The menu here gives me new things to recommend each visit. The staff offered remarkable customer attention and the food was exceptional. El Monumento uses ingredients worth the effort. The buzz about El Monumento doesn't do it justice. This place gave me a smooth experience.

This restaurant is, unfortunately, a completely incompetent establishment. The customer service is unacceptable, and the staff running it are consistently disorganized and unprofessional. I placed an order and was told it would be ready in 30 minutes. An hour after they claimed to be open, I was then told they had not even started preparing the food yet. I adjusted and told them I would arrive at 12:30, which I did. When I got there, the door was locked. I called and was told to wait another 10

This is a tiny modern Caribbean kitchen spot in Jamaica, Queens. They are serving up a nice mix of classic Jamaican dishes along with some healthy salads, soups, and interesting options like coconut rice. Large orders can expect a longer wait time so order those in advance! Rasta Pasta with Shrimp 9/10 The pasta is creamy and a little bit more than al dente which I like. There was a lot of shrimp and it was seasoned perfectly and cooked just enough so that it stayed moist and tender! Rasta Pas

Randomly came across this restaurant on google maps and so happy I did! The food was incredible!! We had akra, oxtail Mac, lamb chops, and kale salad. All of which was incredibly fresh and absolutely delicious. It appears everything is made to order so it did take a little while but was worth the wait.

Boisterous nightclub featuring cocktails, a hookah lounge, DJs & dancing in a dark, modern interior.
It was really spacious. You can't bring your vape or hookah pen. The music was very good, the dj played variety of songs. Hookah is $40 cranberry is $11. It was only one hookah girl so it took a while. You can sit in any open space untill someone pays for a table then you have get up; other than that I enjoyed myself.

It’s so refreshing when you try a black / Caribbean owned restaurant and have no complaints. The guy that served me was super nice and friendly. The restaurant was extremely clean. It’s a mix of Guyanese, Jamaican and Trinidadian. The menu is extensive but not overwhelming. So many great options, I couldn’t decide on one thing so I decided to try an Ackee patty, a lunch special meal which consisted of rice and peas, fried chickens and cabbage and a shark burger with sweet potato fries. First time coming here and the food was excellent. I had the jerk chicken with rice n peas and cabbage. It was cooked with love and inexpensive. Drinks were done right. I had the rum punch and coconut margarita. However the cups it was served in definitely not worth $15. Please change that. Music was good though I preferred more reggae for being a Caribbean lounge. Service was excellent never waited long for food or drinks to come out. Our server who is also bartender was super sweet and attenti

Wasn’t even warmed up proper, had no flavor. asked her for two pieces of bread she gave me eight. she overcharges by a lot not even worth it. The place itself has nice decor and it’s clean but the food is trashhh. betting into my beef patty, and for some reason found black pieces of stuff in it 🤮🤮🤮???!!! zero flavor and was not worth it,would not go back here, was expecting so much more better since the place itself looked go

Once upon a time this place used to be the spot!! I’m not sure what’s happening there but after my third disappointing order they deserve a review. Firstly I waited almost 3 hours for the delivery. I ordered pork and chicken. I got 2 pieces of pork bones and 3 pieces of pork skin that was charred and too burnt to be eaten. The packaging was a disgrace. By the time I got the food all the sauce was already in the bag. I’m keeping my distance. I’M DISAPPOINTED!! But I bet the owners don’t care.

Do these bakes look fresh? Tough back man going to tell me that the bakes were fried this morning as if I have not previously order from them or I'm new to eating bakes and saltfish. The bakes were stale and not even crispy on the outside, when I went to ask for refund he denied that the bakes was stale. I'm calling my bank to charge it back.

