Ok folks this is Nostrand avenue and this little stretch of Little Haiti has not changed much. So as far as atmosphere in area it is pretty busy and not kept up like nicer areas in Brooklyn. As far as the food, the Peppas brand is know for great Jamaican food and this location does not disappoint. The service is great and very inclusive to all people. They are very knowledgeable and helpful. I have been here several times since the new year and will continue to support!

I can rate food as for their drinks, since they have very decent coffee from Verve brand - haven’t had anything except their pastries and they don’t make them there. This place is cozy and the food is very authentic, it truly feels like you’re going to someone’s home and they’re cooking for you. Everything was full of flavor, and the tacos were great. After working an overnight shift and running errands all morning, I stopped in to grab a muffin and noticed the hibiscus tea sign listed at $4, so I decided to try one. I was charged $5.50 with no explanation. When ordering, I was only asked about ice and sweetness nothing about adding ginger or lemon so I assumed the hibiscus was already made the usual way. The drink ended up tasting very watery, and I waited 30 minutes for it. I left, tasted it, and actually drove back just to get it fixed.

It is a hole in the wall spot so seating is limited and it is POPULAR. They were very busy but the food is super fresh so it's worth the wait. Can't wait to go back and try other things.

I'm not much of a Tres Leches Cake fan but Capy might change that. They have different flavored cakes. They are moist but not overly wet as most tend to be. The place is clean. I tend to like cozier bakeries. I wish they had some other options in terms of pastries. But at least what they do they do well. The service and prices are good. I had what seemed like a freshly Prepared banh mi. Very warm and the bread was very good. Vegetables seem fresh as well. I don’t know what happened but an hour or two later I had the most violent diarrhea of my life. And I’m really mad about it because being stuck out in the city with that is a nightmare….maybe the meat was spoiled? Maybe poor food handling and veggies were contaminated? Wanted to experience a real Haitian bakery. The atmosphere is homey and quaint. The service was on point and quick. I ordered pizza from Papa John’s and ended up getting really sick afterward. I had stomach pain, vomiting, and dizziness that lasted for two days. I can’t say for sure what went wrong, but this was a really bad experience and concerning. I hope the store looks into their food quality and handling because no one should feel like this after eating. Definitely disappointed.

The donuts were stale. We are valued clients of DD bec why not, dunkin is good, but not in this location. Its disappointing and i dont know if DD sells heart shaped a week after valentines day, but regardless, i served stale donuts and my daughter told me that they also had an experience there, that their donuts were like that.. This place is beautiful. Presentation great. This café has been going viral on social media for the blackberry pie matcha. I love matcha. Especially the earthy taste... how when done well, can be delicious with fruit flavors. So I bought the viral drink with an extra shot of matcha because I know myself. Completely overrated and not worth the money. I’d rather get juice from a local bodega in Manhattan because at least it tastes fresh and authentic. What a great place to grab some really incredible food. Friendly staff and with the open kitchen, it is fun to watch them hand make the tortillas and cook up the food. Highly recommend wha that’s to be their signature dish- Steak Trampo. So tender and full of flavor. Amazing food, service as we remember when they had the restaurant in Astoria. We missed them so much so we had to go to the city and try them out. And yes, food is so delicious, fresh and on point as always! It was so good that we order another ramen to go. I wish they have the tantan dry ramen but it was not on the menu. We had the yellowtail sashimi, Brussels sprouts tempura (which is always one of my favorite), fried chicken, spicy miso ramen and shoyu ramen. All were so delicious and fresh.
