A reinvention of a Chinatown classic with Shanghai staples like soup dumplings in a smart setting.
I've only been here during the lunch hours and it can get quite crowded. The staff are very adamant about where you sit. I wanted to change my seat and the waiter just ignored my request and walked away. Another time, I wanted to position my chair for more space and the waiter said no. Other than the disrespectful staff, the food here is very good. I tried the fish fillet and it is crispy and delicious. The eggplant over rice is amazing as well. The lunch specials are affordable and you get

Budget Chinese fare like dumplings, soups & pancakes are served in a small space with a few seats.
We went here during the fall 2025 with my wife and daughter on a food tour. We sampled the chive and pork fried dumplings. These dumplings were so good that we came back the next day and ordered 28 in one sitting! This was the cheapest meal we got our entire trip and it was easily the best meal we had the entire trip. Even tho the service was okay and the place didn’t look very nice. The dumplings made up for it completely. We will suggest tasty dumplings to anyone we know visiting NYC. When we

Chinese cafe serving Henan fare (hand-pulled noodles, pork pancakes & spicy chicken) in simple digs.
Been wanting to come here for years and it did not disappoint. Food was delicious and surprisingly cheap. I had the beef pancake and spicy chicken huimei (dry hand-pulled noodle). The staff were very nice and accommodating too. Highly recommend.

Urbane outfit for classic duck dishes carved tableside, plus other Chinese meat & seafood staples.
Disappointed with my experience. The food was very good, but the portions were tiny considering the high price. You’re better off going to any other chinese restaurant in the lower east side or 8th ave in brooklyn for same quality, larger quantity, and lower price. On top of all of that, the service was not great, even for a chinese restaurant. Despite the restaurant only having two other tables, it took ten minutes to even get menus. Wait was understandable considering we ordered a lot of food,

Small counter spot for sweet and savory Malaysian dishes, plus breakfast items, coffees, and teas.
Small little spot that had a nice little venue- very authentic and delicious. Went with a friend where you order at the counter for service. Food and service were both so quick and nice. Defs over ordered but everything was delicious. Enjoyed various dishes from duck to chicken to pork puns to pork puns. My fav dish is pork buns and French toast ( so much flavor). Strongly recommend

Boutique-hotel rooftop bar with sweeping views, cocktails & small bites, plus an indoor lounge.
We had a great time at The Crown, the rooftop bar at Hotel 50 Bowery. Enjoying a drink and a bite while taking in what might be the best 360-degree view of Manhattan is something special. You can clearly spot iconic landmarks like the Empire State Building, Chrysler Building, and One World Trade Center, along with the Brooklyn Bridge, the Hudson River, and even parts of the skylines of Jersey City and Brooklyn.

Tiny bakeshop specializing in treats including artisanal Japanese-style cheesecakes & tarts.
I’ve always loved the bouncy cheesecake and cream puffs from Let’s Bounce – Powered By Keki! Their flavors are consistently delicious, and the Valentine’s Day limited-edition heart-shaped red velvet cake was such a treat. They also participated in a street festival we produced in August at Columbus Park, and I had the pleasure of meeting Kevin and Ajay—truly the nicest people. Their energy and kindness matched the joy their desserts bring. Highly recommend both the sweets and the team behind th

The food here is so good. The lobster for lunch special is amazing. The red rice roll just blew my mind. I just pick this restaurant very randomly on Google and it actually surprised me. Another dish that I would recommend is garlic spared ribs. It’s so flavorful and juicy inside even though it was fried. My party is 5 and average is 35 per person. Very good deal in New York. The staff is pretty nice. Definitely recommend and will comeback!!!!!

The cuts of meat were delicious, soft and tender. We got the assorted meats a la carte, assorted kimchi and soup. My favorite was the diamond cut kalbi, pork with wasabi (dip in lemon sauce) and beef tongue with a yuzu sauce. The staff was awesome, especially our server. She was very welcoming and made my son's birthday extra special with the sparkler cheesecake. Definitely will try the course with the sukiyaki next time.

One of my goto place in Chinatown for Catonese comfort food. There is no wrong order. Roast Chicken, Pork and Duck over Rice for everyday. Congee for when your feeling under the weather. Stir fry kitchen dishes are a must. The staff treats you like family. Always get lectures by the old lady for asking for ice water, stating it's bad for my health. 😆

Narrow, offbeat cafe with a vintage ambiance providing latte art, house-roasted coffee & light fare.
To quote one of my favorite movies Jackie Brown, “man what happened to you…. You used to be beautiful”. This place is a shell of its former self. It was nice to look at, interesting drinks and amazing vibe. It has none of that anymore. The latte I ordered turned out to be ok but if you’ve been to the old, cool version of this spot, either don’t come or set your bar way low.

