Love love love 87 Ludlow. The food is delicious--exactly like an elevated Filipino tapas bar in Manila would be. For pork eaters, the adobo kebab is a must try! Service is excellent and the drinks are good. We were surrounded by couples, so it seems like a great place to go on a date, too. As for me, I'll be coming back with more friends, so we can order more dishes! Haha. Try to checkout Ligaw, the adjoining bar: the eponymous drink is a must-try.

Small storefront in a strip mall on Hylan Blvd. near Nelson Ave. More of a takeout place but some small tables to eat in. First thing on the table was some chips with an interesting dipping sauce. Sort of a pico de gallo with fish sauce. Very tasty. I ordered from the regular menu instead of a lunch special. I was pleasantly surprised when the won ton soup arrived with excellent garlic bread on the side. Won tons were small but there was plenty of them. My banh mi was nicely filled on good brea

My family and I go here often and we usually enjoy our dinner. But today I was very very disappointed! I ordered $60 worth of take-out food. I got 2 orders of sesame chicken & fried dumplings. The chicken was very hard and super dry. And the dumplings were overcooked and very dark. Now I'm not one to complain, so I decided to call and tell them about how unhappy we were with the way the food was cooked today. Unfortunately the response that we got was worse than the food. I asked what can they

The food, ambiance, and staff were amazing. Our mentoring program had its etiquette dinner at the Edge and the were attentive to our needs from the beginning to the end. The manager was wonderful, there aren’t enough words to describe the level of customer service she bestowed upon us. All the food arrived to the table hot and delicious. All of our guests commented how they enjoyed their food. Our young ladies that we mentor, cannot stop talking about the evening and how they enjoyed their foo

I went here on a Sunday afternoon for brunch and it has to be one of my favorite places to eat. The place was quiet at first, but more people came in an it started getting quite lively. The food was not only delicious but also flavorful. The staff were kind and attentive. I highly recommend the brunch menu with the bottomless drinks. The Bellini was great, but keep in mind that they no longer serve Sangrias.

Recently opened sushi place with a unique menu - one of the rolls is covered with gold and black caviar! They also know how to present dishes nicely. Sushi is very good and the prices are reasonable. Nice and attentive staff. Highly recommended for a quick lunch or nice sit down dinner. Also, it’s not too loud which is a big plus for me.

Went twice and it was worth it. Tried the Beef Rendang Set and Ayam Gulai Set. The beef rendang is the star, super tender, rich and packed with flavor. Easily the best dish here. The ayam gulai was comforting and nicely spiced too. Portion sizes are big and satisfying. Great halal option inside Urban Hawker if you’re craving asian food.

The food here is really amazing. Definitely full of flavor what I really love are the cocktails, especially with their happy hour and their golden hour, specials worth checking out and definitely worth checking out for lunch. The prices are amazing and you are a diabetic looking for good bites and a low sugar cocktails. This is definitely the place to go. Date Night, quick drink with friends, it all! Always an amazing time at Elite! The hookahs are smooth and flavorful, and the service is excellent. They also have fun games, great photo ops, and food. I’ve had the sushi tacos here before and they were great but whoever made my signature roll didn’t care to even provide a good portion as you can clearly see gaps with little fish, and mostly rice. It also looks nothing close to the picture on their website with a whole top layer of fish missing on my sushi. The sauce hides the gaps too. Additionally, I stated I have a sesame allergy but there was still sesame seeds on the sushi. I would eat here again for their other menu items but I would avo

We’ve been here before, but recently they started offering breakfast, so we came to try it. Aunt Liu was very friendly and even offered us peanuts and soy milk while we waited. We ordered pan-fried buns, potstickers, a chive pocket, and wonton soup. The chive pocket was cold inside at first, but Aunt Liu reheated it and gave us a new one as well. It turned out to be the best dish we had. The wonton soup was okay, the pan-fried buns had a very thick wrapper, and the potstickers felt more like p

Honestly I was unimpressed by the offerings of this restaurant. The Jhol Momos were extremely weak - they tasted like plain steamed dumplings in extremely thin, and watered down Jhol soup. There felt like there was nothing to this dish. 5/10 The chili Momos (chicken, vegetable) were decent but the sauce was a little more starchy than I would've liked and tasted a little one dimensional. I've definitely had worse Momos but I've also definitely had much better. Still decent, all things considered

Avocado is such a gem! The atmosphere is adorable yet gives off a touch of luxury, it’s the perfect place to relax and enjoy amazing sushi. Everything was so flavorful, and I’ve had a lot of sushi in my life, but this truly stood out. I finished every bite and still wanted more! I used to come here for the $8 takeout lunch special, but I won’t be back. During my last visit, I pulled a hair—easily over 12 inches long—straight out of my rice. On top of that, the chicken quality was very questionable/mysterious. Disgusting experience and a total waste of money.

Finally tried Togyushi and it lives up to the hype! The restaurant has a fantastic bar vibe—perfect for unwinding after a long week. This place features a Japanese head chef serving certified Hokkaido Wagyu. For the location and the high-end ingredients, the Omakase menu is incredibly well-priced and high-value. Every Wagyu cut was perfectly marbled with a clean, light, milky flavor that didn't feel heavy at all. the Wagyu Ribeye Sando was crispy and melted in my mouth, the fermented Wagyu Yak

Found a solid spot inside LIC Food Hall — Pho Vital 🍜 They have lots of options and combo meals that are actually worth it. We got the lemongrass chicken rice and grilled pork vermicelli, both super flavorful and surprisingly light. The chicken was so juicy and well marinated, and everything came with fresh veggies on the side. Also tried the warm ginger apple tea and Thai tea — both hit the spot. I would’ve loved to like this, but it simply wasn’t good. This purple one was supposed to be strawberry vanilla, but there’s nothing inside and it just tastes like frosting. The texture is hard like frosting too. After a couple bites, no one wanted to eat more. I would’ve preferred to buy from a generic cake store instead.

There were a few people eating inside and the locale was bright and roomy; not much to the decor but pleasant enough There wasn't very much to the menu; basically different variations of pho; including catfish which was a first. I have a friend that works nearby so we stopped here for a quick lunch. Food is nothing out of this world, BUT they have a good lunch deal for $12.99. You get to choose an entree, white or fried rice, and water or soda of choice. We went with the mala chicken and it was pretty good! Pretty good portion and there’s a slight kick to it. Fun spot. Tea based cocktail bar. Feels like a small little cave with innovative cocktails that are well made and blended. Surprisingly food was very delicious as well. Loved the pasta and chef special (egg and rice and beef). Cod was a bit too much chili for me but no complaints. Dessert is tiny - tiramisu is good, but not the best. Matcha cheesecake solid. Overall, really delicious venue with a fun cave vibe with great cocktails and surprisingly good food.

First time there. Service was speedy. Ordered on my walk over as I was in a rush. They said 10 min but it was ready in about 5. I asked for chicken fried rice extra veggies. Rice is decent. The baguette was amazing, but besides that the food tasted pretty bland…. I wanted to like this place more but to be frank… it’s just like other generic Asian tea spots…. Nothing on this menu really sticks out to me, yes there is Vietnamese sandwiches and dishes but it lacks any love aka proper seasoning, even the fish sauce to eat with the noodle dishes are bland.
