I came here for drinks and appetizers on a Sunday after 6 pm, and the appetizers were delicious! And the drinks are very strong. I decided to come and try their mains on a Tuesday around 3 pm. The protein and rice tasted reheated. The baked wings were not good. The bread is the standout item on this menu.

Always love this place ands have been ordering from here for years. They have great flavors and dishes. Great Indian food in the area. We love the vegetarian options and this time sitting in the restaurant was nice. Never had strawberry lassi only mango so this was a nice change! The mulligatawny soup was very tomatoey which is different and not really any veggies in it but still tasty. Great staff, very helpful and nice. Credit card/ApplePay accepted.

Massive dosas, actually really good price to value. I have been twice and to be frank I would be fine with 50% less size for 40% less cost. Partly this is me adding too much. Partly it's the excellent flavor. The bhaji and the spiced potatoes are excellent and the main attractions I think. I would probably advise against ordering more than three toppings. The dosa itself is crispy on the outside in a nice way. Of the three sauces the spicy one kicks well, really well.

We had a great family dinner here after our courthouse wedding and it was so special and memorable! We really appreciated how the kitchen accommodated everyone's dietary restrictions (our party had vegans, vegetarians, and people with allergies!) and the service was amazing! We were seated in the backyard patio which has impeccable vibes, and the food and drinks were delicious! We will certainly be back again for future visits and would definitely recommend Indian Table for celebrating special o

Excellent service and delicious food! The food was well-prepared, tasty, and fresh. Everything appeared spotless and well-organized, and the hot food and pastries were great. Long-running, unfussy locale with late hours preparing typical Indian recipes to eat in or take out.
I ordered chicken curry, but it was way too oily. There was a large amount of oil separated from the gravy, which made the dish heavy and unpleasant to eat. The chicken itself was okay, but the excess oil ruined the overall experience. I hope the restaurant improves the quality and balances the oil better in their curry.

Delicious and inventive food. Everything had a great blend of flavors and textures, where all the ingredients remained distinct and the composition was better than the parts. The crispy lacha paratha was one of the best I've had. The morels korma was excellent. I'll be back to try more. The atmosphere is pretty relaxed and the food was well paced, I never felt under pressure to leave.

Apna Pind offers excellent food with top-quality entrées that truly stand out. Each dish is rich in flavour, fresh, and well prepared, making it a great spot for authentic taste. The starters are especially impressive and worth trying. The only small downside is that the service can feel a little slow at times, but overall the food quality more than makes up for it. After being a customer for more than three years, today was the final straw. This will be my last visit to this restaurant. I ordered Goat Biryani that was listed on the menu for $20, yet I was charged $25. I have photos of both the menu and the receipt. As a loyal customer, I expected honesty and consistency, but instead I left feeling completely disappointed. What is even more frustrating is how drastically the food quality has declined. The biryani I received looked and tasted nothing like

Always outstanding service and willing to get my Tika masala just the right level of spicy for me. Not a beer fan but their 1947 and Taj Mahal are both super. We eat here about 4x a year and have never had a bad meal. They were even kind enough to divide our shared ice cream in three for us. Also, the portions are deceptive. Had an amazing meal at Sunshine Restaurant today and honestly, everything we tried was just spot on 👌 We ordered aalu paratha, gobhi paratha, poori chana, chicken kadai, and lassi — and every single item tasted fresh, flavorful, and made with care. The parathas were perfectly cooked, soft inside with just the right crisp outside. Poori chana was comforting and full of authentic taste, just like homemade. The chicken kadai had a rich, well-balanced gravy with great spices — not too heavy, just

This is the best Indian food I have had in New York City! The Restaurant has a large menu to choose from. I have had dishes such as the very popular Chicken Tikka Masala, Chicken Vindaloo, Chicken Achaari, Garlic Naan, Spinach and Cheese Naan. The portion of my dish was a good size because I was full after eating. The food was super delicious and my friends agreed. I am looking forward to going back.
We arrived at the restaurant a bit late on a Thursday night, just after 9:40 pm, but they still graciously accommodated us. The staff was incredibly warm and welcoming. The décor beautifully reflects Indian culture, and the ambiance is lively with Bollywood music playing in the background. As for the food, it was fantastic. My friends and I came here for dinner tonight and got the dinner specials. Everything was delicious and the food portions were excellent. We highly recommend this establishment for a nice lowkey dinner and we would come here again. Dine-in service was excellent too. Great reasonable pricing. We spent around $25/person with tip. Wifey wanted Indian and we’ve been looking for a place that can hit the spot so we came here for a quick dinner. No wait was seated right away. It’s a big hall with tables and a bar. Definitely a spot to host a gathering or a party. Service was quick but not very friendly or welcoming. Ordered a few things and everything was tasty. Wifey does not like spicy and the korma was perfect according to her. I enjoyed the samosa and tried something new in the dahi bhalla chaat. It was tasty.

New management, changes in price which is overpriced. Ordered fish fry/Pakora ($15.99) which is one of favorite but less quantity (8/9). Butter chicken ($15.99) was too oily and more gravy than chicken quantity. Butter Naan ($2 each) was okay!! Only positive thing is, their meats (chicken & Goat) are Halal.

I was disappointed with my experience. The food did not seem freshly prepared. Instead, it appeared that previously cooked food was reheated or mixed together and presented as fresh. The buffet service was also unusual and inconvenient. Rather than allowing customers to choose their own portions, all of the food was placed onto a single plate, which defeats the purpose of a buffet. The restroom was another concern. It was not clean and reminded me of a poorly maintained public transit restroom

Not only that, but the two chicken leg pieces i ordered were raw. It happened so many times I think one time I specked to owner this is the very bad food in the ozone park ..

It took a good 2 mins for us to see someone come out & even know if they were open. They didn’t have both the items we asked for, a good 2 hours before closing time. New York has no shortage of burger joints, but an Indian burger spot? It was a first for me, and Rowdy Rooster made sure it was a memorable one. A classic NYC hole-in-the-wall, this place is almost designed to be missed. Blink, check your phone, or dodge one too many pedestrians, and you've walked right past it. Try not to, it's worth the stop. Pricing sits a little on the higher side for a combo, but let's be honest - this is New York. The burgers are bold, satisfying, and built to impress. I

For a holiday lunch, we experienced a quiet and relaxing ambience. Service was timely and pleasant, and establishment was clean. Our food came out in a timely manner, portions were big, and each curry came with its own rice. Our favorite appetizer was the batata dahi puri, as it was sweet and spicy, with a balanced medley of flavors. The bhel leaned more sweet, but with some yogurt felt perfect. The curries were great, with the malai kofta being sweeter and Chana masala being spicy. For breads,

We went there on a Friday evening in April on our way from the LaGuardia airport to Penn Station (we took the Q33 bus from LGA to there). We wanted to have dinner somewhere in the area and this place looked decent, though it could use a makeover. We saw quite a few people sitting in a table and chatting, though there was no food in front of them. This reminded us of India where people chat for hours.