Coastal Spain & Portugal inspire the cooking at this crisp oyster bar & seafood specialist.
The food was pretty good but in the salty side. We started with the oysters, then had the spicy mussels, clams, and the piri piri chicken. The oysters were fresh, and the spicy mussels were yummy, but the clams left something to be desired. They didn’t have much flavour, but the sauce they were in was pretty good when soaked up with the bread. The piri piri chicken was so salty, and while the fries were good with the aoli, the flavours were just really overpowering. For dessert, we had the spong

I was so pleased they had 干煸肥肠 Dry Fried Pork Intestines. It was perfectly fried, still had chew, not too greasy. SO GOOD! I will say it was pretty uncomfortably warm whille dining on a summer day, ig the AC was out. Server was SUPER friendly and when i showed a picture of the dish, directed me to what the order was. The dish was so good.... would absoluteky go back for that alone. The rice was perfectly cooked and the tea hot and delish! I was pleasantly surpeised at the generous amount of pepo

The luckin coffee app has promotions sometimes, especially for stores that just opened up. I ordered the matcha and it was good, but the matcha flavor wasn’t very strong compared to the other locations I’ve tried. It was sweet enough though. Someone else ordered a coffee and said that it wasn’t sweet at all even though they didn’t adjust the sugar, so they had to go back to ask for a few pumps of sugar/syrup. The place is small and seating is very limited. Overall a good place to grab a drink. T

It‘s here for this cold weather. You must not miss the delicious shabu and grill on a cold day. The meat is fresh, clean, delicious, and quality. The staff is lovely and take good care of every move. He will always take care of you. Describe the beautiful, quiet, clean shop. And finally, you will be able to wash your mouth with delicious desserts that are not on the menu. Of course, it is another point that I will definitely have to come back to eat. And you guys miss and enjoy a good restaurant

Ordered the ChaHalo black milk tea with 50% sugar. It’s topped with whipped cream and toasted pecans. It was delicious, well-balanced, and not overly sweet. It's an enjoyable drink especially if you are planning to walk around Chinatown in this warm weather. They also provide a tiny spoon , which is perfect for enjoying the whipped cream before it melts into the drink. Will try their Osmanthus Oolong Milk Tea next !

Must go in Chinatown! This became my must visit when I go Chinatown since they opened. Authentic Hong Kong style restaurant with childhood memories dishes Highly recommend their new menu with rice dishes and stir-fried noodles. I like the way that they keep updating their menu and giving me reason to come back. Atmosphere is nice and very cool and traditional Hong Kong cafe style. Last highly is their under rated desserts. Must try and I think I can comeback just for dessert too haha

Showed up on a Monday night right at open and was able to be seated almost immediately after customers with reservations! Everything on the menu was stellar - we ordered the eggplant, snails, rice roll appetizers and for entree we had Bún Đậu Đặc Biệt. Everything was outstanding from texture, flavor, and alllll the side sauces were also a highlight. Left us wanting to try more as other dishes came out of the kitchen. One of those curiosities happened to be the Nước Sâm. Don’t sleep on the drink

A cute vietnamese wine bar that I always end up going back. They have a fun selection of vietnamese rice wines on the top of regular wines. (And yet most of them are hard to find.) No-frills destination for stuffed Asian buns (savory & sweet), assorted cakes & premade sandwiches.
Pretty classic Chinese bakery, standard breads with really good prices. Staff were friendly as well. 🥥💛✨Coconut pineapple bun was delicious! Really a great option for sweet tooth. The bread was soft and pliable. Coconut filling was sweet and rich. 🧀Cheese tart was good, small VIP. Although nothing special, it was thick and creamy. Cheesy and plain flavor that was not too sweet or salty. Steamed pork bun has some space to improve. The filling tasted strong and thick but no flavors. At least

We arrived and luckily there was an empty table. You will have to go to the counter to place an order. They have tea & coffee already ready in a bottle. We ordered a pho and ban mi sandwich. The pho tasted delicious with good quantity of food. The mushrooms were crunchy. The ban mi sandwich was delicious and bit spicy. Had a good taste to it. Th

I have very high standards for authentic dumplings: their wrappers must be thin, their fillings must be generous, they must be piping hot when served, they must be accompanied by aged dark vinegar, and they must be digested by drinking the original broth in which they were cooked ... Only northern Chinese natives know how to meet all of these standards. I was not convinced by the two young waiting staff with southern accents who greeted me at the door, but I stayed because the two older women be

Basic nook crafting chewy Malaysian-style beef, pork & chicken jerky in varied spice levels.
This might be the most underrated snack in Chinatown. They make Malaysian Chinese-style jerky at Malaysia Beef Jerky, and it’s not your typical jerky - it’s soft, tender, smoky, and sweet. It’s closer to smoky barbecue candy than the dry, leathery jerky most people are used to. They have pork, beef, and chicken options (I like the pork one the most). The flavors are bold but balanced, not too salty and not too dry. Everything is grilled fresh right in front of you, so you get it warm with a slig

Dr. Clark is a cozy and intimate restaurant with dark mood lighting and a nice full bar. Cocktails and Japanese Whisky offered here as well as light spirits. The menu is a mix of sashimi, variety of noodles, and light bites, while featuring lamb as a popular main. Two versions: cooked at your table with a portable grill or order chops by the piece, where it's cooked in the kitchen. The favorite was the stir fry udon noodles and the chan chan (baked salmon) for my group. Sashimi was really good,

The food was alright I got a small grilled chicken rice bowl while my friend got small fried chicken rice bowl. There was a salad included in it. The fried chicken was good(I took some) while the grilled chicken was not really grilled. It was somewhat bland. Get the fried chicken instead. It has more flavor and is nice a crisp.
