My wife sent me to pickup some food at Paulette on 49th st. Off second. It was lunch time and almost every seat was taken and others were coming in to pickup. I ordered for take out and eat home. I ordered the half chicken, Brussel sprouts and roasted potatoes. And I added a side of soup. Service was very efficient. We ate at home. Everything was well cooked and very delicious. We will definitely order from here again for take out. A little too crowded for us to eat in.

I come here almost every morning and it has become one of my favorite parts of the day. The iced latte is consistently excellent — the espresso is rich and flavorful, and every drink is prepared with care. The staff are always warm, welcoming, and friendly, creating such a great atmosphere. Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a great coffee and an even better café experience!

this place!!!!! man oh man! maybe it doesnt necessarily take you to paris, france, but it sure takes me into a warm hug. every time you walk in, you are greeted with a bubbly welcome. its a small little shop, but cozy. they keep it pretty clean. their christmas decor makes it even more cozy! the sandwiches are delightful and are a go-to for me. they are pretty large, so i often have half for lunch, and then save the other half for a snack later in the day. the workers are just dolls! ella never

Watery cappuccino. Ridiculously overpriced. No great immediate seating (other than the hotel). To go only. Pastries look OK but like 50% more than what I would pay at competitors. Not impressed

I had a great first dining experiencing at Les Vagabonds for lunch! We had the steak frites (sauce was amazing!), Nicoise salad and Creme brulee. Had an amazing conversation with the owner, Motrya. She was super friendly and took amazing care of us! If you haven't done so already, please check them out. You won't regret it!

It was just before a string of noon meetings when I slipped into Chez les Frenchies Café, a small corner on First Avenue that feels far removed from the rush outside. The kind of place that seems to know its role in the day—not a spectacle, not a scene, but a pause. The space itself carries a quiet ease. Light pours in through the windows, softening the café’s warm wood and neat arrangement of tables. There’s a balance here—nothing overdesigned, nothing trying too hard—just a simple French eleg

The best Wiener Schnitzel in New York! Delightful menu with Swiss and Austrian specialities with a modern twist. Tip top ingredients, prepared with love and skill. Lovely cosy Alpine atmosphere and genuinely attentive staff. I would 100% recommend a visit. I know I’ll be back to work my way through the menu. Excellent wine list too.

Legendary chef's upscale bistro offering American breakfast fare in a striking baroque setting.
Foods are elegantly presented and tasty. Prices are actually reasonable for what you get except for the juices coffee and tea for which you pay $10-20 each but the servers made them seem free by holding juice jars after you’ve been seated and asking “would you like some orange or grapefruit juice?”😂

This place is such a hidden gem right on the water. It’s going to be amazing in the summer—perfect for a date night or dinner with family or friends. I already want to go back and grab dinner at sunset. They also have a really pretty bar that I’d love to sit at. It’s all the way down Pier 57, so it feels a little tucked away, but definitely worth it. The food was really good and the portions were perfect. We ordered the bucatini, Caesar salad, octopus with beans, and finished with the chocolate

Staff was very welcoming and helpful even when my wife and I pulled up 15min before opening with a stroller and our 2 month old. The manager Erik helped us store our stroller and even set us with up with a little area to nurse our child. He was really nice to our daughter and even helped her fall asleep - my daughter's first words might be "Uncle E". The bartender Zach made a delicious daiquiri, martinez and even showed me a cool new way to drink amaro. He even let me bum a cigarette and helpe

i used to visit jc all the time when they were in soho and every now and then i crave the skate dish. im pretty sure theyve changed chefs since then because the tomatoes are usually bigger and charred which would have been better with the couscous and the dressing. the skate itself was still good but it was a culmination of all the ingredients in one bite that made this dish live rent free in my head. my bf had the filet mignon special on this saturday. it was cooked perfectly for him. medium bu

Really wanted to like this spot but the latte was bad, french toast was so dry, and egg whites were so raw it just oozed all out even though the menu stated “crispy” and I asked for it to be crispy, place was so humid inside with no fan or ac working. Atmosphere is cute, other items on menu may be better than what I ordered. If you are looking for a great brunch spot I highly recommend Atelier December few blocks over.

My experience at Maman was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere was warm, inviting, and beautifully curated—every detail felt intentional and effortlessly charming. The food was absolutely outstanding—fresh, flavorful, and thoughtfully prepared. Every bite tasted like it was made with care and high-quality ingredients. The drinks were equally impressive, perfectly balanced and presented with a touch of elegance that elevated the entire experience. What trul

Really enjoyed my time at this wine bar. The decor is really nice and felt very cozy inside. The wine selections are good, but they could be better. The staff were all very good and had some nice appetizers, the stuffed dates with smoked ham was a real treat. I’ll be back for sure!

