Had a really great experience at Van Leeuwen Ice Cream on 6th Ave in New York. The staff was super friendly and welcoming, and there’s such a great variety of ice cream flavors to choose from. My wife and I visited NYC for the 2nd time during a blizzard. We stopped by Gregory Coffee before a show which was eventually canceled. It was great to warm up in their shop and have a warm beverage while we stood in line. Gregory’s has fast service, a fun atmosphere, and great customer service. We ordered a hot almond milk matcha latte. It’s not sweet but you can add sweetener but still very well prepared and good if you want a healthier drink.

During our one week stay we had breakfast there every morning. The quality of the food is amazing and also the coffee tasted great. Everything is freshly made directly in the bakery. You had a clear view through the window where the bakers did their wonderful work. The service staff was very friendly and the ordering process was easy. Would recommend this place anytime if you're in NCY.

Love this place. You must try their baked goods. Many vegan options and done right. Decor very zen. Reminds me of a cafe in Williamsburg with all the willow tree decor. Price is different from the boards, which seems like a scam. Insanely overpriced pizza, you're better off ordering 2 whole pizzas somewhere else than a personal pizza here. Fountain machine was down as well, we weren't informed until after we purchased. The bottled drinks could hardly be called cold. We stopped by L’Ami Pierre- French Bakery yesterday for the first time and loved it! We ordered the ham and cheese croissant, the lemon meringue tart, and the cortado. Everything tasted amazing. We spent every morning here during our USA trip and each visit felt like the perfect start to our day. The food is absolutely delicious, the bagels are unforgettable and the service from Mamadou made us feel genuinely welcome every single time. Very nice and welcoming staff, I am from south Alabama and as soon as they found that out they wanted to ask all these questions about our football team and even put sweet home Alabama on the speakers and we all had a laugh. That diner was very memorable in presence and food service. I had asked for my muffin to be reheated and a box and napkins and they were never annoyed, If anything they were excited to help me!

Fantastic rooftop spot! Stumbled into Margaritaville’s 5 o’clock Somewhere bar and loved it. The views from the rooftop are great, the cocktails are delicious and well-made, and the staff went completely out of their way to be friendly and welcoming. I didn't get any food this time around, but the drinks and hospitality alone make this a major recommendation. Will definitely be back!

A cheap way for lunch or dinner with great ingredients. You can make your own bowl or burrito. I recommend mixing the ingredients for the burrito before adding rice and nori to ensure consistent flavor throughout. The big bowl costs $18 and the burrito $16, with an extra $1 for avocado in both options. The inside space is not big, but we found a free table without any problems.

As we were walking around the Upper East Side, we saw some people carrying Mia’s Brooklyn shopping bags. We were curious to know if the food was any good, so we stopped by the shop a little while later. The Upper East Side location is diagonally across from Milano Market(Italian Deli) on Third Avenue. We heard their chocolate blackout cake was famous, so we bought one that we love chocolate cake. The blackout cake didn’t look particularly impressive, and the taste was just average.

I love For Five coffee!! Every time I go in, the service is always so great! I come here at least once during the work week right around 7, and the smell of pastries and cookies as they open is always so delicious. Such friendly staff and always smiling!
