Came here for lunch, and loved it. It’s been a while since I’ve had a comforting and tasty lunch like this. Ordered the tuna poke, soupy rice with salmon, iced lemonade green tea, and an egg sandwich. All simple, clean, and flavorful. You wait in line and she will make the food by each order. The food comes out fairly quickly. I read a sign in there that said the cafe will close early if they’ve sold out. We came earlier in the day but something to consider if you’re going closer to closing tim

wow. I came here for mother’s day with my parents and I was surprisingly so impressed. I normally would never eat hibachi but this place was amazing! I ordered the scallops, shrimp and steak hibachi and everything was perfectly cooked and seasoned. I literally could not stop eating. The hibachi chef was so nice and the prices were great! Will definitely be coming back often.

Trying to give six stars. Best seaweed salad I’ve ever had, which was a surprise because I ordered it on a whim and didn’t expect a whole plate of seaweed I’d never had before excellently seasoned with shredded daikon radish in a crisp yuzu dressing with cucumber and tomato. The textures and refreshing flavor were something I’m going to dream about. And then we were served complimentary matcha udon sticks which were addictive and I would regularly buy them in a large bag for snacking if such a t

This an interesting joint as focusing on fluffy pancake per franchise way… We ordered 3 different breakfast for trial: Pancakes With Berries, Eggs Benedict With Salmon, and Fried Chicken With Pancakes. Hazelnut Coffee was over sweetened, another juicy drink was good but a bit small. The dishes have good presentations and tasty. For a different breakfast once a while. In addition to Friendly staffs and quick delivery. A nice change.

Wow! What a great find and I wish the owner much success! It’s a non-traditional Japanese inspired tasting course for a little over $100 The menu is seasonal and features everything from land to sea. Each of the two seatings is around 75 mins but even 1.5hr was not enough to just enjoy; the pacing was a tad fast, especially towards the end. Seating is also very different, in a U shape, so it does give a communal feeling and you can always watch the chefs in the open kitchen. Love the concept a

stumbled across this place afterschool with my friends and wow we were pleasantly surprised! the restaurant's atmosphere and decorations were so cozy and themed perfectly! the sushi rolls are presented in such an artistic way and the fish quality is so fresh. the mango roll especially was my favorite, the mango was so sweet and it matched perfectly with the shrimp tempura. all in all i would recommend this place for anyone who is looking for an affordable sushi spot that is also family-owned!

The vibe is relaxed and perfect for unwinding after a night out. It’s right in the heart of the East Village, and the owner is incredibly kind and welcoming. Food: Where do I even begin with the ramen? It’s phenomenal. One bowl in and you’ll feel like you’ve been transported to the streets of Japan, craving something warm and comforting. Absolutely mouthwatering, I was ready for a nap afterward. The gyoza is just as impressive. I’m usually hesitant because it’s often overfried at other spots ne

Small cosy place was full when I ate. Chicken karaage nicely done with a nice dipping sauce and a fresh juicy wedge of lemon. Chashu was tender and melt in your mouth. The tsukumen ramen was better textured with a tasty dipping but the classic was not that bad too! Broth was flavourful. Appreciate the nice chilli flakes on request. Kiku has become one of my favorite spots in Brooklyn. I come here often and always enjoy their consistently delicious food. Some of my go-to dishes are the shrimp tempura – perfectly crispy with a light batter and served with a sauce that balances sweet and savory beautifully. The udon stir-fried with vegetables is also a comfort dish for me, flavorful and not too heavy. My absolute favorite, though, is the unagidon (grilled eel over rice), which is always fresh and beautifully presented – jus

They have super filling and delicious poke bowls here!! One poke bowl only costs $12 and there are a ton of toppings and sauces you can add. I recommend getting the mango (which I've never seen in any other poke place before) alongside one sweet and one spicy sauce. Customer service is also great as the clerks are very welcoming. They'll hand you your own paper to fill out what you want to order and all you need to do is hand it in and pay to get your food.

In a week of incredible experiences, this may be my fave! I’m not sure what to call this place beyond what they say! Go to listen. Have an incredibly tasty drink and snack but listen. Just listen. I have music. I’ve collected for years but I doubt I, alone, could create this experience at home. And even if I had the music, no way could I recreate the sound. I didn’t hear one song I had but every song brought back a precious memory. I heard sounds that stirred emotions. From War, to rap, to reg

The sushi here is good and the prices are very reasonable compared to others. I always come here for party trays but they're very small and they can only make so much so fast. There are a few times I ordered online and it gives me a 20 ETA but when I get there after the ETA it still like another 15-30mins. Funny enough there was this one time I was heading there within 20mins of my order and they gave me a call that my order was ready. They were worried I wasn't coming🤣.

