Counter service ordering from an array of Japanese dishes, specializing in ramen, with cozy decor.
Not cheap. But maybe because they’re good and authentic. We ordered chicken ramen and shoyu ramen, both of which were DELICIOUS! The chicken meat had some ginger in it and it tasted so smooth. The soya-based broth was clear and comforting. The shoyu pork ramen broth was different but also great. You can taste the meat and the bones but not too rich or overpowering. Sometimes you have a couple of slurps and you already feel full. You know what I mean? But this one is refreshing and mixed with the

Artful Japanese fusion & sushi by a Kyoto-trained chef served in a sleek, modern space.
Giving it a two star review because they skimped out on the sushi. Meaning instead of putting yellowtail in my roll they put fake crab meat.. love that. Thanks (rainbow roll photo attached below) and also as I went to grab a leaf from next to the sushi ( realized there’s black dirt, the wash was not proper and I don’t know how much more of dirt I’ve eaten … dropping stars there. Hopefully we won’t get sick.

Great takeout — tasty food and good prices! We ordered takeout from Teriyaki One Japanese Grill and everything was fresh, hot, and delicious. The salmon teriyaki was perfectly cooked, the fried rice had great flavor, and the dumplings were crispy and full of taste. Portions were generous, and the price was very reasonable. The order was ready on time and packed neatly. Definitely a great spot for quick and tasty Japanese food — we’ll be ordering again soon!

I used to frequent the famous Chang Pai restaurant in Dhaka often in the 90s. So, I was pleasantly surprised to find d Chang Pau in New York. The Thai soup tasted almost exactly like in Dhaka. I also ordered Chao Min and fried rice. Although, they didn't taste quite like the one in Dhaka but they were pretty good.

Chef Jorge and the Kansha experience was lovely. Personal, intimate, and so well thought out. We went to the omakase counter as a party of 4, and had the counter to ourselves. (although it seats 6) The entire 17 course omakase was well planned and executed, with fantastic quality fish, rice, etc. Loved interacting with Chef Jorge and hearing about his story while we ate our way through the omakase. DEFINITELY RECOMMEND!

This is by far the best all-you-can-eat sushi spot I’ve ever been to. The food quality is excellent, and the customer service is outstanding. It’s truly a must-visit! The staff was kind, compassionate, and efficient toward me and my family, and our food came out quickly and fresh. Pretty good udon and price can't be beat in nyc! Went around 8pm on a Friday night and had to wait about 30 min or so to get in. Got the kitsune and niku udon - both came out piping hot. They're very generous with the niku but wish they gave more tofu pieces with the kitsune udon. Still a pretty good deal and would come again

This restaurant is truly perfection. The food was phenomenal, and the service was exemplary. It’s such a lovely restaurant with modern amenities, a lovely restroom, a large bar with large televisions and comfortable chairs for seated dining. This place was okay. There is a cute interior and fine service but the food was just alright. I got chicken katsu ramen which was a lot better reheated than it was at the actual restaurant. The vegetable dumplings were pretty good though. We were a party of two with no reservations on a Sunday evening and we were seated immediately. Perfect for groups of 2-4. Had such a great experience at Suteishi! The food was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. Every dish felt well made and worth it. The service was also amazing, everyone was attentive, welcoming, and made us feel taken care of throughout the meal. The atmosphere was one of my favorite parts too: cozy, relaxing, and perfect for catching up or having a nice dinner out. Definitely a place I’d come back to and recommend to friends!

Had such a great experience at Ai Ki Ya Japanese Restaurant! The highlight for me was definitely the cotton candy sukiyaki — not only does it look super cute and Instagram-worthy, but the flavor is amazing. Once the cotton candy melts into the broth, it creates a slightly sweet, rich taste that pairs perfectly with the thinly sliced beef and veggies. So comforting and unique! We also ordered the 10-skewer yakitori platter for $29.99, which is such a great deal. There was a nice variety of skew

We had an omakase lunch, and it was such a fun experience. The meal focused on raw fish and was served in a hand-roll sushi style, which felt really unique and interesting. They gave us a separate paper menu with descriptions of each dish and tips on how to enjoy them, which I loved. One of the dishes even let us try rare salts from around the world—such a cool touch! I came here yesterday on Memorial Day to get some drinks and dessert with a few friends. I ordered the matcha soft serve drink. My friends got matcha strawberry drink and a matcha parfait ice cream. LOVED this spot! While Fuyu Ramen’s name means “Winter Ramen” in Japanese, there are several dishes suited for the summer and the comprehensive menu includes far more than ramen (including rice dishes and many izakaya-style appetizers). My favorites are the Tako Wasabi and the Takoyaki. If I were to go back again, I'd just order those dishes and a nice cold canned Asahi.

Pretty underwhelming experience overall. Especially considering the options in the neighborhood. Asking the guests if they want dessert halfway through eating dinner because "kitchen is closing" is really bad form. Especially for guests paying over $100 per person. Like how much effort and cleanup does it take to make a dessert? Bad hospitality. If you want to be home earlier, have earlier closing hours.
