It has nothing with Berlin Döner to do. The meat wasn't on the spit, which should have alerted me. There was no choice of sauces or side dishes, as one would expect from a traditional doner kebab. Our new neighborhood favorite. Super welcoming atmosphere. Came here for the first time tonight and had a couple drinks and snacks. Love the variety on tap and getting to taste some of the beers (it’s a Wednesday night thing). They also have cider on tap which is huge for me! I absolutely love Joe & The Juice on Broadway and 21st Street! The atmosphere is so stylish, cozy, and welcoming. It’s the perfect place to relax, enjoy good music, and have a fresh meal. I stumbled across this place and I absolutely love it! The interior is clean. The food is amazing, and so are the portions and prices! The chicken wings are incredibly crispy, tender, and seasoned well, with a side of ketchup for dipping. The Thinly Sliced Beef Mix Noodles are great, also pretty spicy. Though previously I gave some positive reviews for Popeyes other stores but for this store I would say very negative experience with staff and their service and food. I ordered family meals but the guy gave us some over fried chicken looks so nasty small size pieces and the biscuits were not fresh have extra unexpected smell with them. Was in the area visiting and stopped by on a Friday early afternoon for lunch. We were greeted warmly and sat down immediately. The young lady tending to us was very nice. We all enjoyed our meals: order of al pastor tacos, chicken quesadilla, and steak burrito. They also give complimentary tortilla chips with salsa. The salsa is good - a little on the sweeter side but so good. If ever in the area again, I will definitely come again!

I wish the crew were more supportive, someone who looked like a manager didn’t care giving a hand to help the waiter bussing a table, he was clearly busy taking orders and running food, but he just were on his phone chatting like nothing was going on. Their lunch deals are amazing. I was impressed by the price and quality of the salmon teriyaki bento box. It came with the perfect portion of salmon, vegetables, shumai, California roll, miso soup, spring roll, and brown rice for no extra charge. What really impressed me was nothing was too sweet or salty and I actually felt everything was healthy and good quality for once. This is going to be my go to spot when I’m at the office. I’ve also gotten their sushi before and it’s solid as well.

Awesome folks behind the counter! Food was made quickly and fresh, the portions are a reminder of what family owned is like. Half Chicken w/ shrimp fried rice - was fried to perfection, the rice was flavorful. Shrimp egg roll - was delicious, fried perfectly and the perfect amount of stuffing. The homemade ice tea - was delicious, not overly sweet and still flavorful. The prices are standard for NYC, you cannot go wrong eating here 👍🏽

The decor is beautiful and really reminds me of Japan. The fish and rice in the omakase were excellent, especially the golden eye snapper and the trout sushi, which were absolute standouts. Chef Suzuki-san prepares each piece with great care, and the rest of the team is very friendly and attentive. Overall, this is one of the best sushi restaurants in NYC.

Everything about PKLYN is a great: the venue, the staff, the coaches, and the crowd that plays there. I have being going there for over a year, 3 or 4 times a week. I have done various class and their beginner academy course - which were great. Just today I had a phenomenal class with Coach Bo, who was teaching 3rd-shot-drop and transitioning from the base-line to the kitchen-line. It was so helpful! I cant wait to put it in action. I also recommend his Drive class.
