Cozy, brick-walled Japanese eatery and sake bar, offering yakitori, noodles, and sushi, plus happy hours.
Sake Bar Hagi in New York is a great place to eat after going to the theater. It’s located right across the street, which makes it very convenient. Overall, the atmosphere is warm, cozy, and perfect for spending time with your partner. The food is authentic and stays true to Japanese flavors, which we really appreciated. The service could use a few adjustments, but nothing too unusual considering the cultural style of hospitality. One issue we experienced was with the billing — we wanted to see

I love this place! Hard to beat the atmosphere - kind of a dive but also with great food and cocktails, especially the vodka cocktails and infused vodka! The dumplings are delicious as well as the pickled mushrooms! Sometimes they have performers like this cat in the video I'm posting. Felt a little like we were in a karaoke room, guy had excellent energy! Bartenders are friendly and competent and not overly in your face or pretending to be interested in you. Exactly what I want in a bartender!

Festive downstairs restaurant with an old-school setting & traditional Southern Italian cuisine.
Valentine’s Day lunch here was perfection! They had special Valentine’s Day cocktails and I ordered the Love Potion (Prosecco with strawberry purée) — it was delicious and lived up to the name. Warm fresh bread with lentil spread came to the table and it was flavorful! We shared a Caprese salad and Pasta Fagioli, both super fresh and comforting. For mains, the Ossobuco (veal shank over saffron risotto) was melt-in-your-mouth tender, and the Rigatoni Buttera (rigatoni pasta with sausage in spicy

The food here is simply delicious. My husband chose one of the dinner specials. It was chicken in a light gravy with garlic, mashed potatoes and roasted brussels sprouts. Sounds simple yes? But trust me it was elevated to the next level. The chicken was so tender, and the gravy was indeed light and reminiscent of a wonderful chicken gravy that we enjoyed on our cruise last summer. I chose spinach ravioli in a butter sauce. My experience with sage tends to be on the bitter side. But this sage w

Relaxed neighborhood hangout specializing in hamburgers, plus traditional pub food, brunch & drinks.
My sister my girlfriend, and I stopped in for some quick beers. The pub was packed but we got a table almost instantly. All of our phones were super low on battery but luckily they rent phone chargers at the front. We sat down and got immediately greeted by our waitress she was very nice, and punctual. Then another man came over and started chatting with us and he was super cool. We didn’t grab food but it was a great spot with great service and lovely workers.

Had a really great experience at Van Leeuwen Ice Cream on 6th Ave in New York. The staff was super friendly and welcoming, and there’s such a great variety of ice cream flavors to choose from. I especially loved that you can sample flavors beforehand, which makes choosing so much more fun. They also offer many vegan options, different cup and cone choices, plus lots of toppings. Everything tasted delicious! There are also nice seating areas across the street, making it a perfect spot to enjoy

My wife and I visited NYC for the 2nd time during a blizzard. We stopped by Gregory Coffee before a show which was eventually canceled. It was great to warm up in their shop and have a warm beverage while we stood in line. Gregory’s has fast service, a fun atmosphere, and great customer service. We ordered a hot almond milk matcha latte. It’s not sweet but you can add sweetener but still very well prepared and good if you want a healthier drink.

The handwashing sink was missing, blocked, or without soap, hot water, or towels.

I generally make it a point to avoid restaurants in hotels - except when I'm in NYC. I've had some is the best meals in hotel restaurants. And Serafina, in the 2nd floor of The Time Hyatt is no exception. I had dinner there last night which was excellent, and then just popped down for a quick breakfast. It was quiet this morning with just a few tables full. Light jazz was playing and the waiter was quck to refill my coffee. I had a fontana and herb omelet that was well prepared. Nice amount of

Good spot for a quick breakfast or lunch. We went here twice on our trip and both times the service was friendly and fast. They had a lot of sandwiches, baked goods, and snack options, among cooked breakfasts. The turkey sandwich came with a fair amount of meat and filling and the bagel was warm and tasted great. A little overpriced, but to be expected as it’s near Times Square.

Casual restaurant offering Mexican fare, including design-your-own burritos, tacos & bowls.
I ordered a chicken bowl and they gave me an extra protein for free. However it's an extra "hair" protein which is not the way I wanted. 1. I found hairs in my food (Not the 1st time btw). 2. Like other reviews, nasty attitude overall from employees 3. Saw them always putting pick up orders at the counter which makes ppl to wait in line to pick up their orders. Sometimes it takes 3-5 mins just to pick up the food. What is the point of having the pick up shelf then? 4. I didn't see any employees

Tried the viral donut spot I’m donut? with a friend. This really lives up with the Asian compliment of Not too sweet. We tried 4 flavors: * Original 🍩 – Highly recommend! No filling, but the dough itself is super soft and fluffy, with a light dusting of sugar on top. Simple, but done perfectly. * Sake 🍩 – The sake flavor wasn’t very strong, but the cream tasted really fresh and light. Overall a very enjoyable cream-filled donut. * Matcha Cream 🍩 – The matcha flavor is rich and slightly bi

During our one week stay we had breakfast there every morning. The quality of the food is amazing and also the coffee tasted great. Everything is freshly made directly in the bakery. Love this place. You must try their baked goods. Many vegan options and done right. Decor very zen. Reminds me of a cafe in Williamsburg with all the willow tree decor. They have a communal table but it’s a bit loud with teenage chatter. The front is more relaxed. Coffee is great and close to Bryant Park and Times Square.

I had an amazing experience at this nightclub! The atmosphere was electric, with great music that kept everyone on the dance floor all night. The DJ played a perfect mix of hits and party favorites. The lighting and sound system were top-notch, creating a vibrant vibe. The staff was friendly and attentive, and drinks were served quickly. Well, I was walking around Times Square in New York City and was craving something sweet. It was really late and I saw an ice cream shop—it was already closed, but I thought I’d come back because it looked nice and I had seen good reviews on Google. It was December 2025 and it was pretty cold, but I figured it was worth trying. A few days later I went back and tried the ice cream. They have a lot of flavors, all of them looked amazing. Price is different from the boards, which seems like a scam. Insanely overpriced pizza, you're better off ordering 2 whole pizzas somewhere else than a personal pizza here. Fountain machine was down as well, we weren't informed until after we purchased. The bottled drinks could hardly be called cold. However the gyros were quite good though the burgers are nothing special. Slightly dirty, and the bathroom floor is very slippery.

Ate here Jun. 23. I ordered via online which was a little late than the time I gave them but it was a bit busy. I got the chicken schwarma bowl with various add-ons and sauces (the pomegranate tahini is really good!) There is plenty of seating inside. Very nice and welcoming staff, I am from south Alabama and as soon as they found that out they wanted to ask all these questions about our football team and even put sweet home Alabama on the speakers and we all had a laugh. As we were walking around the Upper East Side, we saw some people carrying Mia’s Brooklyn shopping bags. Not quite a speakeasy since the door is marked and right off the main entrance to a busy subway. It’s definitely a hole in the wall but with plenty of swank and attitude. It’s subterranean and dark with red neon accents and a backlit bar for ambiance. The pizza from next door is delivered by the bartender and it’s really good.
