Upside Pizza in SoHo definitely lives up to the hype — the line was looong, but the variety of pizzas made it worth trying. My personal favorites were the mushroom thin-crust slice and their thick-cut pepperoni pizza (not even sure if it’s focaccia-style or Sicilian-style, but it was SO good). The thick slice had that perfect texture: fluffy inside, crispy outside, with generous pepperoni and cheese that felt super satisfying. The mushroom thin pizza slice was rich, savory, and comforting with

I used to like MoHo but NoMo. I would go with my son and he also liked it very much. After my last visit I’m going to have to take it off of my list. I stopped in at 4:00 PM to get a chicken bowl to go. There were no customers which I found odd. The counter person was very good and had good customer service skills. I ordered a bowl, white rice and black beans with grilled chicken along with the usual toppings. After mixing up my bowl I dug to the bottom and got a fork full of rice and beans. The

Landmark Coffee Shop is a fun old-school diner with the kind of traditional breakfast atmosphere that makes you feel right at home. It appeared to be run by a husband-and-wife team, which added to the warm and personal feel of the place. Everyone was very kind and pleasant while seating us, taking our order, and making sure we were taken care of. Once we sat down, we made our selections and placed our order, and the food came out relatively quickly. The portions were large, and everything we ha

Wow, amazingly delicious NY-style pizza at local Brooklyn prices and not inflated Manhattan prices. Good food and service at good prices. Who would've thought that business model would work?!! That is why Lucia X has slowly become our new favorite pizzeria, especially for their clam pizza on Fridays. We also love their margherita pizza and vodka pizza. We found Felice by chance on our last day in NYC mid-afternoon. From the first second we felt like in Italy. The Spaghetti Vongole with Oil and Garlic were just delicious as all our other meals. The Tiramisu is homemade and real Italian style, light as air, not the heavy American style. Absolut top and very attentive service. We enjoyed and recommend this location for locals and for tourists.

EDITING TO ADD: AC was added to the 89th location a few days after my review. The barista was so excited! And the owners say there’s AC at the 5th ave location too. Rating changed to 5 stars!