This location used to be heavy focused on both great food and service,,,,not anymore! When you sit at the bar; usually your rolls are prepared and given to you once the previous one was finished! Well not today..as I'm halfway through my 1st roll, the cook hands me my second roll , and I'm astonished..because I'm still eating! These rolls are super wonderful when the seaweed is fresh and crispy! I was denied the opportunity to enjoy this wonderful food and the experience, and this is not a cheap

Stopped in at Dashi Okume on a random Saturday afternoon and sat down with a spread of white rice, bluefish, miso soup, squash, and mushroom. Simple and satisfying on the food front, for the 2 of us, the cost was about $110. So not a cheap meal, but good food. The vibe though was a little different from what I was expecting. I went in thinking restaurant and what I got was more of a market atmosphere. While you are eating, people are walking around shopping and browsing, and there are products

Stopped by to try this place out with a friend, thought the food was just ok but pretty fun to wrap your own roll and they keep the seaweed dry by putting a plastic wrapper around and adding the fish on the top. A bit on the pricey though even with the lunch special. Good to try it once but probably won't be coming back. Not really that impressed with the food. Friendly staff and convenient location. Pretty empty when i was there on a weekday/Friday afternoon.

This was my first time at Bar Orai, and I really loved the atmosphere, they even had a DJ playing vinyl, which added a great vibe to the space. One downside is that they don’t accept reservations for groups larger than four, and if you show up with more than four people, they won’t seat you, even if you’re willing to split into two groups. That was a bit disappointing. However, we do respect that. Overall, though, the ambiance is lovely, the food is decent, and the cocktails are well-crafted.

This Asian Bay restaurant is truly great value for money! Okatte Tanto is one of the most authentic izakayas I’ve visited in New York. The menu focuses on traditional Japanese cooking, with an emphasis on seasonal ingredients and dishes that are still relatively uncommon outside Japan. Highlights included the beautifully fresh sashimi platter, marinated firefly squid, chicken gizzards with green onions, and an excellent beef-stuffed tamagoyaki. The simply grilled mackerel was perfectly cooked, and the motsunabe—a comforting hot pot of beef offal, tofu,

The flavors and progression of the bites. The interaction with the chef and waiter and other customers... It was literally the best food and best time we've ever had. Musha Sushi is such a great spot in Brooklyn! I came here recently and everything was super fresh and delicious. The sushi rolls were made perfectly — great texture, clean flavors, and the ingredients tasted high quality. The presentation was also beautiful and looked like something from a higher-end restaurant. The staff was friendly and the place felt cozy and welcoming. Prices were very reasonable for the quality. I liked the ambiance here. It was relaxed and quiet. The decor was clean with calm colors. The food was mostly great. All the nigiri were tasty. The omakase here is more or less traditional so don't look for a lot of creativity here. This is the bit that I personally didn't love. The service was lackluster. Food is good. Customer service needs serious work. I've had varying experiences with this place but was not moved to write this review until my most recent visit. I placed my order with the cashier who was generally not pleasant or welcoming, but I was used to that. After, while waiting for my order I remembered to ask for a stamped card (these cards enable you to get a free teriyaki chicken after a certain amount of meal purchases). I went to this Japanese milk tea place today and honestly the combo was pretty good. The onigiri was really good, definitely better than the one I had from another shop before. But there were a few things that disappointed me. When you order a combo, the drink options are really limited. You can only choose soda, classic milk tea, or passionfruit green tea. The problem is that the drinks only come in size small. At other similar stores, you can usually pay extra to upgrade your drink to a medium

Good quality and tasty food. Delivery is always quick. I have noticed that there is less and less rice on rolls. Probably a recession indicator. This last delivery it was one grain thick. I guess everyone has to be creative these days to make ends meet but it does affect the integrity of the roll so now the pieces fall apart easily.

I’ve been going to Sushi Lin SoHo for the past 5 years and it never disappoints. The quality for the price is honestly so worth it—every piece of fish is fresh, soft, and melts in your mouth. Their signature nigiri (the salmon with tomato on top) is my all-time favorite, I literally think about it. I’ll always keep coming back here for omakase. Easily top 3 omakase spots in New York.

The location was in a office type building and had very little ambience. There was no one there. The server was very attentive to us, as he had no other customers. He told me right away there was only sushi and sashimi available. That was a little disappointing. Also as we were ordering many things were not available. But the items we did get were outstanding.
