How does one describe New York City's first all-glass office building? Mid-century design begins here. Completed in 1952, The Lever House marks the highest standard in the mid-century modern era. This public, open air design is the forefront to the dawn of mid-century architecture. The plaza feels ageless. With trees, the open-airiness can be felt. The right angles, from glass connections to steel, beam in sunshine, snow, fog, rain, or night. Even as the cityscape evolves around Park Ave, it

Such a charming little spot. The Little Book Shop has a really cozy, inviting atmosphere that makes you want to slow down and browse for a while. The selection feels thoughtful and well-curated, and the space itself is just warm and peaceful. Customer service was kind and welcoming without feeling overbearing, which I appreciated. It’s the kind of place you can pop into quickly or lose track of time in. Definitely a gem.

Dorms & private rooms in an industrial-chic hostel with free Wi-Fi, a hip bar & a rooftop terrace.
Amazing place for travellers on a budget! Lobby and bar are clean, staff is kind and accomodating, and the overall process of checking in and out are very easy. In your room, you are provided with a cozy duvet, pillow and a towel, along with a sizeable locker to store your items. The building is old, so i did notice a little mold in the shower room, but it's not a concerning amount in my opinion. Rooms themselves are clean, feature a separate toilet and shower room, and a large AC unit. Temperat

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at The Lowell as a family. What truly sets this hotel apart is the exceptional level of service — every member of the staff was incredibly attentive, warm, and especially kind and accommodating towards our family. They went out of their way to make us feel comfortable and welcome at all times, which made a big difference for us. The breakfast was a daily highlight: beautifully presented, fresh, and of outstanding quality. There was something for everyone, and

I’ve stayed at The London hotel for 20 years. My first visit was in 2006, and I was impressed with the room size, and well appointed suites. The bathrooms are large, featuring a double shower with beautiful tile. I stayed at The London again in mid June, and was not disappointed. I got in very early from a referee flight from Albuquerque, New Mexico, and I had breakfast and a drink in the bar after visiting the MOMA. I was given my high floor, corner suite, with beautiful bathroom with shower an

If I could give no star I would! We had our first room completely dirty, bathtub was full of body hair and nastiness all over ,the bathroom was all dirty, stains and whatnot on the bedding, the desk had food drinks etc stuck all over it and just all around dirty! The hallway leading to the room was smelly and stains everywhere it was beyond uncomfortable! None of the lights worked nor did the phone to call the desk. We’ve been in NY many times, but with a difference, this was the best hotel we’ve ever been to. The staff was extremely friendly! They were upgrading elevators, and we needed to use theirs. With all the inconveniences we may cause on their work, they were always helpful and extremely friendly with our family. The room was great, and the location to enjoy Manhattan is amazing. We booked a one-night stay at The Manner SoHo as a quick Valentine’s getaway from Boston to New York City to see a show, and it exceeded our expectations. The hotel was beautiful, spotless, and perfectly located in SoHo — quiet yet within easy walking distance of so many great restaurants and foodie spots. The design and ambiance are truly breathtaking, but what stood out most was the service. All of the staff were great, but Alejandro (Alex) welcomed us the moment we stepped onto the property,

Because of The Maze, I have met so many great people and expanded my sober community. Aside from kinship, The Maze offers great events including delicious NA tastings and food, interesting speaker & dinner series, superb wellness activities, intentional group gatherings, fun social events (e.g. Super Bowl Party, Galentines, Trivia & Comedy Night, etc.), and mor

My staycation was truly a great experience, and a huge part of that was because of Kendric. He genuinely goes above and beyond for every guest. From check-in to check-out, he was professional, attentive, and incredibly welcoming. You can tell he takes pride in what he does. I had the pleasure of photographing Vanessa and Matthew’s beautiful spring wedding at this venue, and I highly recommend it! The vibe was fantastic, and the space felt open and inviting. I especially loved the stained glass throughout the property—it added such unique character and an extra touch of elegance to the photos. Most of the staff were very friendly and welcoming. But honestly I don’t understand how this hotel is rated as 4 stars. I’ve stayed in other 4-star hotels in NYC and they were on a completely different level. • The rooms are extremely small. • There is no minibar, kettle, coffee machine, or many of the amenities you would normally expect from a 4-star hotel. • The view from the room was just a wall. • The room felt more stylish than comfortable. • The hotel lobby looks beautiful, but the a

Great location and staff is incredibly nice and welcoming. We book through the Amex Fine Hotel collection, we didn't receive a room upgrade which was a little disappointing but the room was still very nice and spacious for a New York Hotel. A wonderful first time experience at a Korean spa. I tried both the Aromatic Sugar Scrub w/ Honey Milk Silk Body Wrap and the 40-min. Basic K-Scrub. I found the Aromatic Sugar Scrub to be a more gentle and Western, but overall less satisfying, of the two experiences. The Basic K-Scrub felt so relaxing. I can see why this zoo is highly rated. I spent nearly the entire day there and saw almost the entirety of it - had the hurry at the end. Animals from nearly all parts of the globe. I recommend the SE entrance where you first see a waterfall and then the historic zoo buildings. You can scan the codes to get a map of the zoo that updates as you move along and can select what animals you want to see. There is a petting/feeding zoo for smallish children and a playground/climbing area. They've been

I photographed a networking event at this downtown venue and also had the chance to enjoy it as a guest, and it was an excellent experience. From a photographer’s perspective, the space is stylishly designed and visually dynamic, which makes it perfect for capturing clean, well-lit photos using flash. An upscale rooftop hotel lounge with cocktails, Asian-fusion fare & views of the Manhattan skyline.
We were there for Sunday brunch at 1145am. It was a beautiful roof top restaurant with a great view. The 10 course small meals were small but really filling by number 7 or 8th. They were all very delicious. The experience I love the most other than the food was the Dandy Wellington band. The soft fun jazz music set a great atmosphere for the overall dinning experience. Of course, the service and attention to detail with all the wait staff, coordinator made my whole lunch with a great friend extr

Boasting almost 200 years of history, The players is a private members only. You need a few of the members to recommend you, go through vetting process and hefty membership fee later, you can find yourself a member. The stage here is amazing, with the most perfect lighting and setup, the interior and the paintings and most importantly the history and conversation that go on here are truly inspiring. I am not sure what is wrong with the management at this facility. Two of their maintenance workers or porters spend half the day and night hanging out directly in front of my window. After reading a bunch of reviews about how the staff was so welcoming and nice I was thoroughly disappointed when checking in for my stay-cation with my fiance. The woman checking us in was so rude! She was very short and honestly seemed mad that we booked with a capital one points? She didn’t tell us about anything in the hotel or offerings we had.
