The $31 seasonal buffet here is definitely worth a try. Each person gets one limited portion of A5 wagyu, but Angus beef, lamb, and chicken are all unlimited. Everything is sliced thin, so it’s easy to keep eating without feeling heavy. The snow crab chawanmushi is a highlight, soft, silky, and served hot. I ended up having several bowls myself. The self-serve bar has a good variety too, with vegetables, fruits, beef balls, quail eggs, and shrimp paste, plus unlimited drinks. Overall, a satisfyi

Absolutely outstanding experience. From the moment you walk in, everything feels right: great location, perfect temperature, and a beautiful interior that’s elegant and welcoming ideal for special occasions like birthdays or anniversaries. The food is exceptional. The sushi shows real expertise, freshness, and excellent presentation. The chicken and meat dishes are equally impressive, prepared with precision and deep respect for Japanese cuisine. The customer service is outstanding: attentive

Hard to get a table even with a reservation. The food is so yummy and the rolls are BIG. One roll is more than enough for me. Get things to share, the appetizers ate so good and the sushi is delicious. The drinks are ok and the dessert is ok. Get the sushi pizza and the crispy rice! Food is consistent and the restaurant has the best vibe. Some of my favorite sushi in nyc but I wouldn’t call it authentic.

I absolutely love this place! I go to Koi every time I’m in town and have such a great time. Servers are always incredible and very nice. The food is UNREAL!!! You have got to try the salmon tartar, or tuna tartar. (Hack - grab chopsticks and chop up the Chips and mix it up all together) then eat with chopstick. AMAZING. Crispy rice spicy tuna is a must. The Aka roll is my favorite sushi roll. Honestly, you can try everything here and it’s amazing. Absolutely love this place in the ambience is g

Great atmosphere; I love the vibe here. The low-light setting works well for groups or an intimate date. Service was great as well. As for the sushi: this specific style of preparation isn't to my liking. I didn't enjoy the combination of warm rice and room-temperature fish. While the rice was nicely seasoned, it fell apart every time I tried to pick up a piece of nigiri with my chopsticks or my fingers. The edamame is served chilled, which isn't to my liking. Additionally, the rolls were cut w

Fresh, tasty sushi served Omakase style so the menus are curated by the chefs. The sushi is brought out and immediately consumed by the customer to provide an amazing experience. Takumi Omakase in the LES was honestly one of the best omakase experiences I’ve had in NYC. Instead of a fixed number of courses, the chef serves endless omakase piece by piece for about 90 minutes, and you can keep going until the time ends or until you decide you’re full. It makes the experience feel really personal and relaxed, and every piece is served fresh right in front of you. The fish quality was incredible and each piece was thoughtfully prepared by the chef. This is my favorite katsu spot in nyc! I tried out some of their new dishes since my last visit (branzino with yakisoba and clam pasta) and my goto pork loin katsu. Katsu is as good as usual, golden and crispy and the noodle dishes were also fantastic! Highly recommend try out this spot! Plus, corn ice cream is such a fun and unique dessert to try out and it actually tastes like a corn 🌽

Informal, wood-paneled restaurant serving Japanese ramen dishes, plus sake, beers & wine.
My experience every time I come here is superb. The vegetable ramen has the perfect combination of veggies with just the right amount of kick. The Chicken katsu curry rice has a perfectly fried crispy chicken that is majestically paired with the curry. The Orion beer is one of my favorite beers to date. It's a smooth, non-bitter lite beer that pairs great with this food. Complimentary warm tea is usually served after the meal. Overall affordable place with great food.

Have always wanted to try out this spot. Worked out that I was around during lunch time which means I caught the lunch time deals. Enjoyed a big bowl of the miso ramen. The egg was jammy. Noodles were cooked just right. Tons of memma and corn. Could do less of the cabbage and scallion.

Super cute place!!! We booked an hour time slot, this came with a free drink, which was really nice! The chai was good. Having three floors of cat space was awesome incase you wanted to slip away from the crowd and hang out with some quieter cats. The outdoor catio is a nice area to spend some time with sleepy cats in the sun. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The cats were sooooo cute, we loved spending time here. Was super relaxing! The Chicken Nankotsu (cartilage chicken) was about $14, but the portion was very small for the price, so it felt a bit overpriced. The Demi-Glace Hamburg was just average. This one has been on my list for a while since my office is nearby. Wasn’t full on a Thursday night so didn’t have to wait before we got seated. I got a taco appetizer and a kaisen don/ chirashi bowl while my colleague got the set. Apparently you choose four maki rolls or hand rolls for the set, which they should have been clearer on the menu about what’s included on the set. The tacos were very tiny and the shell was a bit stale. The fish fillings were much better. My kaisen don I was expect

My girlfriend and I had a wonderful lunch omakase here! I wasn't really sure what to expect, at $70 per person this place is by no means cheap, but it's also more affordable than a lot of the competition, so what do they compromise on? They definitely don't compromise on the fish, the quality was superb. The chef prepared one delicious course after another, with wonderful and distinct flavor profiles. This is the best ramen restaurant I’ve been to in New York.
