Neighborhood staple with the best coffee and breakfast. And something for everyone (including vegan, gluten free, etc). Staff is great. Checkout the patio too! Keep an eye out for their fun events in the evening and the local rotating artwork on the walls

The price of the food was great but the quality matched the price .....cheap. the meats were nice and tender, presentation was clean and beautiful. Temperature was good but the food had no flavor! The cassava leaf didn't taste like cassava leaf at all. I should've known better when I saw that jolif rice, it wasn't similar to any other ones I had seen before, but it was good in taste. Great vegan food in a beautiful, cozy space. You can tell everything is made with love upon the first bite. The curry chicken sandwich was really good and the hood healer was like a hug in a cup. Definitely check it out!

Got the slider sampler. They were out of salmon, which was disappointing because that’s what I wanted to try. The sliders were still good and the service stayed top tier. I asked for white American instead of cheddar and one came out wrong, but they fixed it quick with no issue. Also had the oxtail wontons. They leaned a little dry for me, but still solid as a finger food. That’s expected when it’s pulled and broken down like that, you lose some of the fat and juiciness. The kale salad surprised

I wanted just okra soup mines came with with meat in it which i didn't ask for but then didn't mind but it was Very spicy ,didn't have an none spicy option,(uber eats) and the meat SUPER HARD wasn't cooked well done til it softened (pissed me off pregnancy craving went to a waste) dont get me wrong the taste was good! But once that meat almost broke my teeth it was over, so I just ate the little bit of stew without the meat and fufu, and the price not worth it $40 for this meal smh

BKB was such a great place for our girls night dinner! From the moment we walked in, the vibe was warm, lively, and effortless. The staff were incredibly welcoming and attentive, and every cocktail on the menu felt elevated and thoughtfully crafted. Each of us loved the cocktail we ordered! We shared the oven roasted chickpeas, Caviar d’Aubergine, Croquettes de Fromage, and olives. All were so delicious! For my main, I had the Steak au Poivre with potato gratin, and it was perfectly prepared an

Today was my first time experiencing this restaurant. I felt very welcome from all the amazing customer service within this place. Everyone was very friendly and kind enough to walk me through what food I would like, what options I had and as well asked if I had any allergies to any type of food. I respect so much that professionalism and on top of all that, the food came out simply amazing. As you can see on the picture, food quality is A+ most definitely will recommend any and everyone to come

Nice atmosphere and vibe, with welcoming service. While the staff was transparent on the serving sizes (one skewer!), the price to quantity is steep. The quality of some items were excellent (lamb skewers, fries), while others were bland, cold, or sparing for what are traditionally cheap and easy to make items (chicken plate, maitake skewer, caesar salad). This really feels like a place focused more on the drinks and the dip tasting than the other items as stand-alones or sharing. Overall, for

AUX Karaoke Box was such a fun find! The whole place has this cool vibe, and the music memorabilia everywhere makes it feel really nostalgic and unique. We partied in the “main room.” There are thousands of songs to pick from, a great sound system, and Karaoke TV’s around the bar. Even if you didn’t have the microphone, you could sing along! The diverse crowd added to the fun—energetic, inclusive, and just there to have a great time. The staff is incredibly friendly and welcoming, and we even h

I can’t believe I’ve never written about the Bar Room at Dick and Jane’s because it’s honestly one of my favorite spots in Bed-Stuy. I go there pretty frequently and the bartenders and staff are always great. The cocktails are solid and they actually know how to make a proper drink, which I appreciate. They usually have a DJ, so the music and the vibe are always good without feeling over the top. What I really like about this place is the crowd. It reminds me of the energy people talk about at

On 01/23/26, I went with my friend and we ordered 2 tacos each. We waited over 30 mins. We asked what was the status of the order a total of 3 times. On the 4th follow-up, we inquired about the long wait. The hostess finally said she made a mistake by giving our orders away, and didn’t provide an apology. When we asked the owner of the establishment what we would receive for the inconvenience, no respond or follow-up was given. This was worse experience ever. Do NOT go here.

If you’re hungry, this is the spot. The place is definitely worth trying. The portions are big, the bread alone could feed like 4–5 people. I ordered a chicken plate, the Socotra Haneeth and it was amazing, the meat was literally falling off the bone. Super tender and full of flavor. The portion was so big I had to take half home. It’s a bit on the pricier side, but you can easily share a plate or count on leftovers. They also bring complimentary soup and a small salad, which is a nice touch.

