Upscale brick-oven pizzas, calzones & wine served up in a rustic, stylish eatery.
Food: Lucali was honestly disappointing, especially because I went in wanting to love it. I’ve followed this place for years and heard all the hype, so I expected something much stronger. The flavor itself was excellent, which is what makes the review frustrating. You can taste the quality in the sauce, cheese, crust, and pepperoni. The calzone was the best thing we had fresh and probably the only item that really made sense in the moment. It was rich, cheesy, satisfying, and felt more complete

Every time I order a quarter pounder with cheese from this place, It comes to me raw. I used to love ordering from this McDonald's cause I know it gets a lot of traffic and the food is always fresh. But when I'm getting my Quarter Pounder Burger raw, it just shows me that the staff are just here to have a job and their main focus isn't on the quality of food they put out. Not everyone can cook, and this quality of food is evident of that.

Casual, neighborhood French eatery with garden seating serving brunch staples & coffee. Cash only.
Cash only! We walked in on Sunday late afternoon without a reservation. There was no wait and were seated promptly. This is a very popular spot so plan accordingly. We observed that almost every table had pancakes. I had intended on getting the pancakes after reading the online reviews. Seeing pancakes everywhere solidified my decision. Everyone enjoyed their food! Our table ordered the avocado toast, burger with fries, French toast with apple compote and berries with bacon & eggs. Of co

Phenomenal brunch. Bottomless mimosas were definitely worth it. The eggs were loaded with all of the fixings, food was quick to come out and the service was very fast as well. Highly recommend here for brunch!

We had a wonderful experience at Frankie’s Spuntino. The outdoor seating area is beautiful and incredibly pleasant. The staff made my mother feel very special on her birthday, which we really appreciated. The wine was excellent, the service was outstanding, and the food was very good. Just a heads-up: the spicy pasta is actually quite spicy! 😂 Overall, a fantastic spot with a warm atmosphere and great hospitality.

Old-school soda shop dispensing sundaes, egg creams & comfort food in a former pharmacy setting.
Had the sweetest date night here with my boyfriend two big ice cream lovers, and Brooklyn Farmacy did not disappoint. We ordered the black & white milkshake and the caramel apple pie sundae. Both were delicious and massive. We couldn’t finish them, but every bite was worth it.

Another spot that took too long for me to visit. Now my favorite cocktail bar in New York. Every cocktail was amazing. The combination frozen Clover Club and frozen Pina Colada is unreal. And I had a dream about the Lava Lamp cocktail. The food is quite good too, we really enjoyed the deviled eggs and dips. Steak frites was fantastic. Service was friendly and we never waited a second for anything. And honestly, the place is cool as hell with atmosphere for days. Lived Clover Club and can’t wait

Deli that's open 24 hours, offering bagels baked on premises, plus a variety of sandwich options.
Stopped in for breakfast and was really impressed. The bagels are made fresh in house, and you can actually see them being made in the back, which was a nice touch. I got an Everything Bagel and it was fresh, flavorful, and had the perfect texture. I also ordered a cappuccino, which was surprisingly good. The foam was light and smooth, and the coffee itself was well balanced and not overly bitter. Overall, a great breakfast spot with fresh food, quality coffee, and friendly service. I’ll defin

Casual, cash-only French cafe with an open kitchen and an atmospheric back garden.
If you want a perfect place for a romantic date, look no further. Even from outside you can't miss this place due to a multiple lights and decorations, once you inside, it is almost like in your childhood feritale. They have truly devoted great deal to the decorations and details, including running spring. As for the food, we just stop by to get a dessert, but ended up to get a few appetizers as well. Crispy cornflakes chicken was okay, and warm seafood salad was just a variety of mussels,

Decent Italian spot overall. The pizza was okay, not bad, but not especially memorable either. The mussels dish we ordered was actually really good and probably the highlight of the meal. Visiting this Dunkin’ location in Brooklyn was a convenient and pleasant experience. The place has a fast-paced but organized atmosphere, typical for a busy coffee and snack spot in the city. The very best chocolate cake and the mint chip ice cream has been a revelation since their day 1 opening at their first location. Only reason I'm not giving 5 stars is because of the shrinkflation serving of chocolate cake - that slice has gotten smaller and smaller every year and at this point, it's just ungenerous. Charge me another buck or two and make it at least big enough so that the edges aren't ragged. At this rate, it looks like you're getting about 16 slices of cake out of a single cak

