A comfy atmosphere attracts a laid-back neighborhood crowd to this cash-only pub famed for burgers.
If you’re looking for a classic New York burger experience, JG Melon is a solid choice. The food is decent and consistent, and it’s even mentioned in the Michelin Guide, which says a lot about its reputation. The burgers are simple, juicy, and done right — no fuss, just quality. And the cottage fries are a must-try — crispy, golden, and the perfect side to their classic cheeseburger. The cozy, old-school atmosphere makes the whole experience feel very “New York.”

Finally made it to Bel Aire Diner and I can honestly say it lives up to the hype especially with their halal menu option. Being able to swap any protein on their regular menu for halal is a game changer, and they don’t cut corners at all. The Harissa Chicken Sandwich was a standout with its juicy chicken thigh glazed in sweet-spicy harissa honey, perfectly balanced and tucked into soft brioche with a nice crunch from the cabbage. The Halal Chicken Parm was pure comfort crispy, tender, and paired

Levain Bakery absolutely lives up to the hype. After hearing so much about their cookies, I went in with high expectations and somehow they still exceeded them. The cookies are simply incredible: perfectly crisp on the outside, soft and gooey in the center, rich without being overly sweet, and packed with flavor in every bite. They're substantial, indulgent, and somehow manage to feel both comforting and unforgettable at the same time. I've had cookies from countless bakeries, but Levain's are

An incredibly delicious burger at a great price! Mine was prepared surprisingly quickly, although we had to wait quite a while for the second burger, even though we were the only customers there. That said, it was definitely worth the wait—everything was hot, fresh, and absolutely delicious. I'd happily come back!

Happy Cinco de Mayo! Cinco de Mayo celebrates Mexican culture, resilience, and the rich traditions that bring people together. At NY Bakery and Dessert, you can find festive favorites like tres leches, strawberry tres leches, and flan. My favorite is the strawberry tres leches — the combination of three kinds of milk with fresh strawberry flavor is incredibly soft, rich, and delicious. You’ll also discover a wide variety of desserts from around the world — French pastries, gluten-free opera cake

Casual steakhouse chain known for grilled beef & other American dishes in a ranch-style space.
A great date night at LongHorn Steakhouse. The atmosphere is warm, relaxed, and perfect for a casual night out without feeling rushed. The steaks were cooked right, portions were generous, and everything came out fresh and flavorful. Definitely one of those reliable spots in Queens when you want a good meal, good drinks, and a comfortable vibe for a date night or even a family dinner. Rating: 9.5/10 Date Last Visited: 1/25/2026 We ordered the Lomo Saltado ($30), Shrimp and Grits ($28), Mofongo Con Constilla ($30), Churrasco ($29), Steak Frites ($32), Ceviche ($17), and Dulce De Leche Pancakes ($17). Almost every dish was amazing, but the lomo saltado is the star of the show. The combination of the beef short rib, onions, tomato, and fries along with the sauces is perfect. The beef is extremely tender and the dish is super flavorful. It’s worth going to Coppelia just to eat t

The place is ok. We placed a big order and the food was ok. Some of the grill chicken was actually over cooked and a bit burnt. The portions are ok. The place is not set up for dinning in as there are no settings or tables. You have to order out. The good part is that they have a dedicated parking area on the side of the store which is a bless in this area. This was my first time at Williamsburg Bathhouse, I had a wonderful time and felt very relaxed. Absolutely all the staff are welcoming, friendly and polite. First time at this IHOP and I was impressed. I was greeted and seated right away. My server, Carolina, was incredible from the moment she took our order. Her energy and attentiveness really stood out — she confirmed everything and our food came out in minutes. Carolina’s service is the reason I’ll keep coming back. A1. Upscale bakery with Parisian origins, specializing in French macarons in a number of flavors.
We dined for my birthday brunch at the SoHo location. From beginning to end, the experience was a delightful experience. We enjoyed a variety of cocktails including a not-too spicy and delicious Bloody Mary. The espresso martini not only boasted a full flavor, it was also beautifully presented. The food far exceeded our expectations in both visual presentation and gastronomical expression. We sampled salad, avocado toast and the seasonal quiche with carmelized pinions, goat cheese and spinach. C

Agh I really wanted to like this place but I just didn’t… don’t get me wrong the vibe is so so cute but the food was subpar at best. As a negative start, we got the crispy calamari which tasted like it was 3 hrs old and the Caesar salad which was basic at best. I’m begging you, do not get the calamari, it was truly disappointing. Our saving grace however was the crab, spinach, and artichoke dip which was tasty but not special and the French onion soup… now that was actually delicious, making it

Tiny no-frills space delivers live jazz bands & jam sessions at modest prices.
Located in West Village, this jazz venue offers a great range of good quality jazz live music. The staff were consistently friendly, welcoming, and attentive, and the drink prices felt reasonable by Manhattan standards. That said, the experience did not fully match my expectations. Went at 3 Sunday afternoon, not busy. Seated right away, took 15 minutes for waiter to get around to us, others seated after us had already ordered by the time our waiter bothered. Food came out and was not hot. The corned beef and pastrami, Peters special - I have never had corned beef and pastrami that was so totally tasteless. Casual seafood restaurant serving fish, lobster & steak with dinner specials & raw bar.
We chose this restaurant to celebrate my birthday, and overall it was a memorable experience with some notable highs and a few disappointing misses. The seafood was exceptionally fresh, and the lobster roll was easily the highlight of the meal. The quality of the ingredients was evident, and it reminded us why this place has remained a Brooklyn institution for so many decades. That said, not everything was equally impressive. For appetizers, we had the Original Tonchin Maguro, Tebasaki Curry + Cheese Wings, Gyoza, and the Unagi Rice Ball. Everything was packed with flavor and perfect for sharing. Busy, old world-style destination for Belgian fries served in paper cones with gourmet sauces.
For many people this will be FIVE STARS. I want to make that really clear because if you like a thick cut fry that’s golden on the outside with a high “fuffly potato” ratio on the inside, you’ll enjoy it thoroughly because they’ve executed amazingly on that kind of fry. The problem in this case is me: I like a thin cut fry with more of the crunchy / crispy golden exterior and less of the interior of a fry. And they really are two different categories of fry. As far as execution on the former is
