Tatsuda was excellent. The fish was incredibly fresh, the quality was obvious in every piece, and the pacing was exactly what you want from omakase: relaxed, thoughtful, and never rushed. The chefs were clearly skilled and precise, but the experience still felt warm and approachable. The staff was friendly, attentive, and made the whole night easy. Every course was clean, fresh, and delicious. The nigiri was the standout, but the full experience delivered from start to finish. Great food, grea

Upscale hotel restaurant preparing sophisticated Japanese cuisine, from sushi to omakase.
I’m very disappointed that for such high price sushi. There are fish scales on the sushi. The chef who prepared the fish with poor skill and attention. The fish should be perfectly clean with all scales removed. Proper sushi preparation requires the meticulous removal of all scales. Scales are hard, they can easily get stuck in the throat.

I used to go to Osaka years ago but I started disliking their food, so I started going somewhere new for sushi. I decided to give them another shot the other day and realized why I stopped going years ago. The tuna sashimi had weird white stuff on it. Two pieces of my California Roll were missing avocado. My salmon roll had tiny pieces of salmon and the rest was greens. The worst part was the customer service. I had ordered noodle soup for my son. In most places I am charged $3-$4 for this

For a fast food Japanese influenced restaurant it does the job. If you are craving teriyaki, or some quick rolls, or a poke bowl this is your spot. It is not outstanding but it is not bad. It definitely serves its purpose.

Probably a 4.5/5 ⭐️ for me but seeing as their current Google rating is only 4.3, thought I’ll raise it a little to help boost it. Pretty decent for a quick bite to eat. They have lunch specials here which makes the deals pretty worth it. The place is tiny, not really a dine-in spot. I got two rolls and a miso soup and it was about $16 (incl. taxes) which is not bad in times sq.

Ive been to every Kazu Nori location in Manhattan and this is by far the best one. It feels like a mini getaway to Japan. The rice is always fresh and warm and the fish is also so fresh. I also love that gratuity is already included. On this most recent trip, our server, Jane was exceptional. She was very kind and attentive and was the best server I have ever had at any Kazu Nori, including this one!

The service is fast, but it’s also clear they don’t want you to stay and linger. They brought my dish out, then I sat there for about 10 minutes waiting for my wife’s food while two different people kept saying “one minute.” If her dish wasn’t ready, why bring mine out first? By the time hers arrived, mine was cold. I sent it back just to be warmed up, which is not something you should have to do at a sit down restaurant. Overall it felt disorganized. I’ve been coming here on and off for many years — this place has probably been around at least 20 years. It’s one of those old neighborhood sushi spots a lot of locals know about. This is Korean-style sushi, which is a little different from traditional Japanese sushi. One thing that makes it unique is they give you Korean spicy sauce to dip the sushi in, which actually adds a nice kick and a different flavor. Also just a heads up, this place is take-out only, so you’re basically grabbing your

I discovered Miyama Sushi & Steakhouse while searching online for a restaurant nearby. It was conveniently close to my home, with excellent reviews and appealing photos. Limited menu items with a premium price! However, the food is good and this place indeed lives up to its hype. The beef pie is curry based and it's better to go with some kind of rice. It would be better that the dish comes with a bowl of rice instead of us ordering the premium mushroom rice. The water tastes very tappy and it's better to go with lemons 🍋.

Came here twice for Knicks games. Great crowd and delicious food. The fish is incredibly fresh and delicious. Service could be a bit better. Nem is a cute little Japanese restaurant that has both indoor and outdoor seating. The service was a bit slow, which took about 30 minutes after placing our order to get our food. The egg salad sandwich was quite underwhelming and expensive for what it is; it wasn't all that flavorful and not as creamy as a traditional Japanese egg sando. We also got t

3.5 stars. Good service and pleasant, simple dining space. Okay sushi. They have lunch specials/deals every day, even weekends. The quality of the fish is just alright. It's not too pricey, and the food quality and price do check out. It's really not bad for the price, but I'm not sure if I'd come back given the many sushi options nearby.
