Basic restaurant offering sushi & other familiar Japanese dishes for takeout or delivery.
I come here too often, this place is a staple. The owners and staff are so kind, the sushi is a great price, and look at these photos - it’s the perfect ratio of fish/stuffing vs rice. You can never go wrong with this place! Highly recommend. Note that it’s basically take out only but there are a bunch of parks nearby where you can sit and enjoy it!

The best sushi I have ever eaten! My wife made reservations here for my birthday and I was completely blown away by the quality, taste, and presentation. This was my first Omakase experience and I was very impressed by Chef Tony's creative and meticulous approach to preparing sushi. The pacing was perfect and gave us time to fully appreciate each dish and anticipate the next. Witnessing Chef Tony's craftmanship on full display was satisfying and enlightening. His skill and experience is evident

Stopped by Yoshi Sushi in Williamsburg on my way home one afternoon and I’m so glad I did. It was one of the first really warm days of 2026 and I grabbed a spot inside by the window to soak it in. They have this amazing lunch special: three rolls for $18 which is honestly unbeatable. I went with the spicy tuna, Alaskan, and eel rolls and everything was fresh, flavorful, and perfectly made. The spicy tuna had just the right kick, the Alaskan was loaded with nice salmon and avocado, and the eel wa

I went to this place with my family for my birthday. It is a very cute little place and I loved the food here. It is very close to Brooklyn Tabernacle so we walked from the church after secure for a late lunch. Everyone was hungry and the food was delicious. We ordered some appetizers shrimp shumai and pork gyoza. We had three ramens, one unagi don and one pork katsu curry. All the dishes were amazing. The service was excellent as well.

Met up with a grad school friend visiting from Seattle and brought her to Torizaku since she loves Asian food. Great choice. The sukiyaki was the star of the night. It comes in a bear-shaped broth presentation that’s honestly adorable and perfect for a girls’ dinner. After about 10 minutes of simmering, it was loaded with beef, napa cabbage, tofu, mushrooms, greens, noodles, and shrimp. Comforting without feeling too heavy. The yakitori is always reliable here. We ordered a mix of chicken wing

I and two of my friends ate dinner here for the first time this evening and keeping it short we all three were left feeling disappointed . We tried the omakase and not only were we left hungry (not uncommon, I am used to smaller portions at omakase) but also underwhelmed. From the cold appetizer dishes that both consisted of marinated vegetables to a very underwhelming 6th and final plate that consisted of just two chicken wings with minimal flavor and a side what seemed like prepackaged potato

This is my go-to sushi spot! I’ve tried all sushi spots around the Bay-Ridge area and no one beats Okinawa for their quality and price point. If you’re hungry and looking for sushi, definitely check out their sale menu and their incredibly affordable lunch menu combo (3 sushi rolls comes with soup and salad!).

Fantastic food and great customer service. The fried chicken and the beef are excellent options for the rice bowls. Definitely coming back for that ramen next time! Edit: I went back the next day for the signature ramen. Omg, it was the best ramen I've had in NYC. The broth and noodles, delicious. The chashu was heavenly. I've studied abroad in Japan for a year and this was the first time in over a decade since I've had chashu this good and authentic.

Absolutely loved this place! The ramen was incredibly creamy and savory — full of flavor without being too heavy. You can tell they really care about quality. The Kara Age (chicken) was fresh and juicy, and the spicy mayo sauce on the side made it even better. The Fried gyosa (dumplings) were super good too — perfectly cooked and packed with flavor. And I loved that noodle refills are only $2, which is such a great deal. Definitely coming back again! 🍜

Idk why this place is rated so low I imagine cu people get it confused with the other Kiku sushi but it’s a different restaurant ? All I have to say is I’m a food snob and it’s been hard to find good takeout sushi that is reliable , fresh, and not in the overly polished sugarfish type category. Don’t get me wrong I love both styles, but the quality of the fish heee and ESPECIALLY for the price I’m just blown away. I had almost given up on takeout sushi the tuna was sponges and salmon just.. idk

