We were seated outside of the main dining area. We made a reservation. The table was ready for us but there was no staff/hostess and the bartender was on the phone. Apple store closed in Christmas unlike 24hours near Plaza. Thus, all crowds clustered to opposite staircase, Cipriani Dolci's entrance. By far the best Italian restaurant in Brooklyn! We hosted a wedding party here and the experience was fantastic and unforgettable! Leo was exceptional and provided outstanding, professional leadership and made our night perfect! We truly felt special and enjoyed the atmosphere and food. Tasty spot for pizza and and/or drinks located in the heart of the West Village. It does get crowded, particularly on weekends, so making a reservation in advance is the way to go. Both the Burrata pizza, with creamy cheese and fresh tomatoes, as well as the Soppressata pizza, with a perfect balance of sweet and spicy, are great items to order. Though the ambiance inside is also nice, I prefer their outdoor seating for a lively feel.

The steak price was high with zero sides given which I think is silly. Considering this not a top notch steak house. The two hispanic guys that usually bring the deliveries, they both are very nice, respectful , and always behave in a professional manner. Randomly found this place in Hells Kitchen. My cousin was in town and she just wanted good Italian food! Il Melegrano was a pleasant surprise. It had a great ambiance and the staff were lovely. Pasta on both dishes were hard, I got the Cacio e Pepe 26$ dish for very mild sauce and pasta was hard so basically undercooked. Wife dish sauce was good but again pasta undercooked. Portions are smaller and service was mid tear. 2 pastas with about 70$ with tip. To be honest it was a very mid line meal for an expensive dinner.