5/5! F&F is my current favorite cheese and pepperoni slice in NYC. I came here after seeing Babish rate their slice a 9.9, and happy to say my high expectations were met. Both the tomato sauce (a hint of a slight red wine flavor) and mozzarella cheese are extremely high quality and flavorful, but the real shining star of their pizza is the crust. Perfectly charred (but not burnt), crispy and slightly chewy, with incredible seasoning and flavor. I also tried the Sicilian slice which was made wi

First came here in like 2019, been eating the same sandwich ever since. The Vegitalian is a perfect sandwich in my books; sweet, savory, salty, tangy. About $20 after a bag of Voodoo chips and a sandwich, it’s not the cheapest. It is what it is: an elevated sandwich in the elevated neighborhood of Carroll Gardens. Love this place!

I had an amazing experience at Gersi. I took my dad for his birthday over the holidays and when we arrived, they have a “happy birthday” sign on the table. Everyone working there was extremely friendly. The espresso martini I had was very tasty. We ordered three pastas to share… carbonara, spaghetti al limone with grilled chicken (my favorite) and rigatoni ragu. Delicious dishes! We will be back :)

It has been sometime since I visited this place so I was very happy it still was open. The wings here are great; fried crispy and then flavored. They have options like a dry rub, BBQ, and Buffalo. I love that they apply it generously and the flavor hits everytime. I like the atmosphere and outdoor seating. Compact restaurant offering pizza slices, negronis & beers amid an easygoing atmosphere.
Baby Luc’s won’t make you weep into your crust or anything, but that plain slice? The sauce is doing something quietly heroic that deserves more credit than it’s getting. The other slices are solid, dependably good in the way a reliable friend is good, not the friend with the motorcycle. It gets cozy in there, which is either charming or a personal space issue depending on your Tuesday. Still, I keep ending up back here, which is probably all a neighborhood pizza spot needs to accomplish.

Traditional Venezuelan eats doled out in a compact space with communal tables & rustic-cool touches.
I ordered the Grilled Chorizo Bowl. Overall it was pretty good, but the chorizo was a little dry. I was expecting a stronger traditional smoky and salty flavor, but this version tasted lighter and more mild. On the positive side, it did feel a bit healthier and not too greasy. The bowl was fresh and filling, just wish the chorizo had more flavor.

Didn’t really enjoy my experience. While the staff are attentive initially by providing water and menus, there were a lot of times where we had to ask them for things like water and coffee refill. They would never really check on us until way later. Shop wasn’t busy either. I also ordered the athenian pita and for the price it was very small and bland. I’ll give this place four stars because it was pretty good for the price. Bill before tip was $47 for a $14 glass of Lambrusco (bartender gave me a decent pour), lasagna, and tiramisu. If you’re looking for authentic Italian, this is probably not the place. The place is run by a Chinese guy who speaks spanish to the rest of the staff. Relaxed eatery highlighting Le Marche cuisine with specialties like Ascolana olives & cremini.
I’d been craving Italian for a while, so we tried Cremini’s in Brooklyn last weekend. For a neighborhood spot, it was quite nice, and the owner was very pleasant. I really liked that they focus on food and wine from the Marche region, which you don’t see that often and makes for some unique options compared to a typical Italian menu. Incredddddible ramen spot. I will definitely be coming back. I’m not vegan or vegetarian but ordered Captain Brooklyn III for the spice factor and loved it. It’s a sichuan style ramen with vegan meat. Highly recommend it. Point Blank ramen was delicious as well, the broth is lighter than the Captain Brooklyn III and was a medium-spice. Planted Cafe — A Cozy Bohemian Spot for the Heatlhy Foodie There is a specific kind of vibe that happens when a kitchen decides that "healthy" doesn’t have to mean "compromise." The food here is great, there’s no getting around that but the prices are like going to the stadium. I’ve lived within a block of this place since the opening and would come here once a week if a standard size hot dog wasn’t 9 bucks. There’s no reason 2 hot dogs shouldn’t be $10 bucks all in. Instead I come here maybe 2 times a year. For a neighborhood lacking a lunch spot, this is it but not at these prices. (Order: Hot dog, small thing of potato salad and a Coke Zero = $17 bucks.
