Traditional Italian eatery offering the standard red-sauce fare in an old-school setting.
The Italian restaurant in New York was pretty good overall. The food was tasty, and the service was good and friendly. However, the atmosphere could have been better because it was a bit noisy since the restaurant is located right next to the road. The restrooms were downstairs and did not feel very comfortable or modern. Also, the orange juice had a little too much ice in it. Overall, it was still a nice experience and a decent place to visit.

Comfortable option featuring housemade pasta, pizza, and other Italian classics.
Came here for a date night with my hubby! And it was definitely worth it. The calamari appetizer is a must get! One of the best Caesar salads I’ve had— very flavorful & cheesy! We ordered chicken parmigiana & linguini vongole. Both were delicious & not too heavy. The staff was very positive, welcoming, and made our experience great! I highly recommend this spot & will definitely be back!

Freaking amazing. Imagine Benihana with pasta and at a good price. You get a show and a delicious plate of pasta. My wife who doesn't even like pasta enjoyed it. Also not sure why didn't this place come up when I searched for Italian food while seated across the street in the park. But if you are reading this, it is worth a visit.

I have been a regular here for more than 14 years, and it is truly an amazing place! The food is consistently tasty, and the wine list is very reasonably priced. We always order the vongole; in our opinion, no other restaurant can top theirs

From the street greeting to the comparable bill, this was the BEST experience! Sofia’s is the place to go if you want friendly service with a how-can-we-please-you attitude to the ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS food! Our next visit to Little Italy will definitely be on the list. 🙂 We even asked about some modifications that they were incredibly accommodating for! Highly recommend! (Bread was complimentary.)

I found out about this place from Pinterest. I'm glad I gave it chance. The inside is clean & esthetically pleasing. The employes were attentive & kind. I ordered the fettuccine bolognese $16. I purchased sprakling water afterwards, $20 total. I was trying to decide whether or not I wanted to buy their lemonade, the cashier guy offered a sample, that was very kind of him. It was a bit too sweet for me, I ended up getting the S. Water. The pasta was so tasty, creamy & flavorful 😋 I arrived on a

Great Classic Italian food with great service and atmosphere. Love their Baked clams, fried calamari, stuffed mushrooms, mussels , veal chops, chicken parm and others. Can never go wrong with their food. Can get crowded at evenings so a reservation is always recommended for the evenings. We had a nice experience here so I have to give 5 stars. I have always wanted to come here but had a hard time finding a reservation and never wanted to wait. Made a 430 reservation thru Resy. After booking I realized that they didn’t start serving food until 5, so I e mailed the restaurant and they kindly moved it to 5 pm. We were able to sit inside in a cute corner booth which was great because we were both celebrating our birthday. We didn’t get drinks but ordered an early dinner. We split a

If you’re going to splurge on an Italian dinner in New York, make it this one. Carbone masters upscale Italian-American dining with an elegant ambiance and welcoming staff that make the experience just as memorable as the food. We started with the warm mozzarella, salami, and toasted bread. It was SO good, so we ordered the Prosciutto and Mozzarella. We also went with the Eggplant and Zucchini Scapece. The best pasta I've ever had. The fetuccine was just perfect. I added shrimps and they were cooked to perfection. I just couldn't get enough. I loved the atmosphere. It was cozy and the staff seemed like they were family and treated you as such. . The owner Marcella gives this restaurant a very distinctive feel. Invited in for a collaboration, and still giving my honest, real experience (and I tipped as usual!) I really loved the vibe of this place, especially at night. The lighting gives it such a classic, romantic feel, perfect for a date or a cozy dinner. Everything we had was delicious, from drinks to mains to desserts, but what really stood out to me were the appetizers. They were honestly the most memorable part of the meal. Maiella’s is a wonderful restaurant in Long Island City and a great choice for families, date nights, or group dinners. One of my favorite parts of dining here is watching the pasta being prepared in the cheese wheel right in front of you. It's fun to watch and makes the experience feel unique. We passed by this restaurant and was drawn to the wooden decor ceilings and open space. The toasted buns paired well with the jam. Fairly standard Italian pasta. The waiters were oddly slow for taking orders and handing out checks despite fairly limited customers. That said, the servers were very quick with the food and cheese/black pepper.

The interior is really cozy with warm vibes and if I could give service 6/5 stars I absolutely would. We ate at Benito One today and it was absolutely phenomenal. The chicken parmigiana was hands-down the best I’ve ever had — perfectly cooked, full of flavor, and clearly made with care. This place is great. I stopped by here after a morning in the park. I’m assuming the owner (or someone who really cares about customer service) greeted me at the door, walked me through the items on the menu. The menu is hand written, signaling I know I’m in for a treat. The pasta was handmade, I opted for tagliatelle with their ragu and focaccia. It did not disappoint! The ragu was so tasty, pasta cooked perfectly and the bread was so flavorful. I ate outside, it was perfection.

Great spot for families. The food is consistently solid here. Good chicken parm. Wish it was a little crunchier but the sauce is fantastic and it’s the right thickness. Carbonara is good. Meatballs are solid. Calamari is prepared perfectly. The tiramisu is incredible and you can’t top the Nutella pizza. That’s a real crow pleaser. Out of all the open places on the 24th of December in Little Italy, we stumbled upon this restaurant because of its name. The food is delicious. But there are so many people and the table spacing is narrow. It's noisy, but if you enjoy this lively atmosphere, it's definitely valuable food. After the show, my friend and I were looking for a place to have dinner to celebrate my birthday, and we just walked into this restaurant.