This unpretentious sushi restaurant will not disappoint. The sushi presentation is truly artistic as each piece is a masterpiece with incredible attention to detail. For an authentic sushi experience, Nori is among the top places to go on Staten Island, in the same way that one might go to Jade Island for Chinese food. Though the restaurant has a little bit of a takeout feel, it also has the feel of a genuine sushi place in Tokyo, where I’ve been many times. When you walk in, you will see the typical sushi bar and you’ll hear the sound of Japanese music playing lightly in the background. That is no subtle thing, because many restaurants go off key when they

A hole in the wall spot for sure! This place has great sushi. Not only is the food priced fairly, but the employees are willing to give recommendations. Warning, they are takeout only! So do not expect to go inside and dine in. They are pretty quick and offer a lot of options, which makes it nice if you're in a rush. If you do go in person, do not expect fancy or friendly service--just good food.

Had an amazing experience with three types of traditional Japanese bento, all of them looked incredible! The daily special bento was absolutely my favorite. If you’re looking for a healthy and nutritious lunch, this is hands down the place to go. The karaage (Japanese fried chicken) looked so juicy and delicious that it’s definitely on my list for next time!!!!!!

I thought that the staff was super unprofessional. Especially in when only 4 people were dining, they kept talking about personal stuff and thought it was unprofessional. A Japanese man, I’m assuming is the owner, was super friendly and tried sparking conversation. But the sushi itself was amazing. I thought the quality exceeded the price and it was a great eating experience. Food made up for the weird service. I got the premium set and everything was a hit. Not a single lack luster piece.

Cute cat themed cafe. There was a rather long line; but it went pretty quickly. It would be helpful to have the menu closer to the door, so you can take your time to read through it while you're waiting in line, as opposed to only being able to read it as you get closer to ordering, as they have many options. The venue has some tall bar tables and 1 2-person dining table. We dined in during lunch and tried their fixed lunch menu for $25. Included in the meal is a miso soup, salad, avocado or cucumber roll, and a tuna or salmon rice bowl. The salmon was fresh and the bowl had a nice sweet warm rice topped with some dried seaweed, which was delicious. One of the BEST experiences of my life. We went last night for my dad's birthday, it was my first time trying sushi and it was so delightful and perfect. My dad asked for the sushi/sashimi mix and he LOVED it, my mom had some noodles, my brother had the fried rice and I ordered salmon/avocado rolls. Yes, dining here is very expensive, especially if you want to try more pieces than the short omakase portion - but you will be hard pressed to find anything else quite like it. Not to mention that chef Nakazawa and everyone that served us were all so lovely, and the space felt luxurious and comfortable. Looking forward to

Such a fun little omakase spot. Much more chill and laid-back than a lot of the omakase restaurants around the city, but the quality is definitely there. The fish was very fresh, and I especially liked that they included a few things you don’t see all that often, like monkfish liver and milt. Those kinds of touches made the experience feel a bit more interesting than your typical omakase. On top of that, they offer complimentary sake during the meal, which makes it an even better value. I was very pleasantly surprised by this place. Sushi is top quality and very fresh. I highly recommend the kiss of fire roll (the salmon, tuna, and yellowtail combo is amazing) and the tonkotsu ramen. The ramen had a very rich and flavorful pork broth that is lacking at some other restaurants I’ve tried in the city. In other words, it’s the best I’ve had in a while. Overall 10/10 experience and I will be coming back.

I ordered via Uber during a heavy snowstorm. When the ramen arrived, it had clearly been made over an hour earlier and was handed to me without a single word. I made a very reasonable request: “Could you please remake it?” That request was flatly refused, with no alternative offered — no remake, no replacement, no apology. The price was nearly ¥8,000, yet all responsibility was pushed onto Uber. The ramen was cold, the noodles had an unpleasant texture, and the taste was honestly awful. I lat
