The first time I ordered, I chose the chicken fried rice and was amazed because it tasted like the Guyanese-Chinese food I used to eat 20 years ago from Liberty Ave. The second time I visited was on May 9, 2026 and decided to try the roast duck, chicken liver and gizzard and Rice Bowl house special fried rice; I was blown away! Excellent and tasty food in my opinion! Their house special fried is better than New Thriving’s and Kaieteur’s! Give them a try!

I love this place, I discovered it a month back & I’ve been hooked up ever since! First of all, I love the employees. They’re so sweet and friendly. The girl with the glasses in the morning is amazing! She makes the best drinks ever. 😍 I’ve tried the whole menu already. My favorite drink is the mocha haze 😋 and the waffles…. Absolutely loved Quan Sushi! The sushi and sashimi were fantastic, and the warm, welcoming atmosphere made the experience even better. The restaurant is small but very cozy. The wall decor tells the long history of this small unique Japanese restaurant. It’s a great place to sit down relax and enjoy high-quality sushi and its culture . Will definitely come back!

Ginger's is such a lovely and welcoming spot in Park Slope. Im Irish and a lesbian & the welcome i was given made me feel like I was just at home. The gorge bartenders even let me finish my drink as they cleaned around me as I only arrived when they called last orders. It is such a cool spot with a relaxed vibe. If you are in Park Slope definitely pop in and say hello to the lovely team here 😊

A true Brooklyn gem. This was the very first coffee shop I visited back in 2010 — and I’m honestly impressed they didn’t ruin it with unnecessary updates. I love coming here for a good and affordable drink! They have a photobooth ($7 for one strip) It gets pretty busy inside after 9pm so getting there early for a seat is recommended, but they also have outdoor seating :)

I stopped by here for a quick bite and was honestly pretty happy with the food. The chicken was super crunchy on the outside and stayed nice and juicy inside, just like you want it. Everything came out hot and the staff was friendly enough, which made for a solid lunch stop while I was on the road.

Pastasole Chelsea was a spot I've been curious about and a couple of days ago, having that notion of not knowing what to get for lunch, decided it was time and I am so glad I did. This is a medium-sized Starbucks with one accessible, gender-neutral restroom. The barista will share a code with your order. We ordered an Iced Green Tea and Cold Brew. There is limited half-booth seating and it wasn’t that busy on a Sunday afternoon in September. Would definitely recommend as a pit stop to refresh on your coffee or tea and use a clean restroom.

Kuun is an absolute must-visit for the best Korean food in Downtown Brooklyn! Our dinner was amazing. We started with crispy mandu, delicious kimbap, and savory jeon. The main dishes were spectacular: perfectly grilled LA kalbi BBQ and a rich, comforting seafood tofu soup. This place is amazing. Not my usual spot, was in the area and everything was closed for the blizzard. Saw this place and the slices looked good so I copped a whole pie, and WOW seriously one of my favorite pizzas I’ve had in a long time. I love For Five coffee!! Every time I go in, the service is always so great! I come here at least once during the work week right around 7, and the smell of pastries and cookies as they open is always so delicious. Such friendly staff and always smiling! Super solid old-style Polish spot. Food feels homemade, portions are big, and prices are very reasonable.
