Hands down some of the most fantastic ramen I've eaten. Having visited Japan multiple times, I can confidently say this place is authentic and top-tier. If you appreciate high-quality ramen, you have to eat here. You absolutely have to try the Tonkotsu. A must-visit!

I had such an amazing birthday experience at Benihana, and a huge part of that was because of Amada! From the moment we arrived, she made us feel welcomed, celebrated, and completely taken care of. She walked us through the entire process with such warmth, professionalism, and patience, making everything smooth and enjoyable from start to finish. A dear friend of ours, who has lived in New York for many years, suggested IPPUDO after sharing how it had become a tradition to bring his family here, and for good reason. Everything here is absolutely phenomenal. IPPUDO makes their noodles and broth on site, and those details make all the difference. The ambience is relaxed and inviting. Ichiran specializes in one type of pork broth ramen and they do it really well. I had always enjoyed my meal there and find it a place to go when it is cold or I am craving comfort food. While there is only one type of ramen, you do get to make customizations regarding saltiness, spiciness, and toppings. You order at the front counter and then they will direct you to a solo booth where they will collect your order and serve you your food. It’s a very unique dining experience. You will be seated

I'm so pleased to walk by this place. I'm solo and felt very welcomed. Food was so tasty. Grilled aubergine and karate chicken were delicious but I really loved the fr8ed aged tofu!! Enjoyed it all with sake. Shout out to Palm who helped me choose what to eat and have a nice chat.

I’ve been coming to Shiro Sushi almost every week because the food can be good. However, the biggest issue is consistency, and lately it’s been getting worse. The flavors are not always the same from visit to visit. One time I was served food that was cold, and on another visit I unfortunately found plastic in my food, which was very disappointing and concerning. Service has also been inconsistent. Sometimes the servers seem too busy talking among themselves, which makes it hard to get attenti

This new sushi spot is an absolute gem and earns every bit of a 5/5 from me! The rolls were fantastic — fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The gyoza was also a standout, perfectly crispy on the outside and packed with flavor. One word of advice: come hungry, but don’t go overboard ordering. The portions here are seriously generous — two rolls per person is more than enough to leave you satisfied. Pace yourself! Not everything was a hit for me personally — the ground squid ball appeti

Came here for the lunch menu special here. I was a couple mintues late, little did I know the time. But the good side is that they honored the lunch special even though I was a couple mintues late. The place is still quite during work hours. Location is close to the tourist areas but not much foot traffic yet accessible. They have a nice variety of food and drinks to choose from. Sushi and the rice is freshly made and served quick. I haven't come here during the busiest hours after work yet.

We shared everything family style at Tonchin New York, and every dish was fantastic. It’s easy to see why this restaurant has been recognized in the Michelin Guide since 2019. For appetizers, we had the Original Tonchin Maguro, Tebasaki Curry + Cheese Wings, Gyoza, and the Unagi Rice Ball. Everything was packed with flavor and perfect for sharing. For our main course, we ordered the Tonchin Classic Tokyo Tonkotsu Ramen, which was rich, comforting, and exactly what you want from a great bowl of

Great spot for Japanese barbecue. Servers are very helpful and options are endless. I gad the lunch special which had soup and salad. Honestly the soup was unnecessary for me but the salad was very good and provided a nice balance to all the rich meat. I had the fried rice and it was delicious but when added to the meat/fish options a lot of food. The sauces are very tasty. Overall I enjoyed this restaurant very much.

Went on a whim and made reservations a few hours before for my latest exercise in gluttony. To be clear, if you’re looking for an authentic, traditional Japanese omakase experience, this is not exactly it. And they’re not pretending it is either. However, the cuts of fish are good and you will definitely get your money’s worth. Late-night izakaya for soba salad, sushi, yakitori & other Japanese fare in a spartan-looking space.
We came here for dinner, and the place was absolutely packed. We had to wait about 20 minutes for a table, but it was 100% worth it. Once we were seated, the service was fast, attentive, and efficient despite how busy the restaurant was. The food was outstanding! My favorite was the Yaki Corn, perfectly charred and smoky, coated with buttery seasoning, topped with grated cheese, and finished with a hint of spice and fresh herbs. Ichiran is hands down one of the best ramen spots I’ve ever been to and easily my #1. After deciding to try Shinpi, we quickly realized we made the right choice—it exceeded all of our expectations. It is relatively a small sushi restaurant/bar. Sushi is freshly hand rolled with the warm rice right in front of you. We had different 6-hand rolls and The Nozie- all rolls were fresh and tasty. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Visited this hibachi spot and overall had a really good experience. When we first arrived, they seated us at a very crowded table, which made it hard to enjoy the show or even have a conversation. Love the atmosphere and service, and it’s also open late-night with plenty of drink options. Easy to walk-in depending on the time (we went on the later side during a week night so didn’t need a reservation). I think the menu can be a bit hit-or-miss. I got the oyakodon bowl which I found quite fatty and oily, overall tasted OK. The skewers and beef udon were also okay, not the best but satisfied our cravings. Outstanding service can make a busy restaurant unforgettable and Brian did exactly that. Even though the place was packed, our wait was only about 10 minutes. I dined recently and really enjoyed the food. I particularly liked the 10 course tasting progression and uni add-on. I also thought the value was excellent. I wanted to share one small observation because it stood out to me. During the meal, my area was never really cleared/reset between courses, and after ordering a bottle of sake, it was never poured throughout dinner, not even the first pour. The restaurant was not especially busy at the time, I was sitting at the bar. There was an obvious

Yeni was attentive and gracious, setting a welcoming tone right from the start. The miso vegetable ramen was comforting and full of flavor, while the fried chicken wings had a unique twist that made them stand out. The shrimp ramen was outstanding, spicy and tangy at the same time, with the veggie gyoza and edamame rounding out the meal perfectly. First off, the atmosphere and decoration is beautiful. The wait staff is amazing, very attentive and professional. We ordered a fried dumplings and Wagu beef on skillet. They are good but could be better in my opinion. The star of the show are definitely the Spicy Tonkatsu Ramen and the Miso Ramen. Tomi Jazz in NYC was such a cute date night spot. Just know before you go, they don’t take reservations, and the place is small. I had seen reviews saying the average wait was around 1.5 hours, and that was pretty much exactly how long we waited. Honestly though, it was worth it. Hidden along Brooklyn’s 7th Avenue, Ten-Ichi Ramen serves the kind of ramen that feels especially rewarding on a rainy day or cold evening. The miso broth is the star — rich, creamy, deeply savory, and comforting without becoming overly heavy. But what really elevates the bowl is the smoky char siu. Lightly torched with crisp caramelized edges, it adds another layer of depth that lingers between bites and gives the ramen a subtle flame-kissed finish.
