Updated Indian cuisine & full bar, presented in a modern setting with dramatic, colorful decor.
We came here prior to a play and so ate from their pre fixe menu. We had the samosas , the chicken and the lamb kabobs(we were 3). The kabobs were juicy and tender; the samosas very tasty. We shared the butter chicken and the lamb josh stew. Delicious. The desserts were also tasty. Our server, Alusha, was helpful, knowledgeable and attentive. Her helper, Shankar, was also attentive and courteous.

The food at Indian Accent was undoubtedly well prepared, beautifully presented, and full of interesting flavors. The service was also professional and attentive throughout the meal. That said, I left feeling somewhat disappointed by the overall dining format. Couple of dishes were absolutely avoidable and tasted as if made at home. For a restaurant positioned as a premium tasting experience, the portions are extremely small, which makes the meal feel less satisfying than expected. My biggest c

24-hour fast-food joint serving gyros, kebabs & falafel in a tiny, low-key space.
For $12.50 you get a huge portion of lamb and chicken over rice, plenty of veggies and a can of soda. The veggies are fresh and taste good but for some reason the lamb and chicken really lacks flavor. Even with the white and red sauce, and seasoning. I thought it was just me but my buddy and his sister also said the meat didn’t have any taste. You get a lot of it though and it will fill you up. My local 24 hour bodega and the other one a few blocks away make MUCH tastier lamb and chicken. Also

I had a great experience at Karahi King Restaurant. I ordered the chicken biryani, daal, naan, and two shish kebabs, and everything tasted fresh and full of flavor. The biryani was well-seasoned, the daal was comforting and delicious, and the naan was soft and perfectly cooked. The shish kebabs were juicy and nicely spiced. On top of the great food, the prices are very reasonable for the quality and portions you get. Definitely a spot worth visiting again if you’re craving fresh, tasty South As

This is my favorite place to eat Indian food. I go every weekend and the food is fresh and the service is great. The prices are also great. Today the waiter told me to order the lamb chops next which I will. I unfortunately forgot his name but he seems to be there every Saturday for lunch hours and he provides great service.

Stylish, relaxed restaurant serving regional specialties from Southern India, plus cocktails and wine.
Getting a reservation at Semma in NYC is one of the hardest in the city, but after finally dining there, it’s easy to see why. Every dish felt thoughtful, bold, and deeply rooted in authentic South Indian flavors while still presented in a refined, elevated way. The lobster dish was one of the biggest highlights of the meal. The lobster was perfectly cooked and coated in a rich, creamy spiced sauce that had incredible depth and balance. It was indulgent, flavorful, and truly unforgettable. The

A friend of mine came to Manhattan to see me in a film festival and saw Annapuran Bhavan restaurant nearby and we decided to eat there. I only had Indian food a few times so I was somewhat new to eating Indian cuisine but the staff was patient when I was deciding what to order and even explained some of the dishes to me. I stopped in to buy a container of doi dessert. I come home to find MOLD filled in the container. I called to get a refund to my credit card and they made every excuse not to refund my purchase. They expect me to drive 40 minutes back to get another item. Absolutely disgusting. They also made me wait 15 minutes just to get one container of Doi and instead served 5 customers in the hotline that came in after me even though it would take 10 seconds to grab a container.

Everything we tried was well-balanced and beautifully presented. A special thanks to Chef Aman for the dahi kebab—it was truly outstanding! Soft, creamy, and full of flavor, definitely one of the highlights of our meal. The service was warm and welcoming, and the overall ambiance made the experience even more enjoyable. The "best Biryani in NYC"! Seems recently renovated and no longer a small how in the wall as previous photos suggest. Had the paneer biryani and it was bursting with flavor. Not spicy, very balanced, generous paneer. Then garlic naan fresh out of the oven is perfectly crispy. Left feeling stuffed and satisfied. Service was quickly and friendly. A good stop for lunch of after work dinner.

We made a Mother’s Day lunch reservation at Bukhara Grill after previously enjoying their food at a family wedding last year. Based on that experience, we were really looking forward to dining at the restaurant itself. It’s a cute little indian fast food place. Their prices are very reasonable right around Grand Central. Their samosas are puff pastries with spicy mashed potato filling which is different than deshi samosas, but tastes good. The tandoori rolls are actually really delicious. Everything tasted incredibly fresh, authentic, and 'clean.' I even grabbed a variety of appetizers to take home for the rest of the kids! Came to check out this spot based on the hype from my friends, and our experience was that the food was nice but nothing crazy. Starting off, the service and ambiance were good. Here is what we ordered: Fried Fish: Was nothing special. We expected something amazing since it's one of the most expensive appetizers. Aloo Chaat: This was good. Chicken Dum Biryani: Very flavorful and our clear favorite of the night. Dal Makhni with Roti: The dal makhni tasted authentic. Rose milk was just try too Ove

Very busy restaurant serving up solid Indian food. I would not say it is spectacular but it can scratch a real itch for medium spice. The mulethi was a nice classic fruit-forward tart gin drink with a cool presentation. The golgappa was fun (it's pani puri for fuschka to me) and I liked the mint chili the most, and this one had a cool presentation too. The murg makhani was decent and the biryani was OK but not as deeply flavored. I think taht's my main critique if I had one: the flavor depth wa

So we were really bummed about not getting a dosa when we almost passed this life saver by because we couldn’t see the tables inside in the back. We had a great experience. Kabab aur Sharab is a fantastic addition to the NYC Indian food scene, offering a really impressive spread of North Indian cuisine. The palak paneer and garlic naan were easily the best we’ve had, and the masala tea ice cream was an excellent, unique finish to the meal. Soups 🍲, salads 🥗, appetizers, entrees, lunch specials, dinner specials, sides, desserts 🍨 and beverages ☕️ are on the menu. I ordered chicken 🐔 soup and two dinner specials that offer customers a choice of appetizer, entree and one naan bread. The food was average in taste and flavor. Very friendly and helpful staff.
Shelves, ledges, or equipment exteriors aren't clean or easy to clean.

Snug, unassuming Indian eatery specializing in traditional Punjabi meals, with free delivery.
Amazing food and warm service—but the Sohna Punjab Signature Chili Rice truly stole the show! The flavor was so outstanding that I couldn’t resist ordering two more to take home for my daughters. Absolutely memorable! My favorite place—only Sohna Punjab!

Consequently, we will not be returning for breakfast at this establishment. We advise against selecting their breakfast offerings unless one has a specific local preference for their options and taste; otherwise, it is recommended to consider alternative choices.
