SIMPLY DELICIOUS! This place is a hidden gem for delicious Asian food. As a vegetarian, I’m obsessed with their vegetarian curry, and the sushi rolls are excellent too. My coworkers love everything else on the menu as well. Highly recommended—not to mention the prices are very reasonable! Space is not very big, it’s literally a kitchen, but it’s really cute to sit there and watch them cook and the service is exceptional.

Had to go get some x-rays at wild Cornell at 425 E61st St. And was looking for a sushi place nearby. I read the reviews and they were good and let me tell you this place is excellent. The fish is so fresh. There’s a lot of protein in the rolls. I had a Tom Yum soup vegetarian that was excellent highly recommend this place.

$12 plates. (Miss when it was $9-10) Rice and chicken. There are other options. Costs a bit more depending on if you’re choosing combos or other meats. Quick and tastes good. Will fill you up. Meat is tender. Rice is soft. No complaints. Not a place with ambiance. Very no frills. Get your food and go. Knocked off a star because I wouldn’t call this the best food ever. It’s quick, good, good enough to fill you up and leave you satisfied. But it’s nothing I’m sitting around craving. Are you going

been meaning to try this place for a while, so we came here on a sunday before seeing a movie, there were only two other groups there so no wait. a concise and focused menu bodes well; we got the taiwanese beef noodle soup and the chicken ramen. normally I wouldn't pay 23 bucks for chicken soup but we saw it also had duck broth, so why not give it a try. The two dishes were on opposite ends of the flavor spectrum, both very rich and flavorful. The chicken had thin noodles and the beef had wavy k

So glad I stopped in here for dinner. I was looking for something light yet filling. The spot is intimate and in a strip mall so I didn’t have much expectations. When you walk in it feels so serene & authentic! The food was great portion sizes, extremely fresh sushi and wonderful service. My entire dinner appetizer, entree, & dessert was less than $30. I’ll definitely become a regular here!

I had a very disappointing experience at Koi in Bay Plaza Mall. The food was mediocre at best. The ramen was a very poor imitation of what ramen should be — honestly, instant ramen tastes better than what I was served here. After eating there, I actually felt sick for days, which made the experience even worse. The little train that delivers the food is a cool concept, but it looked like it really needed cleaning. If they are going to use something like that to bring dishes to the table, it shou

MISO SAVED OUR BIRTHDAY DINNER! We originally had a reservation at a massive, high volume all-you-can-eat spot around the corner for a birthday party of 8. Two people in our party have severe peanut allergies and the original restaurant refused to use a fresh knife/cutting board to avoid cross-contamination, so we left. We called Miso and they were able to accommodate 8 of us immediately with our allergen needs. We were met with such kind service from the woman running the front of house, and

My favorite fine dining restaurant in NYC. Ive been to the shops outside of this restaurant but I never knew this restaurant existed. Its private, homey, and so welcoming. Our hostess was fantastic. She provided the best service I have ever received and her knowledge about food and alcohol pairings is so good. The food was fantastic. It was just the right amount and they combined french and japanese very well. This restaurant is also listed in the michelin guide as “hidden gem” and I couldnt ag

I’ve never had sushi this incredible in my entire life. My 3 friends and I literally chose this place on a whim and had no idea what we were walking into. None of us had ever had an omakase experience before and Sushi Teru did not disappoint. The fish was fresh, the service was incredible and honestly, the price for what you get is completely understandable. Each course was better than the last and they even show you photos of the fish you are eating and describe everting to you. I will 100% be

Food is tasty, clean place; friendly staff, quick and efficient. I always get my food here when I visit the Staten Island mall. There's always a line but it move quickly. The teriyaki chicken is so tender and juicy. Food are fresh and the place is clean. I see it as a balance meal after the workout. I think they seasoned it perfectly, not too salty, and they won't add extra sauce on it unless you ask. Sakura Sushi & Thai Cuisine has always been one of my favorite local spots. When I worked in the area, I used to stop by at least once a week, and I still think about their Pad See Ew! It’s perfectly cooked every time, with that great balance of flavor and texture that’s hard to find elsewhere. The staff is always so kind and welcoming, and the service is quick whether you’re dining in or grabbing takeout. Intimate setting with a singular focus on quality. The omakase was well paced and built towards a fantastic end. 10/10 and will be going back again in the future. The main course finale of toro, scallop, and wagyu was perfection. My favorite bite was surprisingly the scallop. It was unbelievably fresh and complex. The chef and host were incredibly nice and talked me through each bite as well as how they prepare each day to deliver a top experience.

