Jun 18, 2026 - Pretty underwhelming experience at Jeong Yuk Jeom. We came as a party of four. The set was just okay and the quality was nothing special. The sides were pretty meh too. The biggest issue was the value - we ordered an additional portion if the pork belly (samgyeopsal) and it turned out to be $45 for a single strip. That’s a lot of money for a cut that wasn’t even large - hard to justify that price. Service was lacking as well. They rarely checked on us, and we had to ask several ti

BCD Tofu Soup was super hearty and satisfying! You can choose your preferred level of spiciness, which is great. The tofu soup was packed with lots of soft tofu, making it really comforting. Upscale Korean steakhouse featuring tables with smokeless grills, plus an extensive wine list.
Dinner at COTE Korean Steakhouse was simply outstanding. I had the dry-aged Rib Eye, and the quality of the beef was exceptional — perfectly cooked, rich, flavorful, and unforgettable. The dish was served with unique salads and accompaniments, including fresh green leaves and sticky rice, allowing you to create your own small wraps with the meat. A fun and delicious experience. My wife loves spicy food, and she absolutely loved this place. The spice here is not the artificial, capsaicin-heavy heat that many restaurants use. Instead, it has the authentic deep and rich spiciness that reminds us of traditional Korean red peppers from Korea. It is seriously spicy — in the best way possible! Normally, I rarely revisit the same restaurant twice, but SGD Tofu & Grill has become a place we visit once or twice every week. The kindness of the staff makes the food taste even be

Bustling staples doling out seafood pancakes, bibimbop, and other Korean items in a minimalistic setting.
The Kunjip is a long-standing Korean restaurant in Koreatown that focuses on classic Korean comfort food, barbecue, soups, and traditional dishes. The restaurant has a casual but lively atmosphere, with a menu that covers many of the staples you would expect from a Korean dining spot. It has a more traditional feel compared to some of the newer Korean restaurants in the area, making it a good option for familiar dishes and group meals. The food focuses on hearty Korean flavors, with dishes like

Maybe bc i heard so many good things about jeju noodle bar my expectations were quite high. I’d def come back for the toro ssam bap and order one for myself!!! Each bite was divine and I genuinely got sad as the dish was being finished. Super flavorful, each bite was literally perfection. To-go joint that doubles as a downstairs restaurant. Their Korean chicken might not be as good as some of its neighbors, but the service & space makes up for it. Ideal place for large, scattered groups that are pre-eating for karoke (because we all know thats how a night in Ktown ends up). The location is spacious and features a traditional yet modern industrial aesthetic, which is quite unique compared to most KBBQ spots. This place does not disappoint. I have come here more than twice and each time the food blows me away for the price we pay. This was food for two people and we only paid about $30 to $40 per person. We also got a side of rice, which was enough for two people as well. The seafood pancake was cooked to perfection and crispy. Of the Korean fine dining restaurants in NYC, this is one of my favorites. The dishes were distinctly Korean but elevated to a new level. It felt like I was visiting Korea again and tasting flavors that are difficult to find in the US. Each dish was elegant and well thought out. Our experience at this restaurant was decent --- the service could definitely be improved, but other than that, the food tasted great and the atmosphere was cozy and inviting. We had stumbled upon this restaurant while walking around Koreatown in search of a place for lunch. Haven't been here in years. I used to come when they were alot smaller. But they have expanded, and have lots of seatings, a bigger bar area. The upgrade is nice. I was excited to try this Korean Spicy Garlic Fried Chicken, but unfortunately it didn’t live up to expectations. Visually, the chicken looked appealing at first glance. The glossy sauce, sesame seeds, and scallions gave it the appearance of authentic Korean fried chicken. However, the flavor and texture told a different story. The biggest disappointment was the chicken itself. It tasted like frozen, pre-cooked fried chicken that had simply been reheated and tossed in sauce rather than freshly