Randomly came across this restaurant on google maps and so happy I did! The food was incredible!! We had akra, oxtail Mac, lamb chops, and kale salad. Depending on what you’re ordering food is made fresh to order. I cannot say enough about the chef who made me ital soup upon request. It was so delicious and I saw him pound the dumplings by hand right there. That alone impressed me but my son’s burger and fresh cut in our face fries were delicious as well. If you want good, authentic, fresh food with great service go on and stop by Soulkofa and remember that good things take time. I’ll be back tomorrow for the rest of that soup because I’m sit

Had no business getting this chicken. Got off work and decided to head in for a 2 piece and coleslaw. Immediately observed the grease spilled in bag from the bottom of the box. Decided to eat the top and some of the middle of one. Chicken appeared fresh but instantly caused discomfort in belly. Immediately disappointed and regret. Don’t do it, not worth it.

I went to Crown Fried Chicken at 3 am last night for a three-piece fried chicken box and cheese pizza. The food was prepped super quick, and was pretty inexpensive at like ~$11 for everything. While the chicken tasted decent, the pizza was kind of cartoonish and flimsy, without much flavor. The chicken was pretty juicy and tasted good with hot sauce, but the fry oil definitely is used for many types of things and had a bit of a weird smell to it. The atmosphere is what you’d expect: barebones,

10/10! Super friendly staff and everything was delicious. I went in anticipating oxtails but they were out, so I opted for jerk chicken, Mac and cheese and rice and peas. Literally the most flavorful rice and peas I’ve ever had! Mac was tasty and well seasoned and the jerk chicken was the perfect blend of tang and spice. I looked forward to having leftovers but ate the entire plate in one sitting. Will definitely be back :))

Solid spot, been coming here a few times now and it hasn't disappointed. The food is always fresh and the portions are more than enough. Spicy noodles are a must. Place is small and simple but that's part of the charm. Staff is straightforward, no fuss. Prices are fair, especially for Brooklyn. Parking can be a bit annoying depending on the time but worth the hassle. Would recommend to anyone in the area looking for a quick and satisfying meal.

I stumbled on La Ruta Del Taco 2 by accident walking through Bed-Stuy, and I’m so glad I did. At first glance, I was skeptical—authentic Mexican street tacos in this part of Brooklyn? But after trying it, I can say without hesitation: this place is the real deal. I ordered three of their signature tacos and a Jarritos, and was blown away. The flavors are spot-on, the tortillas taste fresh, and the quality of the ingredients is clear in every bite. This is true Mexican street food, not a watered

When this place first opened, the food was a 10/10 — fresh, flavorful, and well worth the price. Unfortunately, since the change in management, the quality has gone downhill. The food is now overly salty, and the portions are noticeably smaller. I ordered again last night hoping it was just an off day before, but it was even worse. One of my meals looked like it had been eaten from, and I was also missing a coleslaw from my order. Very disappointing experience overall. I really hope they take th

I had such a wonderful experience at Commune Wine & Bar. The owner, Dean, went above and beyond to make a really special moment possible for our family. My cousin proposed to his girlfriend in the backyard, and Dean was incredibly kind and accommodating in allowing us to use the space for such an important occasion. The atmosphere was beautiful, warm, and intimate perfect for a proposal. Everything felt relaxed and welcoming, and it made the moment even more memorable for everyone who was there

I visited this restaurant last Sunday at approximately 4:00 p.m. to pick up two chicken takeout orders, and unfortunately, my experience was extremely disappointing. Upon arrival, I sat at the bar waiting for my order and was completely ignored for an extended period of time. No one asked if I needed assistance or provided an update on my order. After repeatedly being told that my food was "coming soon," I continued to wait. It wasn't until Chris, a waiter, finally acknowledged me and asked if

Stay far away from this place!!! My child got food poisoning from their food! Do not buy food from them under any circumstances! When we went to their cafe to discuss the poor quality of their food, they initially spoke English. Then they switched to Spanish, claiming they didn't understand any English. We entered their kitchen where they prepare food and witnessed appalling filth. The kitchen was completely dirty, with a greasy, filthy floor. The stove was caked in grime and grease. Several fou

Fantastic new addition to the neighborhood! I stopped by for lunch and grabbed a sandwich, and everything was excellent. The food was fresh, flavorful, and had a great mix of ingredients and textures. What really stood out was the service, which was outstanding by New York standards. Friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming from start to finish. Highly recommended, and I’ll definitely be back to try more of the menu.
