I had such a great experience at this Japanese restaurant. The atmosphere was really nice, modern, clean, and relaxing, which made it a perfect place to enjoy dinner. The vibe felt cozy but still elegant. The food was amazing, especially the fresh fish. You can really taste the quality. The sashimi was incredibly fresh, soft, and full of flavor. Every slice melted in your mouth. The sushi was also beautifully prepared and tasted just as good as it looked. Everything felt very high quality and ca

Fantastic lunch!!! The Tantan Ramen was so flavorful and delicious spicy. The Yuzu Mimosa was refreshing, and the Sapporo draft beer was the perfect finish. Sat at the bar and received excellent service from P. and BJ. both were friendly and attentive. The restaurant filled up within minutes of opening. Looking forward to coming back and trying the Bluefin Tuna Uni Don. 🍜🍺✨

Lack of service when you press the button in the booth ruined the whole visit. My GF ran out of water and wanted another, and my GFs mom just wanted a fork because she was having a hard time eating the noodles with the chopsticks. They only came straight away with the bill as soon as you press the Pay button. Simple service things of ignoring customers calls shouldn't be this difficult. Great experience! Our waiter was very friendly and the hand rolls were great. We ordered the set, which was served individually by the chef at the counter. We also ordered the wasabi cucumber and spicy tuna dip. I highly recommend the spicy tuna dip if you’re here. It’s a balance of spice, tuna, and crisp with the rice chips. It was my favorite dish!

The food was mediocre at most. Came here for the first time and was hoping for something good. It’s a self-serving restaurant. I’m not sure if the person in the front speaking English or not, because after I gave her my order for the noodles, she looked at me and asked me to point out the one I just ordered on the menu with pictures. That was weird. The texture of the udon was nice and chewy. The flavor of the curry was nice, but I think they put too much starch in it, and it was too gluey. The

An excellent experience. From the moment you arrive, they make you feel right at home. The service was incredible—very friendly and attentive to ensuring everything was perfect. The food is spectacular; the blend of Japanese cuisine with a Peruvian touch takes it to another level. Every dish is packed with flavor, and the quality of the ingredients really shines through. It also makes me happy to support fellow Peruvians who are working hard here in the United States. You can feel the effort, pa

Speakeasy-style bar in the East Village offering exotic cocktails in a cool, hard-to-find space.
Angel’s Share is one of my favorite bar experience in New York. It has quiet and hidden feeling, but not too serious, very comfortable. The cocktail was very well made and beautiful, and staff was kind without being too much. I like that the atmosphere feel Japanese but also very New York at same time. It is good place when you don’t want loud crazy bar, but want good drink and nice mood. すごく落ち着くバーです. Price is not cheap, but the quality and atmosphere make sense. I would love to come back again

Katsuhama is one of my must-visit restaurants every time I come to New York. The tonkatsu here is simply outstanding. The breading is perfectly fried—light, crispy, and never greasy. Every bite has that perfect balance of a crunchy exterior and a tender, juicy interior. The pork is incredibly soft and flavorful, making it one of the best tonkatsu experiences I’ve had anywhere. The sun was out, cherry blossoms were in full bloom, so we stopped by here after walking around the Brooklyn Botanic Garden, honestly perfect timing and vibes. This place is super popular and I get why. It was packed but the service was insanely quick and efficient, which I appreciated. We shared the chirashi (9/10) and a spicy tuna roll (7/10) and it was honestly more than enough food for both of us. The sashimi is chef’s choice so you’re getting whatever’s freshest that day. We had a delightful dinner at this restaurant yesterday. The food was exceptional, and we thoroughly enjoyed our meal. We ordered the Chicken Katsu curry don and the Chicken Nanban hot soba, both of which were incredibly delicious. The portion sizes were generous, ensuring we had enough to satisfy our appetites. The service was impeccable, and the ambiance was warm and inviting. To complement our meal, we also ordered a Japanese beer and a Hinode cocktail, both of which were equally impressive.

I recently visited Mamsushi and overall it was a really good experience. We ordered three different signature sushi rolls and they were honestly 10/10. Everything tasted fresh, the presentation was beautiful, and each roll had great flavor. You can definitely tell they focus on quality. For appetizers, we had the fried octopus. It was really good — crispy on the outside, tender on the inside — and the sauce that came with it complemented it perfectly. For dessert, we ordered the coconut flan,

A great ramen franchise! The portions are generous, and the broth is rich and flavorful. The pork was a little dry, but the pieces were large, and they give you three generous slices. The prices are reasonable considering the portion size and quality of the food. My only complaint is that gratuity is added automatically, with the lowest option starting at 18% even for a party of one. Overall, a satisfying meal and good value for their ramen.

We’ve enjoyed two experiences at Rule of Thirds but this review is for our most recent, brunch, visit. Let me start by saying that the space is hip and cool and the service has always been tremendous. The food is, for the most part, very good and near great in some cases. The chicken katsu was absolutely terrific. The bread was soft, the chicken crispy, and just enough sauce. The salad was okay, it was fresh but we tasted very little hot honey. There were two of us dining at this restaurant, and overall it was a wonderful experience. The service was exceptional. Their Yuzu green lemonade is such a palette cleanse. My favorite appetizers were the Purple yam fries with this banging sauce in the side. The fried shumai were big and full of flavor. Mr. Taka Ramen is THE ramen spot! There aren't many dining tables and a few counter chairs but it makes it cozy and not overstimulating. The ramen is the best around. This was the most authentic Japanese dining experience I’ve had in New York City—it genuinely felt like being transported back to Japan. Stunning. I treated myself to lunch today at the Chelsea location. I came between lunch and dinner and was seated quickly. Food was delicious, service was paced well, staff was very kind. The first course was oysters; while their freshness was adequate, they lacked the pure, sweet quality that diners often eagerly seek, instead carrying a faint—though not severe—fishy undertone. However, the dishes served during the middle portion of the meal were, on the whole, rather mediocre and conventional, lacking any significant highlights. Several dishes, i

The udon was the main reason to come. Noodles had a nice chew and the broth had a lot of depth.