Went here during the June 2025 heatwave. Though their air conditioning was not doing it’s best or pumping it’s hardest, The food was delicious ! I had shrimp & beef with lomein & veggies, my family also tried the fried chicken dumplings, and the California roll. Everyone liked everything. The only disappointment was when I had to repeat things like “hello/hi” or “thank you” just to get some human acknowledgment/interaction from the cashier. But don’t forget this is NYC lol. I always appreciate

This place is an absolute gem. We were greeted by the very friendly staff who were both passionate and knowledgeable of the menu. Everything I would order again, excited to come back and would highly recommend

Cute, compact Japanese spot is perfect for grabbing a light bite or snacks. I came in to get a late morning snack to bring to the park. The store is bright and spotless, and the service was very welcoming. I kept things simple and grabbed a pork onigiri, as well as a salmon onigiri. They were very tasty, and perfectly made—soft yet sticky, and not the least bit dry. IMO the ratio of rice to filling was perfect. One of the better onigiri I’ve found in the city, if not my current favorite 👏🏻

Quality sushi spot with excellent specials rolls We ordered takeout several times and also dined in at Yosuki Sushi in 2025. It's a typical small Japanese restaurant like the ones you often find on shopping plazas. It has a pretty, minimalistic decor, and a quiet, relaxed atmosphere. Takeout orders were always ready exactly on time. Dine-in service was ok, though it could be more attentive. The regular sushi rolls are very fresh, flavorful, with little rice, and taste great. The special rolls

So fresh! I’ve had a lot of raw fish in ny but this place is exceptionally fresh and tasty. Came here with my bf tonight and the sashimi set/spicy tuna roll were both SO good. Got take out and the chef was so friendly too! Definitely will be going back and would rec to anyone. Fav new neighborhood spot and would also travel over for it if I was living somewhere else. Will be a regular. Great for both dates and friend hangouts. Also the chef’s fresh wasabi was so good!

Absolutely loved this place. We ordered the Kogashi Miso, Shoyu Tsukemen and a few appetizers. The Kogashi Miso was honestly one of the best bowls of ramen I’ve ever had. It’s definitely rich but we were offered some extra noodles, which helped balance it out. The service was attentive and the restaurant itself is beautiful. The ramen is a bit on the pricier side but totally worth it!

Great experience! The space felt cozy but spacious. Service was very attentive. Compared with other omakase places at similar price point, you get lots of course. All the appetizer/amuse dishes were delicious, especially the fired unagi and the Japanese amberjack sashimi. I ordered sushi here While the taste is good for mall sushi the preparation is terrible. The seaweed they use falls apart as you pick up the roll so it is difficult to eat. As for the spicy tuna roll, if you are expecting the typical spicy tuna you get in every other place, this isn't that. They give you a regular tuna roll with spicy mayo sauce on the side rather than the rolls where the tuna itself is seasoned to be spicy. The workers are friendly so don't blame them. have to give a huge shoutout to this omakase spot in Union Square — it was absolutely amazing. For NYC omakase in the $100–$200 range, the quality and flavors are definitely top-tier. They offer two sets ($165 and $95), and we went with the $165 option. There were 16 courses in total — more than enough to leave you fully satisfied, and honestly, not a single dish disappointed. The appetizers included octopus, sea bream sashimi, uni, and tuna tartare. Everything was excellent, but the uni reall

A decent fast food spot with healthier options and good food. I really like the chicken and sauce, and so for me this place hits the spot regularly. It’s maybe slightly slow and perhaps the food can be a little inconsistent but usually I find it is a healthy portion of chicken, well sauced, no issues. I wish they offered more vegetables, but for the price and serving size it’s good value and fast.

Often order sushi from goal omakase. My family loves it so so much. It is so fresh with very flavorful topping on top of each nigiri with a very reasonable price… honestly, it’s way much better than any dine-in omakase spot.. you can’t go wrong with goal omakase… it’s just one word to describe Goal omakase… FRESH!!! Give it a try and you will never regret.

I ordered sushi rolls here for $15, and the experience was honestly disappointing. The portions were shockingly small—far smaller than anything I’ve received from comparable places in the same price range. It felt like I paid a premium price for sampler-sized bites. The quality didn’t make up for it either. The rolls lacked substance, the filling was minimal, and the overall flavor was bland and forgettable. Nothing about the meal justified the cost, and the presentation didn’t help—everything l

Teriyaki R Us – A Sauceless Saga in Sad Stir-Fry Let me begin by saying, I wanted to like Teriyaki R Us. I really did. But from the moment I walked in, it felt more like Teriyaki R “Why Us?” The ambience? Think nightclub meets cafeteria. Honestly, this is one of the best omakase experiences I’ve had, not just in Brooklyn. Everything was super fresh and well done, but the Hokkaido Kegani and Hokkaido Uni really stood out sweet, rich, and melt in your mouth good. Every course felt thoughtful without being over the top.