Best Jamaican sweet potato pudding in all of New York City. I know Brooklyn has some good competition when it comes to Jamaican Restaurants but Chef Lothian’s pudding secret recipe never disappoints. It is sweetened just right with just enough shredded coconut to give it a wicker flavor. A little pricey but worth it. Not to mention it’s one of the few Jamaica restaurants anywhere that serve “Turn Meal” aka “Turn Corn Meal”. It’s the perfect side of carbs instead of rice or provisions when you f

The only thing that you could even say about this place, that’s bad is that it’s small. However, get your food and get out that’s the motto right. The food is super tasty. Great smells wonderful customer service right in your face. Easy to deal with you place your order when you leave I got the chicken curry. It was decent. Very tasty And the was good too. One of the few places that actually have happy hour on a Friday. Place was empty when we got there but more people started coming over time. Rum punch was good (can’t really go wrong with rum punch) and the food was good. Wasn’t too crazy about the sauce for the calamari and I wish they were bigger. Also would have liked the cheese to be more melted on the loaded fries and I didn’t get any jerk chicken flavor on the chicken. The chicken tastes good but it was like regular grilled chicken. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Golden Blue Restaurant Bar and Grill is hands down my favorite Haitian restaurant and one of the most beautiful community hubs you will ever experience. The food is consistently delicious, flavorful, authentic, and made with so much care. Every dish feels like home. I’ve known the owner for almost 20 years, and what makes this place truly special is not just the cuisine, but the spirit behind it. Went here for Monday $25 crab leg deal.. Ordered Vegetable Chow Mein as a starter. We asked the "waitresses" to get it first since it is a Starter and it came after our main dish. The Chow Mein was tasteless, and presented on this huge plate with broccoli, corn, and it was so bland. We ordered Lemon Drop Martinis that were overtly diabetes sweet. Since things were bad, they offered us a round of drinks on the house. Again, more of horrible. Place has horrible sound. People were yelling over RNb

I honestly enjoyed the food a lot! The chicken wings were tasty. Love the sweet chili flavouring! The vege Rasta pasta had an amazing flavor! I love onions and peppers which it didn’t have, but I actually was pleasantly surprised I enjoyed the mixed veges! I loved the sweet and sour chicken, absolutely enjoyed it (just wished it had the onions and peppers lol) The oxtails were yummy and in a perfect world, it would have a bunch of butter beans!! Was looking for something around the conservatory to grab and go for a picnic lunch. Based on the reviews, we were looking forward to it. Haven’t had Caribbean in a while and we’re craving some decent oxtail. The setup is very simple with a bunch of trays of food and all the classics, including beef patties. Was also surprised to see they have pizza on the menu. We picked up some rice, oxtail, mac n cheese, turkey(?) wing and stewed beef. If you get more than $11.95pp, they throw in a free sod

Some people prefer quality over quantity. But this was both. Most cheesiest rasta pasta $12 and added jerk chicken $7 iv ever eaten. Also the portion size was so much that the container couldn't close. Check them out. I'd recommend.

This place makes the best Haitian food I've had in years! I used to go to Good Taste but they've gotten rather expensive and super stingy with their portions. This place, on the other hand, offers better food at cheaper prices and MUCH larger portions. Their Griot is sheer perfection, the joumou is great, and their chicken and legume is on another level. They are also very friendly and remember your name. You MUST stop here and grab a bite!

This is an awesome little spot! Nad’s Roti Shop & Restaurant. So many times we pass by these small restaurants without a second look, but I’m here to tell you this place is in a league of its own when it comes to fresh Caribbean home-style cuisine. Just like your grandma and mom would make — fresh, flavorful, perfectly seasoned every time. I’ve been eating here for years and never had a bad experience. Always friendly and courteous staff. I went to The Six with my sister, who’s visiting from Indiana, and I can honestly say this has been one of the best dining experiences I’ve had in a long time. Hands down, this is the best Jamaican restaurant in the Bronx—period. I’ve been to Jamaica (Montego Bay) three times, and I can confidently say the food here surpasses what I’ve had there. The service is truly top-tier: attentive, genuine, and full of positive energy. If I could give you a zero believe me it would be too high! First of all please stick with food you can cook. I bought oxtail and rice and peas from here today, the rice and peas was mush, it was actually dripping water plus they still covered it with gravy!!! The oxtail felt like they had just put it in the pot to cook and took it out to sell, it was tough! Why do you people do this??

I love this spot, I’ve been coming here for years. This is the only Jamaican restaurant that I will eat from. It is extremely clean and they are very strict when it comes to cleanliness and I love that. You are required to sanitize your hands and wear gloves that they provide before touching any of the utensils. The food is always excellent and it’s been consistent throughout the years.
