stars from me! The oxtails were amazing — tender, flavorful, and packed with good meat. The goat meat platter with plantains was also outstanding, full of flavor and cooked perfectly. The black beans & rice were awesome as well. My only recommendation is to order no less than a large portion because once you start eating, you’ll definitely want more!

The chicken was barely cooked at all I had to throw it away, and they still put olives. If you’re going to charge $20 for a salad, at least make it the way the customer asks.

New Nurlan is a nice, clean halal restaurant located in the basement of a hotel. Although there are no windows in the dining area, the owner has done a great job creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The meat kebabs are very flavorful, and the meat is tender and fresh. The over-rice dish, seasoned with aromatic spices, was also a real treat for anyone craving comfort food and satisfying carbs.

Nachos were ok i should of put the steak as the protein to give it that final touch. The jalapeños were made from scratch and it was a nice touch.