Love this place! We’ve visited twice and had a few different pastries, including the lemon cake, almond chocolate croissant, cinnamon roll and the choco roule. My least favorite was the cinnamon roll (it was a little dry) but we have loved every other pastry here! The service is polite but quick, and they have such good looking bread options that you can’t avoid coming back. Highly recommended!

Do you have a black book filled with eating delights? I do and Cafe D'Anvers is in it. So when Laura wanted to meet me to celebrate my birthday, I made a reservation. Located in East Harlem, the subway took me to 103rd Street. A steep hill fortified my appetite. Cafe D'Anvers is easy to spot with it's inviting red exterior. Laura was at the table. Jackie greeted us cheerfully. We came here for Moules Frites which we ordered and a glass of Sancerre to wash it down. Two large kettles were put down

Went here last week and honestly loved it! The ambiance is warm and cozy, we tried the black sea bass, escargot à la bourguignonne, and profiteroles, each paired with a special cocktail, and everything was great! Special thanks to Juline for making us feel at home, she was exceptional :) Definitely coming back soon :)

Upscale bakery with Parisian origins, specializing in French macarons in a number of flavors.
I stopped by the Ladurée location in Hudson Yards and it was such a lovely experience. I had a selection of macarons along with one of their specialty Nutella lattes, and everything was absolutely delicious. The macarons were perfectly delicate with that signature crisp exterior and soft, flavorful center that Ladurée is known for. Paired with the Nutella latte—which was rich, smooth, and such a fun treat—it made for the perfect quick pick-me-up. What I really appreciate about this location is

Sam, the general manager, made this an unforgettable night for my mom and me. We agreed it was one of the best meals we’ve ever had. The bread and the halibut were delicious beyond words. The tuna with greens was surprisingly delightful (more my mom’s taste than mine, but I’m glad I tried). We could have done without the chilled shrimp crudo, missed the mark for us. The drink list was incredible, and our bottle (the Patapon white) was perfection. Well worth the trek to Red Hook! Thanks to Hele

Absolutely loved the ambiance! The cocktails were not only tasty but also expertly crafted. The wine selection was good too. They have cheese and charcuterie. Thom the bartender is great! He told me he works on Mondays and Thursdays. The music was spot on, making it an all-around fantastic experience.

Such a great vibe and amazing wine list. I was obsessed with this orange muscatel de Alexandria. Grab a glass and sit in the back and have the best time! This used to be my favorite Amaro bar in the city but I love what they did with this space and they made it feel more upscale. Just an overall amazing experience for Williamsburg!

We recently had our post-wedding dinner at Gazette. We rented the private dining room space for 20 adults and 2 little ones. It was the perfect venue! From the event coordinator to the servers to the seasonal menu, we had a wonderful and thoughtful experience. It was the coziest dinner with friends and family in a warm and beautiful space. All of our guests raved about their meals and the drink selection, especially the scallops appetizer and strip loin entree. Would highly recommend for hosting

Such a beautiful experience at the Caviar Bar at The Mark Hotel. The space is stunning, super elegant but still feels intimate and comfortable, especially sitting at the bar and main dining room. This is my honest review of the Frenchette Bakery at Whitney Museum, Meatpacking district, NYC, USA. A very convenient café inside the Whitney Museum — perfect for a quick break during your visit. We came days in a row because we really enjoyed the natural wines with $40 and $10 happy hour deals, paired with well-crafted dishes like beef tartare for two, tender pork sausage with generous fries, and light shrimp that complements white wine. Came here with my boyfriend for the first time for a relaxed date night after work. Beautiful decor and great natural wine selection, which they change out routinely so there’s always something new. Very disappointed by the experience. I had been once during the opening and loved it, so I came back and booked dinner for 6 people. We arrived early and first went to the speakeasy bar, but the host was so unpleasant that we decided to move to the patio bar instead. Cocktails were great and the bartender was lovely. Dinner itself was fine until the check. I asked for the bill to be split by 5, and instead I was charged the entire amount on my card — an $800+ mistake. When I asked for the man

Mixed experience. The cocktails were well made and enjoyable, though on the pricey side. The bartenders came across as sharp, and despite the bar being mostly empty, we felt more in the way than welcomed. Despite it being early in the evening, bathrooms were not in great shape. The space itself is beautiful and the drinks are good, but warmer service and better attention to basics would make a big difference.
